Chapter 148: Puppet Masters on the Move
Yako walked up to the guest rooms on the second floor and found the room where Nara Umeka had once stayed.
Phasing through the wall using the Earth Release: Underground Projection Fish Technique, Yako caught the scent of cheap perfume.
A disheveled man and woman lay on the bed.
Yako ignored them, searching the room for secret codes.
He felt along the underside of the table and, sure enough, found some indentations.
Bending down for a closer look, he confirmed they were indeed secret codes of the Nara Clan.
Soon after, he found a second and third set of codes hidden elsewhere in the room.
'What a hassle,' he thought. 'I actually have to rearrange the three sets to decipher them.'
Right then, the woman on the bed woke up.
