The Vampire Prince's Blindfolded Bride

Chapter 65: How did you survive

"What happened?" Alora’s heart almost jumped out in fear as she thought again a werewolf attacked them. Magnus realized there were some vampires around the carriage. They must have gotten Alora’s scent.

"I will check," Magnus opened the door’s latch to step out when Alora held the edge of his sleeve, thus stopping him from exiting. "Don’t go. Instead, let me go."

"There’s no danger outside. Trust me," Magnus asserted and put her hand away. He exited the door and closed it from outside, not wanting Alora to come out.

Magnus noticed the three vampires around the carriage and went toward one of them, who was at the backside. He peered into this young vampire’s eyes and compelled him. "Go home." The moment Magnus said that the young vampire left the place.

Before the second one could open the door, Magnus held her hand. This one was a female vampire and she showed her fangs to Magnus. When he brought his real face out, the young female vampire timidly moved away from him and disappeared into the forest.

However, the third one couldn’t be seen anywhere. Magnus wondered if he had run away and went to the front. Magnus asked the coachman to drive the coach fast to the residence. He was quick to get inside the coach, where Alora was seated.

"Some young vampires had come because of your scent. This region belongs to the vampires," Magnus explained to his wife. Once again the carriage had begun to move at its full speed.

"My scent is that strong?" Alora was surprised to learn that.

"No. Because you were the only human in the vicinity, that’s why it attracted some young vampires," Magnus answered.
