As a Blacksmith in the World of Jujutsu Kaisen

Chapter 111

There was a glimmer in Yaeko's eyes—a glimmer of genuine happiness, mixed with such deep gratitude that it was difficult to hide.

"Thank you, Master." Yaeko smiled brightly, then bowed her body with full respect. Her movement was deep and sincere, without the slightest hesitation or pretense.

Beside Yaeko, Shoko also lowered her head, imitating her mother with a slightly awkward motion, yet still looking serious and earnest, as if she wanted to convey her gratitude in the same way.

"Well, if you really want to thank me, just take good care of my shop," I said casually, with a faint smile that wasn't too formal but still warm. "Alright, let's eat. I also need to help your mother, right?"

Without waiting for a response, I raised my hand and gently stroked Yaeko's hair, feeling the softness and warmth of it against my palm, before finally turning around and walking toward the door with relaxed steps, as if everything was already settled.

"Wait, Master… there's one more thing I need to say." Yaeko suddenly called out from behind, her voice sounding slightly different—softer, yet full of meaning.

My steps stopped instantly, and I immediately glanced back, observing Yaeko's expression more carefully.

Then Yaeko shifted her gaze to Shoko, giving a clear hand signal—pointing at Shoko, then toward the door. "Shoko, could you step बाहर for a moment and go see your grandmother? Mama has something to take care of."

Shoko watched the gesture closely, her eyes following every movement of her mother's hand, then nodded softly in understanding.

Without asking, without showing even the slightest hesitation, Shoko walked toward the door with calm steps.

Her hand reached for the doorknob carefully, as if she still wasn't fully accustomed to her new coordination, then slowly opened the door and stepped outside.

The door closed again with a soft sound, leaving behind a deeper silence in the room.

Now the atmosphere felt different—quieter, more closed off, and somehow a little heavier than before.

I frowned slightly, feeling confused about what Yaeko wanted to talk about to the point that she had to ask Shoko to leave first.

However, I didn't think too much about it, assuming that this conversation might take quite a while.

I walked toward the bed and sat on its edge, my body leaning slightly forward in a relaxed position, one hand resting on my knee, waiting for Yaeko to speak.

I had just opened my mouth to ask what she meant, but suddenly, a pair of arms wrapped around me from behind.

The embrace came without warning—tight, warm, and strong enough to hold my body in place, stopping any movement I was about to make.

Before I could fully react, warm breath brushed against my neck, soft yet clear, turning the previously calm atmosphere into something far more intimate.

My body tensed reflexively, my muscles stiffening instantly as if something pressed from within without warning, making every fiber of my body tighten and difficult to move, as if bound by an unseen force.

The sensation came suddenly, surging without pause, making me lose the rhythm of my breathing for a moment. My chest felt tight, and my breath caught in my throat before finally coming out slowly and unevenly.

I tried to turn my head, wanting to make sure what was actually happening, wanting to ask, wanting to stop this situation before it went too far, before everything turned into something I could no longer take back.

But before a single word could leave my lips, before my thoughts could form a clear question, Yaeko Nishimiya suddenly kissed my lips without the slightest warning.

Everything happened so fast—too fast even to comprehend—her lips touching mine gently, warmly, and without the slightest hesitation, as if it was something she had decided long ago.

It wasn't a hurried touch, but something that felt deliberate, guided, as if Yaeko had thought about this beforehand—had weighed every possibility before finally choosing to do it without hesitation.

The kiss lingered a few seconds longer than it should have, enough to empty my mind, as if all my awareness had stopped functioning, leaving only a single point of focus on the sensation, on the warmth that felt so real and impossible to ignore.

In those moments, time seemed to slow down, the surroundings felt distant, and all that remained was the brief yet clear contact between us, something that felt too real to dismiss.

When Yaeko finally pulled away, I was still frozen in place, my body not fully responding, my thoughts lagging a few seconds behind, trying to catch up with what had just happened, something that felt unreal—like a dream too brief to fully comprehend.

My breathing felt slightly heavy, rising and falling unevenly, and without realizing it, I touched my own lips with the tips of my fingers, making sure it had truly happened, not just a fleeting illusion created by my mind.

"Thank you very much, Sir…" Yaeko's voice was soft, gentle, yet filled with undisguised emotion, as if every word carried feelings she had long kept hidden. "I don't know how to repay you… but I will definitely work hard to take care of your shop."

I remained silent, not because I didn't want to respond, but because I truly didn't know what to say. My mind was still trying to reorganize what had just happened and how I was supposed to respond to it.

This situation felt far more complicated than it should have been, and a strange feeling began to form in my chest—a mix of confusion, attraction, and a vague urge I couldn't immediately explain, making me feel like I was losing control of where this situation was heading.

That feeling gradually grew stronger, replacing the logic that should have held me back, making every decision feel driven more by instinct than careful consideration.

"You're really making this difficult for me, you know," I finally said, my voice sounding calmer than the chaos in my mind, trying to hide the unease that hadn't fully settled.

Without giving Yaeko time to respond, I moved first. My hand lifted, pulling her body closer with a gentle yet firm motion, my fingers touching her arm, feeling the warmth beneath the fabric she wore.

I could feel the distance between us disappear quickly, our breaths drawing close, until with a soft push, her body was guided onto the bed, the sheets slightly wrinkling beneath her.

The movement was quick enough to surprise her—her eyes widened slightly, her breath caught for a moment, her chest rising slowly—but before she could say anything, I had already closed the distance between us, leaving no space for pause.

My lips met hers again, at first only briefly, a light touch that almost felt hesitant, as if testing whether this would truly happen.

But slowly, the touch deepened, lasted longer, as if something within me refused to stop, pulling me deeper into a moment I could no longer ignore.

I could feel Yaeko's breath, warm and close, mixing with my own that had begun to grow uneven, creating a chaotic rhythm that felt real and continued without control.

The most unsettling part was the fact that Yaeko didn't resist—there was no push to pull away, not the slightest sign of rejection that could stop me.

Instead, her body gradually relaxed, her shoulders softening, as if accepting all of this without hesitation, without objection, without question, allowing the situation to continue without stopping.
