Chapter 356: Interesting Grand-Daughter

“Alright, but Father, you know the internal rules and laws, most of which were established by you.”

Sato said in a resigned tone, his voice carrying a hint of acceptance because he knew that his father had thought of everything.

Dan looked at his son with a smile. He found himself enjoying teasing this son, so he said:

“It’s fine. Just tell her in the future that one of the conditions she must fulfill for us to approve her request is that she complete her test, defeat all the candidates in her branch, and win the position of princess before giving it up.”

Sato thought about his father’s words and the real reason behind setting this condition. His extraordinary mind quickly connected all the pieces together. Then he raised his head and found Dan smiling at him, clearly enjoying himself. Dan then explained:

“Yes, it is exactly as you concluded. After she marries, her blood will be sealed, and she will have to give up her position as princess in accordance with the rules, especially since marriage outside the family is forbidden. That will be the price she pays to obtain what she wants.”

Dan then continued, his voice carrying a hint of hidden regret:

“Actually, if that child wanted to marry her and join our family, it would be better. But unfortunately, that is impossible, because that child will not give up his allegiance. So, so that she doesn’t see me as some evil old ancestor who separates two young people in love, this will be the best approach. I will leave the choice to her and make her the one who gives up the position instead of forbidding her from doing so.”

Sato replied after a period of silence:

“Yes, this method may be the best.”

Dan answered him, his smile still firmly in place:

“She will lose her position as princess, and her blood will be sealed. As for the real reason I set the condition that she must first win the position of princess before giving it up, it is because in the future, I want to make her granddaughter a candidate for the position of princess.”

Dan then looked at Sato and laughed as he said:

“So rejoice, child. In the future, you will have a very powerful granddaughter from your bloodline, with excellent qualifications and a truly interesting personality.”

Sato sighed in resignation, especially because he felt that the final part concerning her personality seemed amusing to his father, as if it were some kind of prank. Then he said:

“As you wish, Father, as long as the matter does not violate the rules too much.”
