During the Dark Ages

We crashed into the [Holy Territory] and I could instantly feel it's effects, but Hans was feeling it even worse. Due to how much aura was exuding from his body, a cloud of thick demonic aura exuded from his body like smoke and I could hear suppressed groans of pain.

'The [Holy Territory] is working.' I thought while small wisps rose from my body. The [Holy Territory] was affecting me less due to my previous experience and the [Holy Resistance] trait but since Hans had neither of these, he was feeling the full brunt of it's wrath. Just as these thoughts passed through my mind, I saw Hans trying to run out of the Territory but I wouldn't let him.

"Scared of a little holy energy, you big, red bitch!!!" I shouted with a condescending smirk on my face which really pissed him off. He instantly turned around while gathering his aura in his fist and I did the same but differently. I retracted most of my aura back into my body and focused it internally into my hands, wrapping it around my muscles, while he just covered his hands in his aura causing even more smoke to rise off his body and his DP to drain even faster. Perfect.

I met him in the middle as he sent a punch towards me and I blocked it with my hands. The power behind the punch didn't do nearly as much damage as before due to the [Holy Territory] reducing his power but there was still a shock wave when his fist collided with my arms. I skidded across the grounds for a few meters and then I shot towards him like an arrow. Hans fired a fireball at me but the [Holy Territory] siphoned most of it's energy before it even reached me and I simply backhanded it out of the way. Arriving in front of him, I punched him in the face and his head was flung backwards. He lifted his head and roared, releasing a shock wave which pushed me back. His eyes were now bloodshot and predatory similar to the woman from before. He was slowly losing control and succumbing to the anger brought about by his family ability. Good, this would make the fight even easier for me.

'I guess he just needed a little push but…he's still not all the way there yet.' I thought as I looked at Hans. He then charged at me and I flew into the sky and he let out a low growl. He fired more fireballs at me and I simply flew around as they chased me and the [Holy Territory] siphoned there energy until they disappeared.

'How much energy does this guy have?' I wondered. He has been spamming fireballs for over fifteen minutes and more than a few of them managed to hit me but they were too weak to do any serious damage. Then out of frustration, Hans roared and jumped into the sky at me and swung his hands at me creating five claw like slashes of energy. A bit frustrated myself, I gathered my aura into my leg and kicked the slashes destroying them then I flew towards him. He had a feral grin on his face as I flew towards him and he pulled his fist back to deliver a punch. Doing a last minute maneuver, I kicked the air and jumped over his head causing his punch to miss. I placed my hand on the back of his head and sent out a burst of hell fire that burned his flesh making him snarl in pain.

I flew back into the air and he opened his mouth and released a fiery breath forcing me to cross my arms to protect myself. The burnt flesh on his head healed but very slowly which can be attributed to the [Holy Territory] or…

'He's finally running out of energy.' I thought joyously.

Speaking of DP, I was running low as well and soon I will have to leave the [Holy Territory] as well, but first I need to do something that will guarantee my victory. I activated [Aura Vision] and focused it on the mansion. The [Holy Territory] interfered with my skill somewhat, as the entire area was lit up gold, making it harder to spot other auras, but I could still see a few things.

'Who are they? Wait a minute, are those the children that I saw in here? Shit.' I thought as I sensed blue auras inside the mansion that most likely belonged to the children that were survived the apocalypse this long. Thankfully for me, they were underground so they shouldn't be in any danger but I should leave the [Holy Territory] as quickly as possible. I flew towards the mansion and Hans threw a giant fireball at me but then another barrier seemed to appear around the mansion protecting it, and me, from any damage.

'The barrier can differentiate between an attack and a person but why did it let me through.' I thought curiously, but quickly dismissed the thought as I had better things to think about. I crashed through the wall and looked around the mansion and I finally found what I was looking for on the first floor and quickly drove through the mansion's second floor to reach the first. I quickly found the item I was searching for….a holy weapon. A small grey object surrounded by dense golden energy.
