Chapter 174: Preparations
"Hmm! Ten blows?" Vaelor stroked his chin slightly. "I think you will withstand them if I play with you a little!"
"You know what? You are really disappointing!" Orion waved his hand in frustration, but he knew that Vaelor was right....
The difference between a mutated Heaven bloodline and a mutated Immortal bloodline was anything but simple, not to mention that Vaelor possessed the Power of Abyss and that terrifying law composed of three cosmic laws!
On top of all that, Vaelor possessed the Giant Treant form, a form that worked perfectly with the integrated Law of Genesis! Orion did not even want to stand in its presence!
"Forget about this." Orion waved his hand, then pointed toward Ayat. "Why hasn’t this girl awakened yet?"
"Her bloodline is only Heaven and her talent is inferior to yours, so you finished first. But she won’t remain like this for long!" Vaelor smiled and reassured Orion. Five minutes later, Ayat opened her eyes and clenched her fists happily. She waved her hands, and a gigantic cylindrical vortex of wind appeared above the royal garden. After making sure of its strength, she immediately dispelled the vortex and quickly bowed toward Vaelor!
"General Ayat is always at His Majesty’s service. We live for you and die in your place!"
"Come, stand up now, Ayat." Vaelor gestured toward her and allowed her to stand!
"Forgive my ignorance, Your Majesty, but may I ask what that change in the world just now was, and why didn’t the heavenly tribulation that occurs when breaking through to Level Four appear?!" Since she had been breaking through, all her focus had been on the breakthrough, and she had not listened to Vaelor and Orion’s conversation. But now that she had reached Level Four, her affinity with the world had increased further, and she had a few guesses, but she wanted to hear the confirmation from Vaelor.
"It is the signal!" Vaelor smiled with a cunning and savage expression that rarely appeared on his usually calm face, and spoke in a tone dripping with bloodlust that reminded everyone who heard it that he was a monster, not a human being. "The moment you have all been waiting for has finally arrived!"
Then he took two objects from his ring: a small blue box and a small metal card about half the length of a palm, covered with many strange symbols.
Ayat knew what this card was. It was one of the types of data storage cards that operated through the power of the soul and had been invented by His Majesty Vaelor.
The amount of information this card could store was enormous, while at the same time, the card was extremely secure, so the information inside it would only appear to those whom its owner allowed.
"What are these?" Ayat took the box and data card, opened the box, and her eyes widened. She then looked toward the data card and sent her spiritual sense inside it. After a few moments, she looked toward Vaelor in shock!
The small box was a spatial treasure containing one thousand blue pearls. As for the card, it contained the method of creating those pearls. Ayat was even more surprised when she found that all the materials used to create those pearls were only Level Two and Level Three materials at most!
Materials available in the City of Light or that they could easily search for in the nearby forests!
"My Liege, are we really going to start the invasion now?!" Ayat asked, feeling excited inside. This was the moment every Elf in the City of Light had been waiting for!
The moment they would move to take revenge on those who had invaded their homeland and destroyed it!
The moment they would take revenge on those who had killed their families, displaced their children, and widowed their women!
The moment they would take revenge on those who had killed more than nineteen million Elves in the City of Light, and many times that number in the Forest of Light!
Waiting had been extremely painful for them all this time, but it didn’t matter. The moment had finally arrived!
But....
"Invasion? Who said anything about invasion?" The evil look disappeared from Vaelor’s face, and he raised his eyes and asked seriously. He did not seem to be joking!
"Your Majesty!" Ayat looked toward Vaelor in shock, and her thoughts immediately became confused, but she asked doubtfully, "My Liege, what do you mean? Didn’t you just say that the moment we had been waiting for so long had finally arrived?"
"Oh, do you mean that! All I said was that the moment had arrived, but I never mentioned any invasion!" Vaelor spoke with a smile, and Ayat almost went insane. She still did not understand what Vaelor meant, but before she could misunderstand him any further, Vaelor quickly continued....
"All we are going to do is take revenge on those who dared to invade us in the past. Six armies will depart from here to destroy and subjugate the five kingdoms, while the sixth army will go on a mission to cleanse this continent of the Giants!" Vaelor smiled calmly and explained his plan.
Ayat’s expression changed, and she quickly felt delighted, but after fully processing Vaelor’s words, she furrowed her brows and asked again....
"But what about the rest of the kingdoms? Don’t we already have the power to subjugate them?"
"No, we will not go to invade anyone else. At least, it will not be an invasion in the conventional sense!" Vaelor shook his head and waved his hand, causing the chair to move as he sat down on it....
"Tell me, how many Elves are left in the City of Light?" Vaelor asked seriously.
"There are 933,003 Elves left, Your Majesty." Ayat answered in confusion.
"Then how many children can an Elf give birth to during their lifetime?" Vaelor asked again.
"Probably one to five at most, but they usually have two children during their lifetime." Ayat answered, not understanding the point of Vaelor’s questions.
"Then what is the gestation period of an Elf, and how much time do they need before they can have another child?" Vaelor asked again.
"Usually, the gestation period is three years, though it may increase or decrease in a few rare cases, and another pregnancy does not occur until an average of ten years after giving birth." Ayat furrowed her brows. "But why are you asking these questions, My Liege?"
