I Survived in Anbu to Become Super Kage
Chapter 168: I Acknowledge Your Ability
Purple Cat finished setting up the secret signals near the reef and returned to Yako's side.
Seeing Fox staring blankly at the sea, she asked, "What's wrong, Captain?"
"It's nothing. Just thinking about the past," Yako said.
"Before you joined the Anbu, I started out as an ordinary Anbu ninja under Captain Antelope.
"Back then, our squad patrolled the coasts of the Land of Whirlpools and the Land of Waves.
"Every mission felt like it could get us killed, and the truth is, it did.
"Kakugyu died. The Anbu who wore your mask before you died. Captain Antelope died.
"My squadron captain, Brown Bear, died too.
"My next captain, Black Ape, lost both his arms and had to retire due to his injuries.
