Chapter Three: Mildly Annoying Nations
You know, if Momonga had a nickel for every time she had met Clemintine in the guise of Valencia, she would have two nickels, which isn’t a lot, but it’s weird that it's happened twice. As she looked down at the woman in front of her, she sighed in her mind. Valencia was a strange one.
She had been resurrected, and utterly changed by Momonga’s magic. Her mind had been warped, and now she prayed to Momonga with a fervor that rivaled the NPCs. It was a rather startling thing to see.
There Momonga, Aura, and Shalltear stood, in the lizardman village. It had grown in the last time she had seen it. There was now a rather well made and large statue of herself, on top of all of them other things that were modelled after her faith here. It had really taken off.
It was still a swamp though, she wouldn’t take too much time here. She glanced down at the kneeling lizardmen, and spoke. Her tone was clear, and rather regal. All in all, her acting practice seemed to be going well.
“Do you know why I come here?” she asked, her back straight, and a brow raising.
“No my Goddess. I haven’t the faintest idea,” Valencia said, and bowed her head even lower.
“I have come here, as I have heard that one of the lizardmen that lives here, has been to the dwarven kingdom. I intend on going, to research runecraft. Now, which of you lot is it?” she asked, her tone firm.
One of the lizardmen off to the side raised his hand in a lackadaisical manner. He was tall, taller than her surprisingly. His right arm was bigger than his left. On his chest, was a mark branded into his skin. It looked strange to her eye, but this was a traveler’s mark. It was a mark that told the rest of the lizardman tribe that he had traveled the world, and learned from it.
“Hey I’m Zenberu Gugu. I can get you there,” he said, and she nodded her head.
“Of course. I have already prepared foodstuffs and other such things. Simply prepare to guide us, with whatever materials you need, and we shall head out after we have brought all of our own things here, as we have not done so fully,” she explained, and he nodded his head.
She turned around to leave, but then she was stopped. There, kneeling with her hands in the dirt, was Valencia. Her face was looking down in the dirt, and her back was straight. Momonga raised a brow, and hoped that this wasn’t what she thought it was.
“If you need a seat my lady, please use me,” she said, lust tinging her voice.
“No,” was all she said.
“Please, my subordinate was kind of rude to you, I insist,” she retorted.
“It’s fine,” was all Momonga said in response.
“Please?” Valencia questioned, “I wish to see who was better, My back or Lady Shalltear’s.”
“Fine, you win,” Momonga said after a second of peering at Shalltear, who was now starting to look lustfully at the woman.
She sat down on the woman’s back, and sighs as she saw Shalltear hold back her panting. At least she could do that. She was at least staying polite in not showing perverseness in front of the people and the few child children gathering.
“How does it compare?” Valencia asked, her tone heavy.
“Shalltear’s better,” Momonga said half heartedly, and Valencia wilted.
…
There they were, riding down, or rather up, the mountain. Zenberu had taken them up the side of the mountain in record time. It had only taken about 8 hours to do so. Yet, they were still a rather long way off. They had gone north, to north west as they traveled, and Zenburu had said that the mountain that the entrance was at, was farther north still.
It would take a far bit of time to get there, and from the sounds of it, they would only get there tomorrow. Momonga sighed as she dismounted her rather larger cat monster that Aura had as a pet but was never brought up at all, and then walked over to a bare and flat patch on the mountain side. Zenburu was speaking of something or other, she was honestly too mentally tired to care at all.
She ignored him for the moment, and cast, “Create Fortress,” on the bare spot. Zenberu and the rest had never seen this spell be used, so they were all rather shocked by how large it had turned out. Momonga ignored them all for a second.
“Just pick whatever rooms you all want. There are stables in the bottom floor for your pets Aura. Now, I want to sleep,” she said and swung the door open.
She stepped inside the fortress, uncaring that there was a fuck ton of steps up to her spot. She sighed as she cast fly on herself, and floated to te top. Then she realized that they would take too long to get up, and, “Mass Fly.”
…
