Promises That Will Be Fulfilled
Rangga slowly pushed open the hut's door and stepped outside.
His body was no longer covered by nothing more than the worn-out clothes that had already been torn several times.
The simple leather armor now covered most of his body. His shoulders were protected by thick layers of stitched leather, leather guards wrapped around his arms and shins, while the sturdy leather boots made his feet feel far more comfortable than before. A wide leather belt fastened the entire set snugly around his waist.
Rangga looked down and lightly patted his chest.
"Hmm... Fits pretty well."
He turned his body left and right, rolled his shoulders, then clenched both fists several times.
"Not too tight... Not heavy either."
Curious, Rangga immediately jogged around his hut.
Tap.
Tap.
Tap.
His steps remained light. The armor didn't hinder his movements at all.
He even picked up the pace, made a sharp turn past the Production Table, then ran back to the front of the house.
"Hahaha... This feels great!"
He stopped, slightly out of breath, before immediately grabbing the Composite Alloy Bow leaning against the hut's wall.
The wooden target he had been using for practice over the past few days was still standing in its place.
Rangga nocked an arrow. He drew the bowstring to its full length. Strangely, the movement felt much more comfortable now.
The leather shoulder guard absorbed the friction from the bowstring, while the arm guard kept his skin from stinging after repeatedly drawing the string.
"Now let's see..."
Swiit!
The arrow shot forward at incredible speed.
Thuk!
The arrow buried itself deep into the exact center of the wooden target once again. Rangga grinned broadly. He immediately nocked a second arrow, then a third.
Each shot flowed even more smoothly than the last. No part of the armor got in the way. It didn't feel heavy at all. Instead, his body felt much better protected.
Rangga looked down at the leather boots covering his feet.
He immediately remembered the swamp mud from yesterday that had nearly made him slip several times.
"If I'd had these back then... walking through the swamp would've been way easier."
He looked over the entire set of equipment now covering his body once more.
For the first time since arriving in this strange world, Rangga truly felt like an adventurer.
His smile grew even wider.
"Damn... I've finally got armor too."
The moment he appeared on screen, millions of viewers watching the livestream fell silent for a brief moment.
The dark brown armor fit his body perfectly.
It was made from multiple sheets of tightly stitched leather, complete with leather arm guards and boots that protected nearly his entire lower body. One shoulder was decorated with small bones and fangs, giving him a much fiercer appearance than the ragged cloth outfit he had worn until now.
The comment section immediately exploded.
"Whoa... That looks awesome!"
"Damn, now he actually looks like a hunter."
"Looking even more handsome now, bro!"
"The armor fits the world perfectly."
"Now he looks like a real badass."
"This is straight-up a survival game protagonist."
"He changed this much in just one week?"
Even many overseas viewers flooded the comment section, discussing the design of the armor.

On the other side of the world, however, the atmosphere was completely different. In the conference rooms of several countries, the screen displaying Rangga immediately became the center of attention.
An analyst pointed at the screen.
"He's unlocked another new technology."
"This time, equipment."
The researchers immediately recorded every piece of information displayed on the System's blue screen.
The required materials. The necessary buildings. Even the production sequence.
One head of state spoke quietly.
"So protective equipment can also be crafted... and none of our Pioneers have it yet."
The room suddenly fell silent and everyone realized the same thing.
Until now, they had been focusing too much on food, buildings, and island upgrades. Yet combat equipment was just as essential for survival.
A moment later, one of the advisors raised his hand.
"Starting today... I propose that every development made by Rangga be analyzed separately."
Several people immediately turned toward him.
"Why?"
"Because so far, he's the one uncovering new information the fastest."
"New buildings... Blueprints... Ship upgrades... And now equipment."
"If we understand the steps he's taking, we can relay them to our own Pioneers during the next seven-day communication."
The proposal was immediately approved. Not just in one country. Across the world, similar decisions began to be made.
From that day onward, nearly every nation started treating every new discovery made by Rangga as their primary source of analysis.
