Rangga's New Armor
Not long afterward, Rangga's boat finally docked once again at the pier of his home island. The moment he stepped off the boat, a blue screen appeared.

Rangga immediately selected Yes.
White light flooded the center of the island. A few moments later, everything he had gathered during the day's expedition materialized into neat piles.
Mangrove wood. Gotu Kola. Clay. Synthetic Fiber. Synthetic Hide. And the blueprint fragments he had collected.
Rangga smiled with satisfaction.
"Nice..."
Without wasting any time, he walked straight to his island's status screen. The building list appeared once more.
This time, he immediately selected Kiln. The required materials glowed before disappearing.
A few seconds later, a stone furnace slowly emerged from the fading light just west of his hut, its firebox opening facing forward.
Rangga walked over, his face filled with curiosity.
"Hopefully this thing lets me build a warehouse."
He touched the kiln, and another blue screen appeared.

Rangga slowly read the list. The farther he read the more his face twisted.
"...Wait... Copper ingots need charcoal?"
He looked back at the recipe.

He scratched his head.
"Hardwood... What the heck is that? I've never found any."
He crouched in front of the kiln, resting his chin on one hand while staring blankly at the cold firebox.
"Damn... Building a warehouse is way harder than I thought."
After sitting there in frustration for a while, Rangga finally let out a long sigh.
"Whatever... Maybe there's still something else I can make."
He suddenly remembered the three blueprint fragments he had obtained from the Mechanical Morganucodons.
Rangga immediately grabbed them and hurried to the Production Table.
With hopeful eyes, he placed all three fragments on top. They instantly emitted a golden light.
The light slowly merged together before disappearing completely.
Rangga swallowed nervously.
"Please... Don't tell me all I can build today is a kiln..."
He quickly opened the crafting menu and his eyes immediately lit up.
A brand-new recipe had appeared.

Rangga scratched his head.
"Huh... I've got everything... Except dried hide."

Rangga reopened the building menu. Moments later, his eyes landed on a structure he had completely overlooked.

Rangga looked toward his pile of materials.
"Perfect."
He immediately placed one animal hide onto the rack. Moments later, a dried hide appeared. He picked it up and placed another hide onto the rack.
Then another. And another. Until he finally had five dried hides in his hands.
Curiosity crept back into his mind.
"Hmm... Maybe I should upgrade it first."
Without thinking twice, he upgraded the Drying Rack..Light enveloped the structure once again.
When it faded away, the rack had grown larger with several additional shelves.
Rangga immediately opened its menu.

Rangga's eyes sparkled.

Without wasting another second, he gathered every tropical fruit he still had.
One by one, he placed them onto the drying rack. Soon, a sweet aroma filled the air as the fruit transformed into dried fruit that could be stored for much longer.
Once the process was complete, Rangga checked the results.

"At least now I don't have to rush to eat all my fruit."
After pacing around the island for a while, Rangga returned to the Production Table.
"Okay... Let's hope this works."
Without hesitation, he selected Simple Leather Armor. The required materials glowed one after another.
Synthetic Fiber. Synthetic Hide. Dried Animal Hide. Everything vanished from the resource piles.
Several seconds later, a soft golden light appeared above the Production Table.
Rangga swallowed. As the light faded, a complete set of leather armor rested neatly atop the table.
His eyes widened.
"Whoa..."
He immediately picked it up. A blue screen appeared.

A pair of tall leather boots lined with fur completed the outfit, giving it a rugged yet practical appearance.
The entire armor set looked simple wild and incredibly sturdy. Rangga couldn't stop smiling.
"Damn... This looks awesome."
He could already imagine how useful it would be while exploring dense forests or fighting mechanical creatures.
Without another thought, he immediately began taking off his old clothes.
His hand had just reached for his belt when he suddenly froze.

Slowly he turned his head toward the sky. A few seconds later, his entire face turned bright red.
"...Wait a second... This is still being livestreamed, isn't it?"
Rangga gave the sky an awkward grin.
"Hehe... Sorry... sorry..."
Clutching the leather armor against his chest, he immediately sprinted toward his hut.
"Door first... door first!"
A moment later the hut's door slammed shut.
Back on Earth, millions of viewers watching the livestream burst into laughter.
"HAHAHAHA! He finally remembered!"
"Good thing he realized in time!"
"I seriously thought he was about to change clothes outside!"
"Rangga just remembered the whole world was watching!"
"He ran so fast!"
Even inside the military dormitory, Putri covered her face while laughing.
"Mas... You're so embarrassing..."
The female officer standing beside her couldn't hold back her smile either as she watched Rangga panic after suddenly remembering that he was still being watched by the entire world.
