The Vampire Prince's Blindfolded Bride

Chapter 64: Back to the residence

Magnus pressed his finger against Alora’s lips and asked her to not speak about Venus anymore. "We don’t have to do anything with those wolves," he stated with annoyance.

As he withdrew his finger, Alora asked him how would they tell them about Venus’s family truth to their parents.

"Did you not hear Eugene? He said it was their personal matter. So, I will tell your grandmother and mother to talk to Venus by themselves. We aren’t going to meddle in their family. And you have to listen to me. Don’t make me compel you to follow my order," Magnus affirmed and went ahead of her.

Alora sighed and followed him inside. To her surprise, her father and brother had returned from work after hearing about Venus’s disappearance. But soon, she learned that they had returned from Venus’s in-laws home.

"Your Highness, you and Alora returned late," said Madam Aubrey as they all left their seats. Norman and Elliot greeted them with a respectful gesture.

Rhea came to Alora and asked her how Venus looked.

"Did Norman not tell you?" Magnus questioned and glanced at him. "Why don’t you tell your wife and mother that your daughter is no longer sane enough? All she does is an insult. I feel like hanging her to death every time she disrespects Alora," he blurted out and took away Alora from there.

Rhea was shocked to see the angry Magnus and gazed at her husband.

"To us, she looked normal. I think Venus didn’t like Alora’s involvement in her family matter. Also, Venus hadn’t run away from the house. She wanted to be alone after she had an argument with Eugene," Norman stated.

"But the news has spread in the entire city. How are we supposed to answer the people? Can Venus not handle her household?" Madam Aubrey showed concern and told Norman to bring Venus home tomorrow.

"Mother, that is not a good idea. People will talk more about us," Norman asserted.
