After transforming into a Nightingale, Levi found that the world looked completely different through his eyes.

It was still the same world, but now a sapphire-blue lake had appeared before him. Beside the lake stood a striking white marble palace hidden within the forest.

Levi's eyes lit up.

With a flap of his wings, he descended from the Cloud Territory. In the blink of an eye, he vanished soundlessly from Mela's sight.

Mela was briefly stunned. Looking at the scenery below, her gaze grew unreadable.

Around the altar stood several damaged statues.

It was here that Levi finally discovered the whereabouts of the Flower Fairies.

A hazy phantom of a gigantic woman appeared and smiled faintly at the two tiny figures.

Now, however, they merged perfectly with her body, becoming as natural as if she had been born with them.

Like the other Flower Fairies, she could now freely soar above fields of flowers.

The changes experienced by the Flower Fairy King were even more dramatic.

Originally, he had only been a First-Ring magical creature.

Yet under the blessing of the Goddess of Love and stimulated by the mysterious power emanating from Thumbelina, he broke through in a single leap and became a Second-Ring magical creature.

His body also grew considerably larger.

Only after a long while did the blessing finally come to an end.

The golden pillar of light faded away.

The giant phantom let out an almost inaudible sigh before vanishing.

At the center of the altar, the auras of Thumbelina and the Flower Fairy King gradually stabilized.

The surrounding Flower Fairies crowded around them and erupted into cheers that echoed like crashing waves.

The Flower Fairy King and Thumbelina both revealed smiles that came straight from the heart.

Then, suddenly—

The Flower Fairy King's expression changed slightly.

He abruptly turned toward Levi's location.

Sensing that something was wrong, Thumbelina and the other Flower Fairies also looked in the same direction.

"How did a human get in here?"

Panicked voices rang out among the Flower Fairies.

Only small animals.

That was why their reaction was so intense.

Now a Second-Ring magical creature, the Flower Fairy King stepped forward and shielded his people behind him.

Thumbelina, having received the blessing of the Goddess of Love, stood at his side as they faced Levi together.

That gave the Flower Fairy King tremendous courage.

Enough courage to confront this terrifying human.

"Stop where you are, cunning and deceitful human!"

Levi actually stopped.

He simply stood there.

Encouraged by this, the Flower Fairy King spoke again in a stern voice.

"Human! State your purpose for coming to the Flower Fairy Kingdom."

"The Flower Fairy Kingdom?"

Levi glanced at the hundred or so ordinary Flower Fairies.

A smile involuntarily appeared on his face.

The Flower Fairy King felt insulted.

He glared at Levi.

Unfortunately, he was simply too small.

He posed no intimidation whatsoever.

The Flower Fairy King became angry.

Staring furiously at Levi, he shouted, "Human!"

"Answer your king's question!"

"State your purpose for coming to the Flower Fairy Kingdom!"

Levi smiled.

Without beating around the bush, he answered directly.

"I'd like to invite you all to move."

"Move?"

The Flower Fairy King's brows immediately furrowed.

The expressions of the other Flower Fairies also darkened.

"You want to take away our homeland! As King of the Flower Fairies, I absolutely will not allow it!"

The Flower Fairy King seemed genuinely enraged.

With a flap of his wings, he rose into the air.

Thumbelina followed close beside him.

The Flower Fairy King pointed toward Levi.

Vines immediately burst from the ground.

Like venomous serpents and sturdy ropes, they slithered up Levi's legs, seeking to bind him tightly.

Such a minor spell was nowhere near enough to deal with Levi.

With a casual use of Wizard's Hand, he tore the vines apart and shattered the Flower Fairy King's spell.

The Flower Fairy King's face instantly turned pale.

The gap between them was simply too great.

Looking at him, Levi said, "I think you've misunderstood me."

As he spoke, he used Wizard's Hand to pull the utterly powerless Flower Fairy King and Thumbelina directly before him.

The moment he came into contact with them, Levi's Sea of Souls churned.
