Chapter 67: League of Villains (Part 2)
[POV from the outside]
"All Might! But what about the press conference..."
"Nooo."
"Hey, log, don't squeeze so hard!" / "Tighter!"
A thin, muscular man in a modernized ninja outfit slipped through the gap between the door and the wall like a sheet of paper.
"We're not the only ones delivering pizza today."
Snipe said calmly, opening the door. Armed men in Japan Self-Defense Force uniforms began rushing into the room.
"All Might!"
Izuku Midoriya jumped to his feet, tearing the rope on his hands, green lightning crackling over his body.
"*I bet you were scared... but you held on well!* "
"YES!"
The ninth wielder of One For All's face beamed with joy.
"Kurogiri... Teleport everyone you can here. "
Silence fell over the bar, broken only by the stomping of boots as Japan's security forces entered. After a few awkward seconds, Shigaraki looked at Kurogiri, who was dressed like a bartender.
"I'm sorry, Tomura Shigaraki. But the Nomu that were supposed to be there... are missing?"
Boisterous laughter echoed through the room. All Might's smile seemed to shine even brighter.
"*Just as I thought. You're just a big child, Shigaraki.* "
The blue fire in All Might's eyes instilled fear in the villains.
"*Your League of Villains underestimated the police's diligent investigation...* "
The Symbol of Peace's presence crushed the League of Villains. Unbreakable. Unstoppable. The strongest. At that moment, he was All Might.
"*...and our Rage!* "
Crimson eyes stared at him with hatred.
"*Your games are over, Tomura Shigaraki!* "
All For One's student sneered.
"Over? This is only the beginning. I just pressed the 'start' button. The game will end when your fake world ends, All Might! Kuro... "
Kurogiri's silhouette, which had been about to teleport all the villains, suddenly went limp, and a small hole appeared in his torso.
"What?"
"Kyaa! Did he die? I didn't even see it."
Snipe appeared from behind, unfolding from a crouched position.
"He's neutralized, but not dead. Teleportation could get out of control, so I took care of him."
A thud echoed through the room. Then an icy female voice.
"Where is Nagato-san?"
Lisa Sutter's amber eyes glared at Ticci Micc with rage. The S-class villain turned his head, which had snapped to the side from the blow, and answered in an unnaturally calm, almost mechanical voice.
"I don't know. "
"Oh, you..."
The enraged woman, who'd raised her hand for another strike, was stopped by a hand in a yellow glove.
"Lisa, even if the Commission allowed you to participate in the operation as a former hero, don't get carried away."
Gran Torino shifted his gaze to the members of the "strike force."
"Kenji Hikiishi. Atsuhiro Sako. Shuichi Iguchi. Himiko Toga. Jin Bubaigawara. With a little information and a little time, the police were able to learn your names and histories in just one night. Do you understand what I'm getting at?"
The veteran smirked at the tense faces of the villains.
"There's nowhere for you to run. By the way, Shigaraki, I've been wanting to ask you for a while. Where's your boss?"
"Annoying. Annoying. Annoying. Get lost. Do you really think this is the end? I hate you so much."
"Uaaaaa."
With a loud splash, Nomu began crawling out of black liquid that appeared in the air.
"What?"
"How did Nomu get here?"
"*Kamui, don't let the villains go under any circumstances!* "
"Bwaaa."
Turning his head to his successor, All Might watched in horror as black liquid engulfed him.
"*Nooo!* "
Amid the sounds of gunfire and Nomu screeches, Ticci Micc's voice rang out. Unlike the other League members, he hadn't been teleported elsewhere.
"Wood hero, Kamui. I suggest you leave. Heroes below the top ten shouldn't be here. "
"You won't scare me!"
"I warned you. "
The villain said, dark-violet lightning beginning to race over his body. Sensing trouble, Snipe shot toward Ticci Micc in a twisted line...
"REJECTION. "
An overwhelming repulsive force radiated from Ticci Micc in all directions.
A second explosion rocked the Kamino district.

*
Standing in the middle of a massive crater that had replaced the League of Villains' former hideout, I took a deep breath. Dark power vibrated inside my body.