Not because they wanted to help him but because every piece of information Rangga uncovered had the potential to save their own Pioneers.
Rangga let out a relieved sigh.
"Alright... Now for the house."
He opened his island status screen once again. His finger immediately selected House Upgrade. A blue screen appeared, displaying the required materials.
House Upgrade
Materials
30 Wood
20 Stone
50 Plant Fiber
10 Clay
Rangga looked at the pile of materials beside his hut, then smiled.
"Still got enough."
Without hesitation, he pressed Upgrade. All the required materials instantly transformed into light and floated toward the small hut.
Moments later, the entire building was enveloped in white light.
Rangga stepped back several paces while watching the transformation.
The wooden walls gradually expanded. The roof grew taller. The building nearly doubled in size.
A few seconds later, the light disappeared, and Rangga immediately walked closer.
"So... what's it like now?"
He opened the front door. The moment he stepped inside, his eyes widened.
"Whoa..."
The dirt floor, which had previously been covered only with bundles of grass, now looked much neater.
In one corner of the room sat a simple wooden bed with a thick woven plant-fiber mattress.
Not far from it stood a small wooden table and a single chair.
On the opposite side of the room was even a simple shelf for storing belongings.
Although all the furniture was still extremely basic, the place finally felt like a real home.
Rangga walked over to the bed. He pressed down on the woven mattress with his hand.
Soft.
Far more comfortable than sleeping directly on the ground. A wide smile immediately spread across his face.
"Now this... this is a real house."
He sat down on the wooden chair and looked around the room.
Although it was still empty and simple, the house now felt much more alive.
Rangga leaned back in the chair and nodded in satisfaction.
"Little by little... my island's finally becoming a real home."
Rangga stepped back outside his newly upgraded house. He stood in the small yard while looking over his entire island.
To the east stood the Production Table. To the west were now the Kiln and the Drying Rack.
His house had also become far more livable. Not far away, neatly organized piles of materials waited to be used.
Rangga smiled faintly.
"Little by little..."
His gaze then shifted toward the pile of Copper Ore. He remembered Putri's message from that morning.nThen the government's words.
And finally, the promise he had made.
"...I've gotta keep my promise... I'll send the best I can."
Rangga walked over to the pile of Copper Ore. He picked up five pieces before heading toward the Resource Transfer Point.
A blue screen immediately appeared.
Send Resources to Earth
0 / 5 kg
One by one, he placed the Copper Ore into the screen, and the capacity slowly filled until it reached its limit.
5 / 5 kg
Rangga stared at the confirmation button for a few seconds before pressing it.
The five pieces of Copper Ore instantly turned into light and disappeared.
Rangga nodded quietly.
"Hope it'll be useful."
That day, he didn't make anything else. His body was truly exhausted after spending the entire day exploring the swamp.
He returned inside the house. Took off his bow and equipment. Then lay down on his new bed.
Rangga let out a long breath.
"Pretty comfy..."
It didn't take long before his eyes slowly closed.
At the same time, the courtyard of the Garuda Presidential Palace was once again enveloped in light.
A few seconds later, five pieces of Copper Ore appeared. But as always, the System's multiplication effect immediately activated.
In an instant, the prepared courtyard was filled with an enormous pile of Copper Ore.
Five tons of Copper Ore.
The soldiers immediately moved to secure the area. Meanwhile, the researchers approached with excitement written all over their faces.
General Suryo stared at the mountain of Copper Ore for a few moments before shifting his gaze toward the screen showing Rangga, who had already fallen asleep.
A faint smile appeared on his face.
"Thank you, Rangga... You've kept your promise."
General Suryo stood up straight before the screen. In a quiet voice, as though speaking directly to the young man, he said,
"And in return... this nation will keep its promise as well."
"We will protect your little sister... until the day you return to bring her home yourself."
Not far beside him, President Prabu looked at the same screen. He nodded slowly.
"The Nation of Garuda will never break its promise to someone fighting for its people."
That night, in two different worlds, two promises had been made. And both sides were determined to keep them.
