My Mother-in-Law Gifted Me a Building

Chapter 65: Taiqing Palm Skill

"Of course. As long as you want to learn," Chu Feng said with a nod.

After all, Su Miaoke was his wife. They were family. As for the Chu Family’s affairs, Chu Feng couldn’t be bothered to think about them.

Besides, Chu Feng didn’t need any other Cultivation Techniques. He already had the Qi Cultivation Technique from the God of Wealth.

What he needed most right now were offensive techniques, and the Taiqing Palm Skill and Sword Technique were perfect for him.

"Once I master this, I’ll be able to protect you, darling." Su Miaoke was overjoyed. She picked up the Taiqing True Scripture and went to study it.

Chu Feng, on the other hand, picked up the Taiqing Palm Skill. He couldn’t practice the Sword Technique just yet.

After flipping through it for a while, Chu Feng began to understand the Taiqing Palm Skill.

It consisted of nine moves, or nine palms. If he could master it completely, he would have learned all nine moves.

A full combo could shatter even a massive boulder with a single palm strike.

This Palm Skill was incredibly powerful, not weak in the slightest.

Chu Feng was astonished, especially when he saw a note stating that only the most outstanding disciples of the Chu Family were permitted to learn it.

’My grandfather must have been a young prodigy in the Chu Family, someone of high standing,’ Chu Feng thought.

Then, Chu Feng began practicing the Palm Skill.

Meanwhile, Tang Chuxia arrived at Hu Long’s villa.

Tang Mu was surrounded by women, lost in a sea of carnal pleasure.

"All of you, get out!" Tang Chuxia snapped, glaring at the women with a frown.

The women were about to snap back at Tang Chuxia for barging in, but Tang Mu immediately stood up. "All of you, get out," he said to them.

The women left the villa, their faces etched with displeasure. They had been in the middle of their fun, and this interruption had thoroughly ruined the mood.

"Sister Chuxia, what brings you here? You could have at least given me a heads-up," Tang Mu said as he got dressed.

Tang Chuxia didn’t say a word, merely staring at Tang Mu with unconcealed disgust.

"Sister Chuxia, is there a reason you came to see me?" Tang Mu asked.

"Tang Mu, you know damn well what you’ve been up to!" Tang Chuxia said icily.

"Hmm? Sister Chuxia, you’ve lost me. I’ve been here in Beihai this whole time. I haven’t gone anywhere," Tang Mu said, feigning ignorance.

"Are you still going to play dumb with me? Have you forgotten the clan’s orders? We are not to make a move on the Zhao Family unless it’s a last resort! And even then, we’re not to leave any evidence! Are you just treating the family’s words like hot air?!" Tang Chuxia said furiously.

"Oh, so that’s what this is about. I thought it was something important," Tang Mu said with a sneer. "Tang Chuxia, don’t forget, we’re already on bad terms with the Zhao Family. So what if I made a move against them? The best defense is a good offense."

Hearing this, Tang Chuxia was instantly filled with rage.

"Tang Mu, you must have a death wish! If the family finds out about this, just wait for your punishment! Going after the Zhao Family is bad enough, but getting caught with evidence? You’re incorrigibly stupid! Are you trying to give the Zhao Family the perfect excuse to declare war on our Tang Family?" Tang Chuxia raged.

At these words, the color drained from Tang Mu’s face.

"What? The Zhao Family knows? That’s impossible!" Tang Mu exclaimed in disbelief.

He was sure he had been discreet enough; there was no way the Zhao Family could have found out.

But he had no idea that Zhao Qinghan had already found proof.

"You’re so arrogant. They have proof that you did it, so your denials are useless. I cleaned up your mess this time, but if it happens again, I won’t be so forgiving!"

"If you’re so intent on going after the Zhao Family, now is not the time. Wait until next year’s Martial Arts Grand Ceremony—you can do whatever you want then. But for now, you’d better behave, unless you want to end up like your brother, Tang Lin!"

Tang Chuxia’s face was ice-cold as she delivered the stern warning to Tang Mu.

"That bastard Chu Feng killed my brother! I have to slaughter him and get my revenge! I can leave the Zhou Family alone, but Chu Feng and his entire family... I will kill them all! They’ll all be buried with my brother!" Tang Mu snarled, gritting his teeth.

"Just because you say Chu Feng killed him doesn’t make it true. Do you have any proof? And let me warn you, you’d better be careful. This Chu Feng is no ordinary person," Tang Chuxia said.

When Zhao Qinghan had warned her not to touch Chu Feng, Tang Chuxia had immediately ordered an investigation into his background.

Although Chu Feng’s record was clean, she had a nagging feeling he might be connected to the Xixiang Chu Family. If that were true, they would be mortal enemies.

"I don’t care if he’s ordinary or not! My brother’s death is definitely connected to him. So what if he really is from the Xixiang Chu Family? I’m still going to kill that bastard!" Tang Mu refused to yield, dead set on eliminating Chu Feng.

"Don’t even think about it! Your recklessness will only bring disaster upon the Tang Family. If you insist on this path, then get the hell back to the Southern Border!" Tang Chuxia flared up in anger.

"Tang Chuxia, whose side are you on? Are you even part of the Tang Family? How can you side with an outsider? My brother died at that bastard’s hands, and you won’t even let me get revenge! What are you playing at? And stop trying to use the family to intimidate me. I’ve already spoken with my father about this. The family has approved. He’s just some nobody with no backing. What is there to be afraid of?!"

The entire purpose of Tang Mu’s trip was to avenge his brother; he would never abandon that goal.

Besides, he’d always had a problem with Tang Chuxia. Their strength was comparable, but her status was higher than his, and he resented it deeply.

"Have you forgotten how your older brother died?" Tang Chuxia sneered. "You know how strong he was. If he really died at Chu Feng’s hands, do you honestly think you can beat him?"

"So what if the kid really is from the Chu Family? Back in the day, our Tang Family nearly annihilated them. Why would we be afraid of them now?" Tang Mu said with extreme arrogance.

"So you’re determined to do as you please?" Tang Chuxia asked.

"Of course I’m sure! He killed my brother. This debt must be paid in blood!" Tang Mu snarled.

"Fine. In that case, don’t come crying to me when things go wrong. I’m washing my hands of this. I will report today’s events to the Patriarch," Tang Chuxia said, then turned and left.

"Tang Chuxia, you think too highly of yourself," Tang Mu sneered. "Go ahead, tell the Patriarch. You think I’m afraid?"

Early the next morning, Chu Feng and Su Miaoke were already awake.

The two went to the park behind their villa to practice their Cultivation.

Chu Feng was eager to master the offensive Palm Skill as quickly as possible. That way, he would have the means to protect himself if he ran into danger.

After all, the difference in combat ability between someone who knew Martial Arts and someone who didn’t was immense.

The first move of the Taiqing Palm Skill was the opening stance.
