I Have a God Simulator

Chapter 212 206: We Are Here to End the War

Unlike the Yao Race World, the Wuzi Kingdom was filled with rocks, sand, and mud. Vegetation was especially scarce, and more than half of its territory consisted of deserts and mountains.

King Wuzi had no idea that his Divine Kingdom was being enveloped by the gaze of another God.

This confirmed Luh Yao's expectations.

The Main God Space and the Mythical Miracle were indeed the real deal; they could even connect to other worlds without a sound.

Isabel continued, "King Wuzi, we would like to make a deal."

"We wish to bring a portion of the Wuzi People to our world—rest assured, it is only to ensure the diversity of races in our world."

The Wuzi People were natural underground guides and expert miners. In the peaceful and stable system of the Yao Race Civilization, their talents and potential would quickly be realized.

Besides, as long as he had the Wuzi People, he would also get the related technology for the Earth Traveling Boat. It was a buy-one-get-one-free deal.

Luh Yao had his sights set on this.

A dialogue box appeared above the Earth Golem's head: "And what can you offer?"

Isabel said, "We will end the war."

"End the war..."

The Earth Golem fell silent for a moment. "You killed Apostle Shane, which is enough to prove your outstanding individual capabilities. I only recently entered the Divine Hall of the Gods and have but a rudimentary understanding of Divine War, but I know that once one begins, it will not stop unless one side becomes a vassal or is completely destroyed."

He continued, "Now that our two worlds are partially connected, Bos God's Believers are invading and slaughtering the Wuzi People on a massive scale. The Empire's soldiers have seized large swaths of my territory. They are building altars everywhere and trying to forcibly convert the Faith of the Wuzi People. Many of my people have been captured and killed..."

King Wuzi expressed his concern, which Luh Yao could understand.

Studying the world encyclopedia had given Luh Yao a deeper understanding of this Divine War.

The conventional method of Divine War was a war of attrition, not the blitzkriegs and direct assaults on Divine Statues that he was used to. Even the experienced Bos God, facing the clearly weaker King Wuzi, was being cautious and methodical.

It was somewhat like a game of chess, where the kings never meet face-to-face.

There were two key reasons for this: first, there was no information gap between the two sides, and second, it was to maximize the spoils of war.

When two Gods from the Divine Hall of the Gods went to war, it was difficult for either side to fully grasp the other's Divinity and Divine Body Traits, let alone the Artifacts and Miracle effects they possessed, so they were both extremely cautious. The Gods would engage in a series of probes before launching an all-out offensive.

Someone like Luh Yao, who possessed the True Sight Curse, was clearly a rare exception.

The purpose of a Divine War was to seize strategic resources.

The most direct resources were population and Faith. Since population generated Faith, capturing people was also the most important form of plunder.

They would seize as many people as possible, then find ways to convert their Faith to obtain a continuous supply of the Fire of Faith, creating a long-tail effect. Even if these people remained obstinate, they would become the foundation for nurturing the next generation, which was also quite good.

Other spoils of war included various rare resources, such as a world's unique mineral deposits, technologies, culture, and even various species that could generate profit.

In the early stages of the war, Bos God had given King Wuzi a very direct ultimatum.

Either go to war, and this world would be destroyed.

Or surrender and become Bos God's Subordinate God and vassal.

Just as King Wuzi was attempting to negotiate further with Bos God, his Insight allowed him to see through the other's plot.

Soldiers of the Fearless Empire were already spreading propaganda everywhere, claiming that King Wuzi was about to become Bos God's Subordinate God, causing panic among the Wuzi People and sapping their will to resist.

Among the Wuzi People, King Wuzi was a mature Wise Man, but among the Gods, he was a newcomer, naive to the ways of the world.

Facing the experienced Bos God, he was completely suppressed, both on the battlefield and in terms of strategy.

A cloud of war and panic hung over this world.

The crisis was no longer just the invasion by the Fearless Empire; the Wuzi People were also beginning to break down from within.

