As soon as the battle ended, Yako immediately went to find Yellow Dog.
Yellow Dog and Kato Dan were covered in dirt. At their feet lay the corpse of an Elite Jonin of the Hidden Stone Village.
Yako marveled inwardly. Yellow Dog truly lived up to his rank as one of the Anbu's six captains; his strength was formidable.
Seeing Fox approach, Yellow Dog stepped away from Kato Dan, leading Fox a short distance away to speak.
"Fox, reinforcements from the village will arrive soon.
"You, Purple Cat, and the rest of the brigade are to remove your masks and pose as ordinary ninjas. Spread the word of Lord Danzo's heroic deeds.
"Lord Danzo, our Anbu Commander, has been laying this trap for the Hidden Stone Village for half a year. He used Uzumaki Mito's failing health as a smokescreen and the Uzumaki princess's arrival in Konoha as bait.
