During the Dark Ages

As I charged at Hans and two greater imps stood in my path trying to stop me with their weapons. As they swung their sword at me, I opened my mouth and a stream of fire released burning the two Greater imps and pushing them out of the way. I grabbed Hans by his throat and took off into the air and flew a distance away before throwing him towards the ground. He crashed heavily onto the ground and I dropped to the ground soon after.

"Did I hit a nerve, Angel pet?" Hans said as he got to his feet.

"Annoying bastard." I said as I walked towards him ready to kill him.

"Tell me little Demon, how much do you know about the house of Bellicus?" He asked and a bit intrigued I stopped.

"In the Underworld, we are also known as the House of War due to the Wrath ring, our homeland, being always embroiled in battle between us and other demonic beings, but even so we still have a stable civilization in the Wrath ring and do you know why?" He smiled and I suddenly had a bad feeling.

"It's because of one of our family's treasure, our family ability….[Fury]." He whispered the last word quietly but I still heard it. Suddenly his aura flowed out of his body and a deep dark red energy enveloped him. I immediately knew what was happening witnessing something similar before and I immediately charged at him hoping to stop him from fully activating his family ability but before I could even land a solid punch, an aura coated fist sped to my face before I could even react.

I managed to cushion the blow with the palms of my hands but the skin on my palm was peeling off and more than a few bones in my hands were broken. I skidded a couple meters across the ground before coming to a full stop but by then it was already too late. Looking over at Hans, I could see his body was fully healed and even his severed hand had regrown to it's former glory. No wonder he chopped it off without hesitation. His eyes were slitted just like the woman's, but there was something different about them but I couldn't quite place it.

"Amazed by the might of I, little demon?" Hans said with a deep voice that made him sound like some kind of ancient evil.

'Huh.' I thought surprised, the last greater imp that used their family ability they could only make bestial roars, they couldn't talk. And that woman fought like a berserk beast which means…..

"It seems you need more convincing, little one?" Hans said with an evil smile on his face and a large fireball formed in his hand and every instinct in my body told me to run and not make that hit me and so I did. I flew into the sky but I soon sensed the fireball heading towards me. I dived down between two buildings and the fire ball followed after me causing me to curse under my breath.

'Why couldn't he have gone berserk like the other one?' I thought. A large part of the reason I was able to beat that woman was because she was berserk and was mostly fighting on instinct, which means she wasn't able to come up with any strategic ways to kill me. But with Hans keeping his sentience that just made my situation worst.

I flew through the window of one of the buildings and the fireball crashed into the wall of the building causing a huge explosion that turned the entire building into rubble.

*Cough*

I coughed loudly trying to get rid of the dust in my lungs as I got out of the rubble. I had protected myself from any severe damage by covering myself with my wings enhanced with my aura which protected me from the flames. As I got to my feet I saw Hans walking towards me leisurely, not at all worried about me escaping or attacking him.

'Damn it, how am I going to beat this guy? I doubt that fireball was the full extent of his power.' I thought and activated my [Aura Vision]. Alice and the others were currently battling the Greater imps so I wasn't getting any help anytime soon….or ever. I looked around the city desperately searching for anything that could help me and there shining in the distance like a beacon of hope was my answer.