"*Kkh ha.* "
My gaze stopped on the number one hero getting to his feet. There was blood on his hand covering his mouth. I could see it clearly. He looked around. Then his blue eyes, full of rage, locked onto me.
"*YOU BASTARD!* "
The groans of the wounded came from the rubble of the destroyed buildings around me. With my Gaze, I saw the glowing silhouettes of all the security forces who'd been in the building go out. I also saw the slowly fading silhouettes of people under the debris of buildings and cars. I turned my head and saw a silhouette blazing in both senses throw a piece of a building's wall aside. Behind him lay a wounded black-haired man dressed differently from the other security forces. A policeman?
"I don't advise fighting me, All Might. Your student and an old acquaintance are waiting for you."
The muscular blond froze.
"Go, All Might."
"*Endeavor. Can you handle him?* "
The number one hero looked worriedly at the hero engulfed in flames.
"Are you saying I can't? Our 'number one hero' is getting senile."
"*Fine. I'll leave him to you.* "
Gritting his teeth, All Might jumped into the air, cracking the asphalt beneath his feet. I followed his silhouette with my gaze. All For One's prediction had come true, and now the battle of the two, as Facepalm would put it, "final bosses" was about to begin. Well. Time to carry out his request.
I raised my right hand, pointing toward where the number one hero had gone. Following my will, one gray ribbon shot through the air toward an overly active old man for his age.
"You've got a long way to go, brat. Kkh."
The old fossil dodged the ribbon, but the small steel balls I'd launched from my hand along its predicted trajectory he noticed too late. I spoke in a didactic, slightly mocking voice.
"Old people should stay home and do ikebana, old man. And it's not polite to interrupt a meeting of old acquaintances."
"*Hellfire Gehenna.* "
Heat washed over my figure. A yellow-red wave of raging flames, glowing like a red comet, shot toward me from Endeavor, easily melting the surrounding asphalt.
I made myself weightless with Choice and jumped up. Watching the sea of fire pass beneath me, I couldn't help but admire the beauty of this destructive element. But that admiration didn't stop me from flying toward the number two hero, the most dangerous opponent for me right now. I can't use Rejection of that magnitude repeatedly to overpower Endeavor's attacks. And he can ignore my ability to become intangible with Choice, because his flames are created by a Quirk and saturated with its energy. Testing my "Hardening's" heat resistance against the number two hero's fire? Not something I wanted to do.
Feeling a pale blue silhouette flying toward me from behind, I turned in the air and met a black female boot with my hand covered in Hardening. But the inertia from the blocked kick sent me to the ground.
"Lady, you're too persistent in wanting to be near me. And you forgot to powder your nose."
I said mockingly, looking at the silver-haired woman covered in scrapes, a line of blood drawn across her beautiful face from lips pressed into a thin line. Her face could have served as an illustration of the cold fury of a yuki-onna, a yokai who personifies a blizzard. Beautiful and dangerous.
"You talk too much, villain. *Flaming Fist: Jet Burn.* "
I jumped aside from the beam of yellow-gold plasma, which in its properties was close to plasma. And from Endeavor, who'd lifted himself with flames, a new wave of fire was already flying. I needed to put out this torch. I changed my body's position in the air and pushed myself up with a weak Rejection. Gran Torino's punch uselessly cut through the air, and his body ended up right under my palm.
"*Rejection.* "
With a crash, the overactive pensioner's body slammed into the ground.
"One more hit like that and we won't need an ambulance. He'll dig his own grave with his body. Pure money savings."
I smiled involuntarily at my own not-very-funny dark humor. Suddenly, a hail of bullets sparked off my body, carrying me sideways due to lack of support.
I looked at the surviving police and self-defense forces shooting at me. Too arrogant of them to interfere in our fight. Using my ribbons, I tossed a three-meter piece of a building's wall in front of me. I punched it, creating a network of cracks. I focused on controlling the Dark Matter, then...
"*Rejection.* "
...dozens of stones rained down like grapeshot on part of the street, wiping out the police and several surviving Nomu.
