After completing the mission to execute several Nara ninjas, Yako received the mission to rescue Nara Umeka, just as he had in his previous life.
Yako set out with the White Sheep Squad. They feigned wandering aimlessly, but in reality, they headed straight for the lumberyard he had visited in his past life.
Outside the lumberyard, several timber merchants were lined up, waiting to enter and haul away wood.
Nara Umeka had forged an identity as a timber merchant for herself. She sat inside a covered carriage, followed by a caravan of ten camels.
She frowned as she pondered what she had seen and heard over the past few days. She worried not only that the Nara clan's scandal might be exposed, but also for her own safety.
She had originally set out to investigate the Sand ninjas' imitation of the paragliders. However, she was discovered and pursued relentlessly. Her teammates had sacrificed themselves, and she had been forced deep into the Land of Wind.
There, she discovered an anomaly in the yellow ironwood market. For Konoha's sake, she had no choice but to throw herself into a new investigation.
