I opened my eyes, only to see a red and cloudy sky. The land below us had become a prey to drought. There was no wind here.

The smell that hit my nostrils was of sulphur. I saw the barrier grid already erected and that.

[CANDIDATE AUTHOR FOUND] a black and completely different screen appeared in front of me.

"Open Archive" I had a bad premonition so I said.

"Stat Window" I yelled.

I fell on my knees.

And then the window appeared again.

[Serin's POV]

"The color of Fog is also its measure of grade" I read from the slide.

"How many types of colors have we found till now professor?" one student asked me.

"Four: White, Orange, Cyan, Red." I said.

"What happens if we discover a fog event with no known color?" Another asked.

"The possibility is low, but we will know through the values of Serilian pattern beforehand so there is no need to worr-".

I stopped in middle as my band buzzed.

I went out of the class and saw an emergency message from Louis.

'If you are reading this message come to Monitoring Laboratory as soon as possible' said the message.

I frowned. If the message was from Louis it had to be something serious.

"Class Dismissed" I went inside and took my belongings leaving for the Eastern Wing.

When I went outside a van was already waiting for me which only confirmed one thing.

"Something had terribly gone wrong" I muttered to myself hurrying towards the laboratory gate.

I put my hand on the scanner and gate opened.

Inside everyone was in panic.

Someone was running from this corner to that corner tripping two times on his laces.

Someone was talking with three telephone receivers simultaneously.

I kept walking finally reaching the inner part 'GEO SANCTUM' said the glowing name plate.

I pushed the dark door open.

The cool air of conditioner reaching me and the heavy atmosphere pressing down upon me.

The people here were very few but everyone had serious expression on their faces.

The sanctum was hemispherical covered with large screens showing different geographic locations with graphs of symptom reading just beside them.

"What is happening?" I asked.

Louis was the first one to turn around, his expression brightening a bit after seeing me.

I put my hands on the table and saw the abnormal readings on the graph.

Louis stood beside me and gave me a summary of what happened.

"Something had gone wrong with Munich Fog event-" he started.

I stiffened, the face of a young boy came in my mind.

"-the expected color of fog was white or 3rd grade. When it descended however-" as he continued, I could feel my heartbeat getting louder.

"-the color started to change after some time of descent and the environment began to act strangely.

"What is the current color of the fog?" I asked.

Louis looked at me and said

"Black"

"You may look up" a voice boomed.

"Huh?" I looked up.

"Daniel and Humayu" said a middle aged man sitting on an expensive chair with a tired expression.

"The fate of Parshara Kingdom is in your hands now. No matter the demands, make sure to come back with the alliance letter."

He stepped down, his red thick cloak touching the ground.

He reached in front of us, unsheathed his sword and placed in on my shoulder.

"May the spirit of Aezion be with you" he said

I nodded since the room didn't allow for me to ask 'What the hell?'

But then everything paused and the world became black and white.
