My Yandere Wives Keep Making Me Stronger

Chapter 89: A Week Later (2)

"You need not worry about your enrollment to the Aethel Academy. I have taken care of it," Seraphina said.

Lucien’s eyes brightened. "What do you mean?"

"Using my connection, I was able to enroll you in the academy," Seraphina said, instantly feeling proud as she saw the excited expression of her darling.

"It’s not your connection. It’s my connection I used," Lilith rebutted instantly.

"Who said so? What did you do?" Seraphina snorted.

"I said so, you bitch," Lilith said.

"What did you call me?"

Before one knew it, these two were almost already fighting. Their voices rose. Their auras flickered. The air in the room grew tense.

As for their husband, he was busy joyous about the fact he was enrolled, not minding the wives that were almost fighting each other.

He lay back on the bed, a small smile on his face. He had been worried about the academy. He had been worried about his future. But now, it seemed, his wives had already handled it.

He shook his head. He didn’t know whether to feel grateful or frustrated. They had caused the chaos, but they had also fixed it.

Typical Yanderes.

He let out a small sigh. Then he turned to look at them.

"Both of you, stop fighting," he said, his voice tired but firm. "You’re giving me a headache."

The two women froze. They turned to look at him. Their expressions softened instantly. Their auras calmed. Their rivalry faded.

"Sorry, darling," they said in unison.

Lucien sighed again. "Now, tell me about this enrollment."

Seraphina smiled. "Well, the principal agreed to accept you. As a special case."

Lilith nodded. "I helped too. But I’ll let her take the credit for now."

Seraphina glared at her. Lilith glared back.

Lucien rubbed his temples. Here we go again.

"So where are we?" Lucien asked, scanning his surroundings. This room was unfamiliar to him. With a blackout, the last location on his mind was the desolate land.

Both wives glanced at each other and giggled. "Why don’t you take a guess?"

Lucien froze, not expecting this kind of reply. He pouted. When did they learn to be in sync like that? He looked at them suspiciously.

"If I should guess right..." He glanced again at the room, noting some things. "We should be in the academy."

Both wives froze. It was their own time to be stunned. Then they smiled. "As expected of my darling."

They said at the same time, making Lucien chuckle.

Noting that they said this at the same time, they turned to each other with angry expressions.

"He’s my darling," Seraphina stated.

"No, he’s my darling," Lilith rebutted.

They started fighting like kids.

Lucien, their husband, felt helpless as he roared, "Enough!"

His shout alarmed them. They instantly stopped, turning to him with pouts.

"Don’t you guys ever get tired of fighting?" Lucien said in a helpless tone.

Both wives glanced at each other, with a gaze of "It’s your fault."

Lucien saw this and sighed. He rubbed his temples. His head was starting to ache again.

"Fine," he said, his voice flat. "I’ll just go back to sleep."

He closed his eyes and turned away from them.

Seraphina and Lilith exchanged a glance. Their rivalry faded, replaced by worry.

"Darling, we’re sorry," Seraphina said softly.

"We didn’t mean to upset you," Lilith added.

Lucien didn’t open his eyes. "I know. But I need some peace. Just for a moment."

The two women fell silent. They sat on either side of the bed, watching him. Their eyes were filled with love. With worry. With obsession.

But for now, they stayed quiet.

"Hahahaha, young man, how are you having it with these two troublemakers?"

A roaring laughter filled the room. Lucien was alerted as he opened his eyes. Seraphina and Lilith snorted at the same time, hearing this voice.

Lucien saw an old man standing at the doorway.

He was tall. His hair was pure white, flowing down his back like a river of silver. His face was lined with age, but his eyes were sharp, too sharp. They held the wisdom of centuries, the weight of countless years. His skin was wrinkled, but there was a vitality beneath it, a hidden strength that contradicted his frail appearance.

He wore simple robes, plain and unadorned. But even in their simplicity, they carried an air of authority. He looked like an ordinary mortal. A harmless old man.

Lucien’s eyes glowed as he recognised this ordinary old man. He had seen his image before from his brother and his research.

He was the Principal of Aethel Academy.

"Troublemakers?" Seraphina said, her voice dripping with indignation. "We’re not troublemakers."

The principal chuckled. "Oh, really? Then explain to me why my assessment ground is now a crater."

Lilith smiled sweetly. "It was an accident."

"An accident," the principal repeated, his voice flat. "You two destroyed an entire section of the desolate land, and it was an accident."

Seraphina shrugged. "We were just... expressing ourselves."

The principal pinched the bridge of his nose. "Expressing yourselves. Of course."

He turned to Lucien, his sharp eyes studying him. "Young man, you have my sympathy. Dealing with these two is a full-time job."

Lucien blinked. He didn’t know what to say. He just stared at the old man, his mind still catching up.

The principal smiled. "I’m glad you’re awake. I’ve been waiting to meet you."

He walked toward the bed, his steps slow but purposeful. His presence filled the room, even though his aura was hidden. He sat down on a chair beside the bed, his eyes never leaving Lucien.

"You’re the one they’ve been fighting over," he said. "The one who managed to gain their... attention."

Lucien’s voice was hoarse. "I didn’t ask for it."

The principal laughed. "No one ever does, young man. No one ever does."

He leaned back, his sharp eyes softening. "But I’ve seen the reports. Even though everything seems blank, from your surname, I am sure you are from that clan. Am I right?"

Lucien didn’t answer. He maintained his silence.

The principal nodded, as if understanding. "It’s alright. You don’t have to answer. I’ve known enough."

He stood up, his robes flowing around him. "Rest well. When you’re ready, come find me. We have much to discuss."

He turned to Seraphina and Lilith. "And you two... behave yourselves."

They both glared at him.

He laughed and walked out of the room.
