Chapter 109: Xenomorph World 8
Feeling the ground tremble, Perry Yates’s first thought was that something was about to burrow up from the earth.
But she quickly recalled the information about Xenomorphs she’d gotten from the base.
Xenomorphs didn’t have the ability to move underground; otherwise, they wouldn’t use human buildings to construct their hives.
Just then, a behemoth emerged from the Hive.
From a distance, Perry Yates could see the Xenomorph’s massive body.
It was shaped like a spider but had three heads. Each head had three eyes on top and two pairs of compound eyes on the sides. Behind the three heads was an abdomen a thousand times larger.
Red stripes circled its abdomen, resembling a demonic mask from afar and looking utterly terrifying.
Its eight long legs were like scythes, looking incredibly sharp.
The spider Xenomorph was huge, yet it moved with exceptional agility, charging straight for Perry Yates.
As it charged, a pair of sharp poisonous fangs under its three spider heads glinted with a cold light.
Seeing this, Perry Yates obviously wasn’t going to just stand there and take it. She deftly used Instant Teleportation to dodge the spider’s attacks.
However, she had a limited number of teleports and couldn’t use the ability too often.
Besides, according to the intel she had gathered from the base about Xenomorphs, there was no mention of a spider-type. It seemed to be a newly discovered species.
A silver light flashed in Perry Yates’s eyes, and in the next second, data on the spider Xenomorph appeared before her.
[Xenomorph Black Widow: A Xenomorph created from the combination of a Xenomorph and a black widow spider. It is massive and agile, capable of shooting spiderwebs from its mouth to capture prey.
The webs are highly toxic; skin contact results in immediate poisoning.

After reading the data, Perry Yates retreated again, watching the charging Xenomorph Black Widow’s... spider heads and wondering how she could possibly cut all three of them off.
’The Spiritual Ability Gun could definitely do it, but I’m worried its power is too great. It might make the Xenomorph Black Widow feel threatened and choose to self-destruct.’
She was also afraid the Spiritual Ability Gun might just blast it into self-destructing outright.
Perry Yates looked at the Xenomorph Black Widow’s massive, mountain-like abdomen as if it were a ticking time bomb.
Just then, Perry Yates suddenly thought of the Sleeping Cloud Mist. ’I wonder if this thing works on Xenomorphs.’
With that thought, a white cloud of mist flew from Perry Yates’s hand.
The white Sleeping Cloud Mist instantly enveloped all three of the Xenomorph Black Widow’s heads.
Unsure if it would be effective, she used it at maximum power this time.
If a human had been hit by that, it would have been enough to make them sleep so deeply they’d never wake up, essentially putting them in a vegetative state.
After being enveloped by the Sleeping Cloud Mist, the Xenomorph Black Widow didn’t immediately fall into a deep sleep as Perry Yates had expected.
"Is it useless?"
A trace of disappointment flickered in Perry Yates’s eyes. ’Looks like I’ll have to think of another way.’
Just as she was about to retract the Sleeping Cloud Mist, the body of the Xenomorph Black Widow, which had been charging menacingly toward her, suddenly faltered.
Then, like a drunkard, the Xenomorph Black Widow began to sway from side to side. After about a dozen seconds, its body crashed heavily to the ground.
Seeing her chance, and after confirming the Xenomorph Black Widow was truly asleep, Perry Yates took out a three-star machete item. With a swift motion, she lopped off the spider Xenomorph’s three heads.
Dark green blood splattered out, and where it hit the ground, it immediately made a SIZZLING, corrosive sound.
Seeing this, Perry Yates immediately checked her machete. She breathed a sigh of relief when she saw it was unchanged.
’It seems the Xenomorphs’ blood can only corrode two-star items and below. It’s useless against three-star items.’

Perry Yates’s eyes lit up when she saw the list.
’I didn’t expect such a big spider to have so many good parts.’
Perry Yates first detached the poisonous fangs. Then, she followed the fangs to locate the venom sacs and collected all the venom inside.
Looking at the collected venom, she noted it was quite a lot—a small bucketful.
Next were the Spider Legs.
Finally, Perry Yates took out a card. The front of the card depicted a water tank.
After using Ascension to upgrade the two-star card to three stars, a plain-looking water tank appeared in front of her.
Perry Yates cut an opening in the Xenomorph Black Widow’s abdomen. Instantly, a large amount of dark green, foul-smelling, and highly corrosive liquid gushed from the wound and flowed into the tank.
The large tank, which looked like an ordinary water container, was somehow able to take in the massive quantity of corrosive liquid without issue.
About five minutes later, all the acid from the Xenomorph Black Widow’s body had been collected. Inside the now-empty abdomen, Perry Yates also found the sac where the Xenomorph Black Widow stored its Spider Silk.
The Spider Silk the Xenomorph Black Widow shot out was toxic, but the unformed silk that hadn’t been ejected was safe. Moreover, it possessed extreme malleability and defensive strength.
After all, spider silk of the same thickness is stronger than a steel bar, to say nothing of a Xenomorph’s silk.
Because she had deliberately lured the creature a great distance from the Xenomorphs’ Hive, she now had time to collect these materials.
After stripping the Xenomorph Black Widow of everything valuable, Perry Yates casually tossed out a poker card and incinerated the remains.
