I Have a God Simulator

Chapter 219 - 213: Battle of the Gods

Isabel had previously reported that some members of the Yao Clan had accidentally entered this world and clashed with the Imperial Army.

After the Martial Cultivators arrived, the Blood Knights confined them to the front lines, preventing them from further influencing the main battlefield. At the same time, Luh Yao temporarily closed the world’s border, where Corrupters and Dark Worms stood guard, preventing anyone from approaching.

Luh Yao was deeply gratified to see Yan Jiu’s fighting form, like one man against a hundred.

This was an Extraordinary Being the Yao Race had cultivated themselves, and he was constantly breaking through the existing limits of humanity.

Of the other two, Tie Sai benefited greatly even just by observing the war, which sparked a surge of creativity within him.

Luh Yao transformed Tie Sai into a Hero.

In the portrait, a scruffy, middle-aged man sat on a rock. He was handing a painting to a pitch-black Wuzi beside him, who had golden eyes. The Wuzi, in turn, offered him a stone sculpture.

Both were smiling.

The caption beneath his portrait read:

—The darkness will eventually fade, and the dawn will be beautiful.

...

...

After receiving the power bestowed by the God, an exclamation mark appeared over Tie Sai’s head.

He immediately knelt and said piously, "Great Lord God, thank you for granting me eyes to see the truth and hands with which to paint."

"Peace and stability come at such a great cost. I will never forget this, and I will use my art to share what I have seen with everyone."

In the Pixel World, many had grown accustomed to a comfortable life and began seeking thrills. There was no shortage of adventurous little figures courting death everywhere.

Luh Yao thought.

’This might be an opportunity to get many of these restless little figures to settle down.’

...

Luh Yao shifted his focus back to the main battlefield.

The Fearless Empire’s eleven legions had launched an all-out assault, aiming to destroy Uda City in one fell swoop. They clearly knew that King Wuzi’s Divine Palace was beneath the city.

However, the reason for their sudden all-out assault was a logistical failure.

The grain supply line had been severed by the Dark Black Water Striders dispatched by Juvenile Dragon Pasha. Against the militia-run supply convoys, the Black Water Mites were invincible. They easily routed the soldiers and devoured the wheat and pumpkins.

Farther to the rear, in the Bos God Realm, the Bully Locusts wreaked havoc, devouring nearly all the farmland outside Crystal City and causing the Empire’s entire food supply network to collapse in a short period.

Panic gripped everyone within Crystal City.

The Imperial legions had to take Uda City as quickly as possible; otherwise, their expedition would be a total failure.

Due to the Empire’s extremely unbalanced economy, the moment its logistics and food supply were cut, the seemingly unstoppable Imperial war machine ran out of fuel and shuddered to a halt.

This was a result Luh Yao had anticipated.

What surprised him was the Bos God’s composure.

He had lost three Apostles in succession, yet He paid it no mind, launching no investigations or retaliatory actions.

When famine struck His army and the Empire’s rear, He likewise looked on with cold indifference, revealing no weakness.

Luh Yao grew wary.

’This guy is a ruthless one. He must have some kind of ace up his sleeve.’

’Still, with only the Bully Locusts and the Dark Black Water Striders as evidence, the Bos God could at best only suspect the [Whistleblower], especially since the Black Water Mite also had the [Clan] designation.’

He would be unable to discover Luh Yao’s existence.

That was why Luh Yao had demanded that King Wuzi must act as bait. Dragging out the war would be detrimental to both sides.

This time, King Wuzi acted with decisive courage.

Upon receiving Luh Yao’s command, He immediately stepped forward and revealed His Divine Body.

In appearance, King Wuzi was a black, conical mountain, with a head wearing a bull’s skull emerging from its peak. His feet were merged with the earth, yet His body was as pliable as clay, gliding over the ground without the slightest resistance.

The bull skull-shaped structure on His head was, in fact, King Wuzi’s Divine Palace.

The moment King Wuzi appeared, He began to purge the Imperial Army. He raised His hand, and sharp Stone Spears erupted from the ground, inflicting heavy casualties on the enemy forces.

However, the Imperial Army displayed an incomprehensible fanaticism. Brandishing their spears and swords, they charged madly toward a God they had no hope of defeating.

Each one seemed to have gone mad, screaming:

"For the God!"

"Slay the Evil God!"

"Let our lives be the flame that burns away evil!"

"We sacrifice our lives! A tribute to the great Bos God!"

Luh Yao noticed that a [Fanatical Sacrifice] status bar had appeared above each of their heads.

...

[Sacrifice]: Produces Fire of Faith when fighting Heretics. If the target is a God or an Apostle, this transforms into [Fanatical Sacrifice], making the user fearless. Death will ignite a large amount of Fire of Faith.

...

’No wonder.’

Waging a war of faith, the Imperial Army was already providing the Bos God with a great deal of additional Faith. Soldiers dying on the battlefield, in turn, brought Him even more Fire of Faith.

Luh Yao reckoned that the Bos God was probably hoping more of his soldiers would die.

It would both reduce food consumption and generate additional Faith.

As long as he could ultimately annex the Wuzi Kingdom, kill King Wuzi, and seize his Artifacts and Divine Body, it would be the perfect outcome for him.

Thousands of soldiers threw themselves into the fray like moths to a flame, dying one by one to the Divine Power.

Luh Yao observed patiently from the shadows.

After more than half of the eleven legions had fallen, the Bos God finally emerged from the shadows.

To Luh Yao’s slight surprise, the Bos God had been hiding among the Imperial Army all along, disguised as an ordinary-looking soldier.

An [Engaged in Combat] notification appeared above both his and King Wuzi’s heads.

Luh Yao immediately switched to the battle screen.

In the battle scene, the towering King Wuzi, who resembled an arched mountain range, faced a lone soldier. Behind this small figure, however, was a constantly shifting, illusory silhouette.

[Divine Format]: Yes.

[Divinity]: Humble as an Ant (51,033).

[Divine Body]: Gods Tier (319,712).

...

Luh Yao noticed a pattern with these two Gods.

Once a god reached the tier of the Gods, the strength of their Divine Body—their Life Value—was determined by the size of their Believer population. It was a direct correlation: population equaled physical form.

In a direct confrontation, King Wuzi would simply be subjected to the Bos God’s Crystalization Extraction and other abilities, reduced to nothing more than another of his trophies.

The only thing the Bos God feared was King Wuzi’s Miracle.

This one ability was the most critical factor for both sides.

Now, with their Divine Bodies clashing directly, the Bos God quickly gained the absolute upper hand after a few probing attacks, hammering King Wuzi until red damage numbers popped up continuously. It looked like King Wuzi wouldn’t last much longer.

Luh Yao activated the [Apostle Soul Seal], summoning the Lv. 99 Forrest to support King Wuzi.

He immediately gave orders to the Blood Knight, Selena, and the Snowman.

"Go!"
