I Have a God Simulator

Luh Yao kept reminding himself not to judge a book by its cover.

But this ball... was just one of those exceptionally ugly balls.

What did it look like?

It was neither pure white nor smooth. It lacked any geometric beauty in the mathematical sense, nor did it have the overbearingly imposing aura of the previous Skeleton Dominator Whale.

It reminded Luh Yao of a dung beetle’s ball of crap.

If you were to dye that ball of crap white and then roll it around in dirt and sand, you’d get what was in front of him now.

The large bone ball had many jagged protrusions, and its surface was not only coarse but also filled with fuzzy-looking cracks. Judging by the pixelated graphics of the simulator, it just looked like a mud ball made of Guanyin Earth.

Luh Yao was a little surprised. Its stats weren’t actually that bad, it was just severely lopsided toward Defense.

The bones at the top of the Skeleton King Armor opened outward, and a skull popped out.

It was Philos.

He was now in Symbiosis with the Skeleton King Armor, serving as the brain and operator of this Skeleton Creature.

"Lord Yao God, the Skeleton King Armor is the strongest Skeleton Creature I have ever created!"

A smiley-face symbol appeared above the Skeleton Man’s head.

"The Giant this came from must have been of an extremely high Tier when it was alive. I’m so lucky to have found such a complete skeleton. Thank you for your favor!"

Luh Yao clicked on the [Skeleton King Armor] and found that he could indeed activate [Manual Mode].

He immediately took control.

Life Value and Mana Value bars appeared in the bottom-left corner, and three Active Skills slots appeared in the bottom-right.

Luh Yao moved the mouse and first clicked on [Bone Armor Impact].

Small spheres immediately shot out of the giant white ball. They scattered in all directions, turning into small bone-beasts.

They ran around, patrolling the area for a moment. Finding no enemies, they ran back one by one and burrowed back into the giant sphere.

Luh Yao understood.

This ability was basically self-replication, similar to how the Skeleton Dominator Whale split into Bone Fish. The skill set’s mechanics were the same. It was a bit like the Interceptors from a Protoss Carrier in StarCraft.

He then clicked [Whale Fall].

The entire Skeleton King Armor instantly disintegrated into a pile of white sand on the ground. These grains of sand turned into countless tiny worms, which scattered in every direction, each to its own devices.

Luh Yao selected them with the mouse and gathered them together. The numerous Skeleton Worms coalesced once more, re-forming the spherical shape of the Skeleton King Armor.

’A pretty good skill for running away.’

Finally, Luh Yao tried [King’s Armor Stance].

The white bone ball shook. From beneath its White Bone Armor, it extended four short, powerful limbs, a long, pointed head, and a flexible, rat-like tail.

In its King’s Armor Stance, the Skeleton King Armor’s Defense was greatly reduced, but it gained the [Drilling Holes] ability.

Luh Yao clicked on the ground next to it.

The bizarre-looking Skeleton Creature rapidly dug an opening with its claws, transforming into a giant drill and boring into the ground.

The icon for the [Skeleton King Armor] appeared underground. However, since the simulator didn’t display subterranean vertical layers, it was a bit difficult for Luh Yao to operate from a top-down perspective.

The absurd part was that the King Armor’s speed underground was the same as it was on the surface.

This Skeleton Creature clearly had super-high Defense, yet it specialized in escaping and Stealth.

Luh Yao began to see a pattern: all of the Skeleton King Armor’s skills were designed for a safe getaway!

The Skeleton King Armor was well-suited to be a scout.

Not only could it drill underground and move at night, but it also had astonishing Defense and could break itself down to retreat quickly. Its driver, Philos, was quite intelligent and could make quick judgments about the situation.

Upon receiving this glorious mission, Philos said, "Lord Yao God, your subordinate will definitely find the location of the Heterodox Evil God for you! Please await my good news!"

With that, the Skeleton Man drove the Heavy Giant underground and began its search.

The war had to be fought, but production and development couldn’t be neglected either.

Luh Yao turned his attention to the little pixel people.

After the establishment of the Twin Cities, Yao City and Yan City had become two cities with vastly different styles.

As the origin of the first Divine Hall, Yao City’s atmosphere of God worship had grown increasingly intense. Its citizens revered Theology and knowledge, and it had become a cultural Holy City.

Yao City built a special building, the [Divinity School]. The little people who went in and out of the Divinity School wore long robes, held copies of the "Divine Gospel," and could be seen giving lectures and debating with each other everywhere.

[The Wisdom of everyone in Yao City has increased by a certain amount.]

Luh Yao was both surprised and delighted.

’The school I’ve been hoping for has finally appeared!’

To be honest, Luh Yao had been tempted to cheat several times.

He could have easily passed on the concept and system of a school to the pixel people through Isabel, allowing them to quickly understand and apply it in the Pixel World...

But Luh Yao ultimately held back.

As his understanding of the simulator deepened, Luh Yao had seen the methods of different Divine Players.

Lisa was the warmongering type. She completely abandoned her tribe’s development, with all her actions aimed solely at squeezing out more Faith in the shortest possible time.

Prayer God treated the East Sea Clan as barracks for producing Sea Monsters, turning the tribe into a flesh factory.

Bright God adopted a paternalistic, overprotective approach toward his tribe, which caused the islanders to remain infantilized for a long time and ultimately become useless.

Yangwu God was slightly better, but his focus was also on strengthening his Faith Artifact. He was completely indifferent to population losses, which caused his civilization itself to stagnate.

These were all failed experiments right before his eyes.

At least in this Broken World, the results proved that their methods were all unworkable.

Luh Yao thought.

But he also had to accept their foolishness and growth, their rebellion and their surprises.

At that moment, Hemira was giving a speech outside the Divinity School.

She said to the Scholars, "We must prove that Yao City is the future for everyone, the true inheritor of the Divine Will."

"We will lead everyone forward, guiding them toward a glorious and abundant future. No matter what challenges we face, we will overcome them. Yao God is with us!"

"So, Scholars, announce your great discoveries!"

"Let that city next door, the one that stinks of money, understand what great and noble Wisdom truly is! Let them know why Yao City is God’s firstborn!"

Several notifications popped up in the simulator in succession.
