Inside the Commander-in-Chief's tent, Yako met with Nara Shikatsuno.
Nara Shikatsuno stared down at the map, his brow tightly furrowed. The course of the war remained unclear.
Upon seeing Fox, he immediately smiled.
"Copper Fox. After you successfully covered the retreat at Shabo Harbor last time, I wanted to commend you in person. Unfortunately, I've been too busy and never found the time."
"You've been working hard, Commander-in-Chief," Yako said. "Time is short. Regarding the rescue of Jonin Nara Umeka, do you have any specific instructions?"
Nara Shikatsuno said, "I'm giving you a scroll. It contains the Nara clan's unique cipher system. You can only read these codes in front of me; you cannot take the scroll with you."
Yako took the scroll and glanced at it, finding the cipher extremely complex.
Unlike standard codes that relied on the three elements of direction, distance, and time, the Nara clan's cipher had six.
These six elements were paired up and scattered across a certain area.