"The Apostate immediately retorted to him:
'In suffering or in struggle, woe to the weak, O fallen Cherubim!'"
Involuntarily recalling lines written by a Western poet, I turned away from the blood-soaked street indifferently.
Suddenly, a strong wind blew and a crash rang out. I turned my head, and my eyes beheld a scene of total destruction. Dozens of previously standing buildings, their apartment windows on fire, lay in ruins. As if some giant had decided to drag his foot across the city, demolishing the structures of pathetic, foolish insects. And since All For One asked me to take on the other heroes, when with this kind of power they were no different from children to him... a laugh escaped my lips from the excitement that washed over me.
"Well, this evening is becoming less and less boring."

[POV from the outside]
"It's time for you to become a living reminder. "
"Izu-kun, don't worry, I'll come visit you. Not having arms and legs won't stop me from drinking your blood."
"Delaware Smash."
The blast of air pushed the approaching villains back. Quickly retreating, Midoriya grabbed his arm, his fingers aching from the pain. He didn't have time to formulate a plan or even just look around. The constant attacks from the League members forced him to give it his all. Because of his weakness, he couldn't even run. And it was because of him that All Might was holding back. Holding back in his battle with his arch-enemy. Because of him.
The green-haired boy gritted his teeth.
"Dogshit, jump!"
"Kacchan?"
Everyone looked up in surprise. In the air, suspended like a balloon with a ribbon tied around his torso, hung a boy with ash-blond hair.
"WHY ARE YOU MAKING ME REPEAT MYSELF, SHITTY DEKU?"
"Right now, Kacchan!"
Izuku's body, crouched down, was covered in red lines.
"*One For All: 20%* "
With a huge surge of power, the green-haired boy slammed into Bakugo. Bakugo grabbed the ribbon tighter and shouted.
"GLASSES, PULL YOU BASTARD!"
The Class 1-A class president, carrying Sero on his back using his "Tape" Quirk, screamed as he ran away from the battlefield.
"Whaaaat?"
"Where did you come from?"
"We have to stop them. Who has a long-range Quirk?"
"Dabi and Kurogiri, but they're knocked out."
"Yo, guys, grab onto each other."
Magne shouted. Compress and Spinner pressed against each other. Magne's hand touched Spinner's back, and then, like magnets of the same pole repelling, Compress's body was thrown into the air.
Sharply turning in the air, the second student who'd taken first place in the sports festival aimed his hands at Mr. Compress flying toward them with open arms.
"FUCK OFF! *AP SHOT: AUTO-CANNON!* "
A bright explosion erupted, finally sending the pair of Class 1-A students farther from the battlefield. The chestnut-haired girl in the distance, her face starting to turn green, pressed her fingertips together and doubled over at the waist.
"Bwaaa."
On the battlefield, All Might watched the flying teenagers with a grin.
"*Well done, kids!* "
"Nice move, turning the situation in your favor like that. *Forced Quirk Activation.* "
Black-red appendages, resembling blood vessels, pierced Magne, while magnetic force covered Toga, who was near the open portal. League of Villains members flew toward her.
"Huh?"
And slammed into her, carried into the portal.
"Wait... no, Master! "
Tomura Shigaraki, desperately trying to hold onto the ground, reached his hand out toward All For One.
"With this body, you... NO! "
The figure with the blue-gray hair, disappearing into the black void, shouted.
"I STILL HAVEN'T... "
"Tomura, keep fighting."
The muscular figure in the tight hero costume appeared next to the villain in the classic suit.
"*TEXAS SMASH!* "
"*Reverse Recoil.* "
With a crash, the opponents flew apart from each other.
"You know, All Might... I despise you."
The man in the mask's arm bulged.
"You're always talking about peace and nobility. Accepting being called the Symbol of Peace..."
"*DETROIT SMASH!* "
The fists of the old enemies collided, a shockwave further destroying the surroundings.
"...but it was you who, together with the student who betrayed me, killed all my comrades, one by one. You stand at the top of the world, on the bodies of people..."
All For One, his sleeves torn to the elbows and his skull mask cracked, asked.
"...Not a bad view from up there, is it?"
