Chapter 337: Heartthirst Gu
In that instant, the color drained from Qin Tuo's face. He lost all interest in drinking.
The man opposite him was confused. He had downed his drink, yet Qin Tuo didn't react at all.
Nearby, Ouyang Tianqi, Chen Wenxiong, and the others watched Qin Tuo with puzzlement, wondering why he had suddenly frozen in place as if entranced.
Suddenly, Qin Tuo tossed his wine glass aside, stood up without a word, and started to leave.
Someone immediately asked,
"Mr. Qin, what's wrong? Why are you leaving so suddenly?"
But Qin Tuo had no time to explain. Without saying a word, he rushed straight to the window.
Then, right in front of everyone, he jumped out the window from over ten stories up!
Everyone cried out in alarm and rushed to the window.
They then saw Qin Tuo land steadily on the ground from more than ten stories up, accelerate in an instant, and vanish from sight.
The sight left everyone stunned!
"My God, did we just see a living deity? That was terrifying!"
Everyone was once again reminded of how frighteningly powerful Qin Tuo was. What he did was completely beyond the capabilities of a normal human.
As Qin Tuo sprinted, he whipped out his phone and frantically called Chen Man Ni.
Chen Man Ni was in her room, her face a mask of anxiety. When she answered the call, her voice trembled.
"Qin Tuo, hurry back! I... I'm scared!"
Hearing Chen Man Ni's voice, Qin Tuo's heart clenched. He quickly tried to reassure her.
"Manni, don't be scared. Tell me what's happening."
Chen Man Ni did her best to calm herself and said slowly,
"They're outside the door. I'm in the room, and I don't know how long I can hold out. Qin Tuo, please hurry back! I'm so scared!"
Qin Tuo's heart burned with anxiety. He asked again,
"Manni, do you know who they are?"
As he spoke, Qin Tuo pushed himself to run even faster.
With his Spiritual Power circulating wildly, his speed reached its limit. He was like a black shadow streaking through streets and alleys, rushing toward Half Moon Bay.
Chen Man Ni thought for a moment before responding.
"I just heard them. They said they were from the Blood Moon Pavilion. I've barricaded the door. What do I do now?"
Qin Tuo heard the desperation in her voice, but he also knew that the Master-Protecting Jade Pendant had just activated to block an attack for her.
'By his calculations, the Master-Protecting Jade Pendant should hold for a little while longer,' he thought. 'I should be able to make it to the villa in time.'
So, Qin Tuo said in a serious tone,
"Manni, don't worry. I'm almost there!"
Hearing the conviction in his voice, Chen Man Ni felt a wave of relief.
But just as she hung up, she heard continuous, heavy impacts against the door.
Clearly, the Left and Right Protectors of the Blood Moon Pavilion were trying to force their way in!
"Heh, does this little wench really think we can't get to her just because she's hiding in a room?"
The lust in the Left Protector's eyes hadn't faded. Even though he'd been injured, his core strength was still intact.

The Right Protector joined in, but even under their combined assault, the door didn't budge an inch.

The Left Protector considered this, then said grimly,
"It seems this kid, Qin Tuo, is not to be underestimated. To think he could refine such a powerful protective Spiritual Artifact."
The Right Protector nodded. After that series of attacks, he too could deeply sense how formidable this protective Spiritual Artifact was.
The Left Protector said pensively,
"It would be wonderful if this kid could join our Blood Moon Pavilion and work for us!"
Clearly, after witnessing Qin Tuo's capabilities, even he was tempted to recruit such talent.

This was the dreaded Heartthirst Gu, which could directly control a person's thoughts and turn them into a puppet.
This Gu Insect was the Left Protector's trump card. With it, he was absolutely certain he could make Qin Tuo submit.

The Right Protector, however, was eager to break down the door and capture Chen Man Ni.
He urged his partner,

Instantly, a terrifying aura gathered between his hands, coalescing into sharp blades that looked ready to shred the door.
Even inside the room, Chen Man Ni could feel that terrifying power building. Her heart pounded with such tension that she felt she could barely breathe.
'Qin Tuo, why aren't you here yet?'
Chen Man Ni was on the verge of tears, feeling her composure about to shatter completely.
But just then, Qin Tuo finally arrived at the villa!

Qin Tuo smashed the front door off its hinges and appeared in the living room.

The Right Protector quickly dissipated the magic in his hands, his expression twisting into a cruel sneer.

The Left Protector slowly advanced, his fists clenched tight.
But they were both keenly aware of Qin Tuo's power and mentally braced themselves for a fight.
Qin Tuo's voice, as cold as death, dripped with menace as he spoke.
"You two have a lot of nerve, coming to my turf to cause trouble. Get the hell out of here, now!"
