Chapter 118: Guess who?
Peter saw Killgrave about to take off his pants and at that moment decided to intervene in whatever suffering Jessica had been enduring for who knows how long.
"If I were you, I would leave that in place, mate," he said in a deep voice full of negative emotions.
He saw Killgrave turn around to look at him, and the man’s eyes went toward his weapon.
Faster than either could fully react, he threw a sleeping bomb, instantly putting both Killgrave and Jessica to sleep.
Getting up from the sofa, he took a syringe from his tool pocket and went to Jessica, where he pricked her in the neck and emptied the entire contents.
Little by little, the vast majority of the bruises and internal wounds began healing.
Wrapping her in a blanket, he injected another syringe into her arm to ensure she would sleep peacefully for a good while.
Taking a Nanocube out of his pocket, he unfolded it and a rectangular box appeared in the middle of the room.
Pressing a button on its right side, it opened and several Microbots came out. Before doing everything he had planned, he checked every corner of the room, finding several things which he put in his pocket and wrapped some of them with Jessica’s belongings.
Taking Jessica in a bridal-style carry, he approached the balcony.
Having a neurotransmitter in his helmet, he controlled the Microbots, making them hold Killgrave.
Creating a covered descent, they slowly began moving down from the hotel in the darkest and least visible part of the building, completing the task with complete success according to Cortana.
Once downstairs, he carefully approached the car and gently placed Jessica in the passenger seat.
After that, he opened the trunk and put Killgrave inside.
With a command, he made the Microbots return to the box. By pressing another button, he made it shrink back into a Nanocube, which he put in his pocket. Getting into the car, he headed home where he had to collect payment from someone.
-------
Slap. Slap. Slap.
"Wake up. Get lost. Up, up and away, Sleeping Beauty," he said, hitting Killgrave in the face, waking him up.
"Where am I?" Killgrave said while looking around and then at him. "Who are you?"
"Where you are is none of your business. Who I am, let us just say I am your judge, jury, and executioner."
"I order you to untie me and tell me where we are," Killgrave ordered while using his pheromones, making him stand up and walk behind him.
This action caused Killgrave to smile.
That smile vanished when he punched him in the cheek, making him spit out blood and a tooth.
He saw the face go from joy to confusion, and he punched him again, this time harder, enough to cut his lip and break his nose.
Seeing this, he grabbed him and readjusted his position, causing great pain. Sitting back down, he looked at him as he writhed.
"If you think your powers will affect me, you are very wrong. While you were unconscious, I had enough time to extract some of your DNA and find a way to neutralize your powers for a long period of time. I can even take them away permanently if I want."
He watched Killgrave’s face go from hope to fear when he heard how easily and quickly his ability had been neutralized.
His fear worsened considerably when he heard about the possibility of losing them entirely. "Seeing your face go from hope to despair is a true pleasure for me."
"What do you want? Power? Money? Women? I can give you everything if you do not hurt me and untie me," Killgrave said with a scared face.
"What I want is right in front of me, and in my right hand," he said, showing a notebook along with a USB drive. These objects made the man’s eyes widen.
"You son of a bitch, let go of that! Let go! Let go-...." He did not finish because he was hit again.
"Show some respect. I thought I would do this the easy way, but it seems you want the hard way."
He got up from the chair and disappeared into the shadows of the room, then reappeared. "I would tell you this hurts me more than it hurts you, but that would be a lie. This will hurt you.... A lot."
The lights came on, revealing that they were in his headquarters.
Next to him was a cart with various implements, which made Killgrave nervous. Among them were a car battery, cables, rags, and a bucket of water.
"From now on, you will experience the pain of every victim you have made suffer with your sins.
Once I am done, you will be so sorry you will wish your mother had made different decisions. This will be the first time I break my promise not to kill villains who are not mine," he said as he stood behind him and briefly massaged his shoulders.
Stopping, he returned to the cart and showed him several syringes filled with a green liquid. "Inside this is a liquid that will heal your wounds in minutes. That includes some mental resilience, which means we will be here for quite a while, my dear friend."
He then removed his gloves and jacket. "Good.... Say ’Ahhh~’."
"AHHHHHHH!"
"What a good lad. It did not hurt much, did it?"
"Rot in hell, you son of a bitch."
"I do not like it when people insult my mother."
