Yellow Dog felt that Fox was becoming more and more reliable.
Lately, out of the three squadrons under Yellow Dog's command, the Fox Squadron had the lowest casualty rate.
A low casualty rate meant that the strength of these Anbu ninjas was growing.
Age was also a part of strength.
If a ninja could live to be thirty, their experience alone would make them an outstanding squad commander.
"Captain," Yako continued, "I saw a large group of puppet masters gathering in the Land of Wind. Their movements are suspicious. I suspect they plan to set sail from Shabo Harbor and take a sea route to bypass our front lines and strike at the rear of Konoha's forces."
"Hmm?" Captain Yellow Dog glanced at the map hanging nearby and said, "If they take a sea route... it's highly likely they will sail upstream along the Shirano River in the western part of the Land of Rivers.
"Fox, write up a detailed mission report first, then head over to the Command Headquarters tent."
By the time Yako entered the Command Headquarters tent, he found Nara Shikaku and Hatake Sakumo looking terrible. To say their faces were livid would not be an exaggeration.
