Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All

Chapter 305-Whipped For Me

Gigi:

Theodore: How are you so understanding?

Well, to him, I was understanding.

To me, he was just a fool who believed everything I said, but he was a fool who was genuinely dear to me.

Me: Theodore, it’s all right. You’re a very kind person yourself. You have no idea how much comfort you and Jaguar gave me last night. It meant the whole world to me. So please don’t step away from me because of that. You mean the world to me.

As soon as I hit send, I got off my bed and walked over to the window, folding my arms as I watched Rochelle leave my mansion.

Before Theodore’s response could come, my brother stormed in.

"Guess what?" he said, a quiet smile on his lips.

"What?" I asked, turning around to look at him.

"Verity agreed to meet me. So I guess I’ll be starting the second-opportunity deal tonight."

Oliver had given me such good news that I couldn’t help rushing over and hugging him.

Verity was going to get sacrificed because of her own stupid habit of helping people.

Otherwise, she could have lived a perfectly happy life without sticking her nose into Jenna’s business.

"But you have to be careful because I’m worried Verity might have told Ragnar. That could be why they were investigating you," I said to Oliver as I pulled away from him.

"Um, no. The reason they were investigating me was because Verity has been telling the brothers that I used to abuse her. Jenna hasn’t told anyone yet. Last night, I called her again, and, well, she panicked so badly that I think she cried in front of Verity. That’s probably why Verity agreed."

Oliver looked confident, and his explanation made sense.

Otherwise, Ragnar wouldn’t have allowed Verity to meet Oliver if he knew what was going on with Jenna.

And there was no way Verity could know that Oliver was involved.

"You know what? You’re absolutely right," I said to my brother. "I completely forgot that they don’t even suspect you."

I laughed, slapping my forehead.

"And since I’ve been using a different number and a different IP address, I haven’t left a single trail they can trace back to me," Oliver said confidently. "Well, you know me. I never make mistakes," he added with a laugh.

I nodded in agreement.

Once he walked out of the room, I checked Theodore’s text.

Theodore: Well, then let’s forget about it. I don’t want to lose my friend either.

I smiled, but then my smile faded.

Those were just words.

Deep down, I felt like there had to be some kind of guilt there. There was no way there wasn’t.

The brothers loved each other too much, even when they fought.

So I had to make sure Theodore started thinking about me the way he used to. The jealousy, all of it.

I’d already noticed those feelings becoming milder.

There was only one way I knew how to bring them back.

Whenever I gave Jaguar more importance, Theodore got jealous. And the same thing happened with Jaguar whenever I gave Theodore more attention.

With that decided, I was going to use Jaguar to make Theodore jealous.

So I called Jaguar.

I deliberately waited until the afternoon, when I knew Jaguar and Theodore would be together.

I knew they were planning to spend time with each other that afternoon.

Jaguar answered the call, and I could hear Theodore laughing in the background before he suddenly went quiet.

"Hi. How are you? Are you okay, Gigi?" Jaguar asked, sounding genuinely concerned.

"I’m much better now," I said.

"Hey, tell her I’m saying hello too," I heard Theodore call from the background.

"Listen, I’d really appreciate it if you didn’t say anything to Theodore about me."

The moment I said that, Jaguar went silent.

Maybe I was on speaker and he was worried Theodore had heard me. Or maybe he simply didn’t know how to respond without making the situation even more awkward.

"I need to speak with you. It’s about my friend and her sister’s situation, and I don’t want to discuss it with Ragnar or even Theodore. You know, I can trust you more, like a friend. I get it, Ragnar is my boyfriend, and I love him a lot, but with you, I have a different kind of bond," I said, biting my bottom lip as I imagined the look on Theodore’s face.

"Oh, um, we’ll talk about it later, okay?" Jaguar tried to say.

But I could tell why.

Poor thing was trapped now.

He couldn’t exactly cut me off because Theodore was listening, but if he let me keep talking, Theodore would hear everything.

At the same time, stopping me too abruptly might make me feel bad.

"No, I need to talk now," I insisted.

"Actually, Theodore and I are about to—." Jaguar began softly.

"Oh, okay. Spend time with him, but don’t mention me, all right? We still have to plan our trip, and remember, we have to go shopping too. Don’t tell anyone about Halloween. We’re both going to match."

I was deliberately saying things that would make Theodore feel left out.

"You want to match with me?" Jaguar asked, sounding rather pleased.

"Yeah, why not? You’re my bestest friend in the world," I said, smirking as I imagined Theodore’s face.

"Right, yeah, sure."

As expected, Jaguar was more than happy.

"All right, you go ahead and spend time with Theodore for now. We’ll talk later on dinner, okay?" I said excitedly, hanging up the call.

The moment I did, I immediately received a text from none other than Theodore.

Theodore: What are you doing tonight?

I almost laughed under my breath because he didn’t know that I already knew what he was doing. He was trying to test me.

Me: I’ll be busy with a friend.

I replied, deliberately not mentioning Jaguar’s name.

Theodore: Can I come?

he texted.

Me: Theodore, I think you’ll feel left out. You don’t know this friend.

I hit send.

He responded with a single straight-faced emoji.

I didn’t reply after that.

I just left him alone.