"Hehehe, you are a mama’s boy, you damn bastard...."
He took and expelled a large amount of air to calm himself.
"Did you hear that, you damn son of a bitch?"
Taking his hand, he stared at him intently, and Killgrave returned his gaze with a mocking smile.
"Insult my mother one more time," he said while lightly squeezing his hand.
"Hehehe you son of a bitch-...."
"AHHHHHHHH!"
For a considerable amount of time he tortured Killgrave methodically, pausing regularly to administer the healing serum and continue.
He never ran out of ideas.
While doing this he also extracted information about all of Killgrave’s crimes, contacts, and operations.
After so long, Killgrave stopped screaming and resembled a doll.
When this happened, he administered adrenaline along with other substances, causing him to return to full awareness, and the work continued.
Once he was satisfied, he stopped.
Looking at the result, there was evidence everywhere of what had been done. Untying Killgrave, he fell like a rag doll.
Grabbing him by the hair, he left him in a specific location in the room and slowly began to gather everything together and pile it up.
Then he set it on fire, alive.
So much time had passed that pain was no longer registering the same way. He watched until the fire completed its work.
Just as he was about to turn around to go to the part of the facility where there was a changing room and a shower to clean himself up, the whole place went from white to completely black.
When he looked ahead, he saw that in front of him was a woman with white markings wearing a black robe. He blinked, and she went from being a long distance away to being a few centimeters from his face. In an instant they were in a passionate kiss.
As they separated, she came close to his ear and spoke in a sensual and hypnotic voice.
"You gave me a beautiful show. Keep it up and you might get a reward in the end."
He blinked again and everything was back to how it had been before. Looking around confused, he rubbed his eyes and walked back toward the bathroom.
(A/N: Guess who came?)
’I think I am getting crazier than I already am,’ he thought as he entered the bathroom.
---
Time Skip.
Sitting at the mainframe computer, he edited the video of his time with Killgrave, removing everything that was not the information it had provided.
After that, he digitized and read the entire journal along with the USB drive, which contained information on various people including bank accounts and other things.
This had not taken much time, so he headed toward the medical wing, one of the rooms he had focused more on than others when building it.
Upon entering, he saw Jessica sleeping in a bed, dressed in a white shirt and matching pants.
As he approached, he noticed the bruises and internal injuries had healed, thanks to the care provided by the medical robots in this location.
Stroking her face, he picked her up again in a bridal carry and headed to the basement where the car was located.
Getting off the elevator, he approached the car and put Jessica in the passenger seat.
Another thing he noticed was that the cleaning robots were doing a magnificent job. Some were also handling the remains of what had been Killgrave and directing them toward a hatch that led to the decomposer, an object that reduced everything to dust.
This device was connected to various parts of the house. Once the internal compartment was full, the material would move through a tube to a garbage disposal point far from the mansion.
Getting into the car, Jessica’s apartment address appeared on his helmet.
It had several unpaid bills, which suddenly appeared as paid once the gates opened. He drove through the tunnel until he exited through the alley toward 485 W 46th St, where the apartment was located.
Once he arrived at the location, he took a black bag containing all of Jessica’s belongings that he had found in the hotel room.
After checking it, he took some keys and slung the bag over his shoulder.
Getting out of the car, he went to the passenger seat. Before taking Jessica, he pressed a code on the panel. Once he had Jessica out of the car in a bridal carry, the car blended in, resembling another vehicle.
Approaching the entrance door, he put the key in and went inside.
Before coming to this place, he had looked up some information about Jessica, including her room number and floor.
He had not planned on using the elevator since it was the most common mode of transport here, so he used the stairs. To save time, he pulled the grappling hook and started climbing quickly, floor by floor, until he reached the right one.
Once on the floor, he quickly and stealthily made his way through the hallway to the apartment and entered. He inspected the house with his eyes. It was just like in the series.
Using his memories, he went to her room and laid her on her bed, where he carefully tucked her in. Looking at her for a few seconds, he went to find a chair and placed it near the bed. As he sat down, he took her hand and squeezed it lightly.
"You are free, Jessica," he said while looking at her face, which began to fill with tears, making her frown slightly in her sleep.
’Damn you, Killgrave. I hope Death is giving you the best punishment.’
Leaning back in the chair, he began to close his eyes while holding her hand.
