"Darling, I’ve missed you to death!" The moment Wang Chenning entered her room, Li Fuzhen couldn’t hold back. She threw herself into his arms. "I’ve never missed a man like this before. I don’t even dare to imagine what I’d do if you weren’t in my life!"
Wang Chenning was a poison—once you got a taste, there was no escape. Li Fuzhen had reminded herself time and again to keep a clear head when it mattered most. But the moment she saw Wang Chenning, she couldn’t stop her heart from fluttering. All her inhibitions vanished, and all she wanted was to let herself go completely.
"You were great tonight. You deserve a proper reward!" Wang Chenning said, leaning in to kiss her.
Li Fuzhen was instantly ecstatic and let herself go completely.
However, she was soon utterly defeated by Wang Chenning’s domineering ways.
"Don’t be greedy now," Wang Chenning whispered in her ear. "Relax and lie down. I’ll perform some acupuncture, and you’ll fall asleep right after. Besides, you’ll be staying with us for a while."
"Mm, I understand." Li Fuzhen was completely intoxicated by his manliness, as docile as an innocent young girl. "You should go see Luo Yuqing in a little while."
"What nonsense are you spouting?" Wang Chenning glared and gave her a pinch.
Li Fuzhen yelped, then broke into a giggle. "I can tell, you know. Luo Yuqing has a thing for you. You’re not going to tell me you haven’t noticed, are you?"
"Yeah, I haven’t noticed," Wang Chenning said, refusing to fall for her trap. "I’m not as experienced as you, Sister Li."
"Then how about your big sister helps you out?" Li Fuzhen giggled. "As long as she’s into you, all you have to do is be bold and make a move. If she’s still playing coy, then you just need to be a little more direct and forceful. I refuse to believe she could resist that domineering side of yours. As long as you give her a taste of bliss, she’ll definitely submit to you!"
"I find that hard to believe." Seeing that Li Fuzhen wasn’t certain about any secret relationship between him and Luo Yuqing, Wang Chenning continued to play dumb. "I wouldn’t dare make a move on her, anyway. She’s got a fierce reputation in Yandu. Bai Qianxun is a total badass who isn’t afraid of anyone, but even she caves when it comes to Luo Yuqing."
Li Fuzhen giggled. "Then when should your big sister give you a... thorough helping hand? Let you experience a whole new world?"
Seeing the look on her face, Wang Chenning knew exactly what she was implying. He cursed inwardly, ’When women decide to be shameless, they really leave men in the dust.’
But Li Fuzhen didn’t know that the very thing she was hoping for had, unbeknownst to her, already happened once.
If Luo Yuqing and Li Fuzhen were both aware of the situation and willing to accept it, then similar incidents could happen many more times.
However, Wang Chenning didn’t pursue the topic, instead urging Li Fuzhen to lie down for her treatment.

Wang Chenning left Li Fuzhen’s room, where she was now sound asleep after her treatment.
As planned, he made his way to Luo Yuqing’s room, two floors away.
"Is Li Fuzhen taken care of?" Luo Yuqing pounced on Wang Chenning the moment he walked in, smiling coquettishly. "How was it?"
Wang Chenning grinned. "I guarantee that within half a year, I can trick her out of half her fortune."
"You’re really something, being able to wrap a strong, middle-aged woman like her around your little finger," Luo Yuqing said, her tone laced with jealousy. "Sometimes, I really want to teach her a lesson. Hmph. At her age, still looking for a second shot at love. Has she no shame? By the way, can you tell me about her... performance?"
Of course, Wang Chenning had no intention of telling her. Instead, he taught Luo Yuqing a harsh lesson with his actions.
Luo Yuqing was no match for Wang Chenning and was soon defeated so thoroughly it was a pitiful sight.
Though she fought back, she was powerless to turn the tables and ultimately had no choice but to accept her fate.
After he had his way with Luo Yuqing and saw her drift off to sleep, Wang Chenning tidied up and quietly left her room, heading for Li Yanxian’s.
Li Yanxian was waiting for him. When Wang Chenning entered, she sized him up with a scrutinizing gaze, then leaned in close and took a sniff.
After failing to detect the heavy scent of another woman on him, Li Yanxian didn’t press the issue.
She didn’t know that Wang Chenning, an expert in herbal medicine, could mask any scent he chose.
Juggling multiple women in one night, he didn’t want any unnecessary complications, so he had masked the scents of both Li Fuzhen and Luo Yuqing.
"So, why did you ask to see me alone?" Wang Chenning asked with a grin, looking at Li Yanxian, who was still dressed in formal business attire. "Did you want to discuss the meaning of life, or... human anatomy?"
"What do you think?" Li Yanxian gave him a coquettish look. "If I said I wanted to experience the romance of a Yandu night, would you go with me?"
"I wouldn’t." Wang Chenning shook his head. "You’ve seen for yourself that both Bai Qianxun and Li Mingchao have it in for me. They’ve definitely sent people to watch me. If you and I were to go out in the middle of the night, by tomorrow there would be rumors flying that we’re having an affair, complete with photographic evidence."
Li Yanxian’s eyes widened. "And you’re not afraid of rumors starting just by coming to my room in the middle of the night?"
"They wouldn’t dare monitor you or your aunt," Wang Chenning replied with a sly smile. "And if I’m not mistaken, the security cameras on this floor have already been temporarily disabled."
"How did you know?" Li Yanxian asked in surprise.
She and Li Fuzhen were on the same floor, which they had booked out entirely.
When booking it, they had specifically requested that the hotel temporarily deactivate all surveillance cameras on their floor so their activities wouldn’t be monitored.
Li Fuzhen had mentioned this to Wang Chenning before, which was why he wasn’t concerned.
"Just a guess," Wang Chenning replied with a grin. "I figured an aunt and niece like you wouldn’t want to be monitored. Otherwise, you wouldn’t have invited me to your room at this hour!"
"Fine." Li Yanxian nodded. "In that case, once we get to Qiantang or Guangling, you’ll have to take me on a night tour of West Lake or Slender West Lake."
"If the opportunity arises, I will," Wang Chenning said, the smile never leaving his face. "Now, can you tell me why you really invited me here tonight?"
"I want to know what benefits you plan on giving my aunt for coming to you. I also want to know when you’re going to take me sightseeing in Chang’an. And I want to know how you plan on helping me achieve my goals." Li Yanxian had a crafty look on her face. "I didn’t have a chance to ask you during the gathering earlier. Now there are no interruptions. You can speak freely."
"Such a beautiful night... isn’t it a shame to waste it on such dull topics?" As he spoke, Wang Chenning pulled Li Yanxian into his embrace. "Shouldn’t we get to the important business first?"
Wang Chenning had expected her to resist, to struggle with all her might.
He hadn’t expected that she wouldn’t struggle at all. Instead, she simply relaxed into his embrace.
She looked up at him, her expression bewitching. "I can’t overpower you. If you were to force yourself on me, I suppose I would have no choice but to yield."
