Chapter 356: Scared a Little Girl to Tears
Chu Yunze came out carrying a plate of freshly baked rose biscuits, instantly drawing the gazes of both Chu Deming and Chu Zhengwei.
Especially Chu Zhengwei. He was still waiting to see Lu Cheng’s wife, yet the first thing to emerge was a plate of small biscuits.

Gao Ruolan was too modest to take credit, which is why she only said she *kept* Shen Nian company, not that she made them *with* her.

However, Shen Nian didn’t question it at that moment. If Lu Cheng told her to say it, she would. He must have his reasons.
"Hello, Grandpa. I’m Shen Nian."
Chu Zhengwei caught the silent exchange between Shen Nian and Lu Cheng and nodded to himself in approval.