Many of his people could not bear the Fear and pressure. They either fled underground to hide in what they thought were uninhabited areas, or they surrendered directly to the powerful enemy, trading their Faith for safety.

King Wuzi had also considered the path of vassalage.

"Unfortunately, that is not an option either."

"My other Apostle, the Sandman Yater, took a great risk to infiltrate the capital of the Fearless Empire. There, he discovered that Bos God did not treat his prisoners well. Instead, he used the Wuzi People as materials to create weapons and altars."

"Yate'er learned that Bos God has been constantly waging wars of conquest. He once had two Subordinate Gods, but they both disappeared in the end... There are stone carvings in the Empire that clearly record how the laziness of these two Subordinate Gods angered Bos God. He turned them into altars, using their Divine Bodies to ignite the Fire of Faith."

"Yate'er paid with his life to obtain this valuable intelligence."

"Bos God is an incredibly fanatical Conqueror. War is his method of ruling the world."

The Earth Golem paused for a moment.

"I do not know where you come from, but as the God of this world, I thank you for your goodwill. However, ending the war... may not be so easy..."

Isabel waited patiently for him to finish before she spoke. "As a show of our sincerity, we've also brought a welcoming gift."

"Bos God's two Apostles, Yanihu and Karlo, will no longer cause any trouble for you or the Wuzi People."

An exclamation mark popped up above the Earth Golem's head.

"You... killed a total of three Apostles?"

He thought for a moment. "As a gift in return, I will give you the technology for the Earth Traveling Boat."

"This underground vehicle can only be built by the Wuzi People, and its pilot must also be one of the Wuzi People. This is because a key internal component requires [Wu], which allows the Earth Traveling Boat to continuously ingest and dissolve sand and mud, propelling the vessel forward."

Luh Yao had seen the structure and animated diagrams of the Earth Traveling Boat in Rule Repair, where its detailed principles and various methods of movement were also described.

But he knew that theory was useless; the pixelated little people within the world had to be able to understand and build it.

The simplest and most effective way was to have the Wuzi People who mastered the technology teach it.

King Wuzi was not Lying.

"Please take some of the children with you. They are young, but they know how to build and operate the Earth Traveling Boats. This way, we can preserve some of the Wuzi Kingdom's bloodline."

He selected a group of young Wuzi People and had them take the [Wu], wrapped in a Stone Box and Black Mud, and leave with Isabel and her companion.

Before leaving, Isabel said, "Since you are now cooperating with us, please be patient for a while. Try to avoid direct confrontation with Bos God's forces. Preserve your Power of Faith and your population. Delay, harass, and stretch their front lines as much as possible. We need a little time, but it won't be long."

"Using this city as the starting line, the counterattack will begin here."

...

As he watched the Apostles of unknown origin depart, a white figure slowly coalesced on the ground.

King Wuzi looked at the loyal Earth Golem behind him. "Zelkuku, did I make the wrong decision?"

"Lord God would never be wrong."

The Apostle said firmly.

'Is that so?'

King Wuzi sighed.

His war was already over. From the very beginning, Bos God had held a firm grip on the situation, and there was nothing he could do to turn the tide of defeat.

For a God, there was nothing more despairing than being powerless.

He wasn't a worthy God; he couldn't even protect his own Believers.

He didn't place his hopes on these outsiders, who were hard to distinguish as friend or foe. Begging for the pity of others would not grant them the space to survive. The Earth Traveling Boats created by the Wuzi People were the true value and foundation of their survival.

The cruel war had sobered King Wuzi from the praises of his Believers.

'Those past years of Stagnation and sloth... what a pity, what a shame.'

The Wuzi Kingdom could have been a rich and powerful world. More creations like the Earth Traveling Boat and Black Mud would have been born. More cities like Uda City would have stood upon the land. More Wuzi People would have been born and grown into Heroes... But because of his own indifference to worldly affairs, it had led to the current situation where they were being freely humiliated by the enemy.

'This is probably my punishment.'

'I became a God through good luck, and in the end, I'll be stripped of it by bad luck.'

Now, as the sole God of this world, he would make his final stand.
