Fated To Three, And I Broke Them All

Chapter 259-He Is Making His Own Decisions Now

Gigi:

2 Days Ago:

I was terrified of what might happen.

I’d made it completely clear to them that I didn’t want to talk to them.

No matter how many times Theodore called or Jaguar tried to contact me, I completely ignored them.

Ragnar sent bouquets and gifts to my house, but I didn’t even open them.

I had them put aside in the living room.

But the agitation inside me still wouldn’t go away.

Even after I’d ignored them this much, not one of them had come to personally convince me.

Last time, Ragnar had casually invited me over to their house, so I’d gone.

But not this time. I’d promised myself that this time, I was going to take a much firmer stand.

And the reason was my brother.

If I didn’t do something, they would start the investigation.

That was why I was acting so angry, hoping the brothers would finally reverse their decision.

Then Theodore texted me that Jaguar was going to talk to Verity and ask her not to let them investigate the bullying, and instead give my brother some small punishment.

Although I also planned to speak with Verity myself and ask her not to pursue anything because whatever had happened in childhood had happened in childhood.

Unless she opened her mouth and told them what my brother had done to her after her brother’s death.

Just thinking about it made my heart sink. If those things came out, even I wouldn’t be able to save Oliver.

So I sat anxiously on the couch, staring at the TV and waiting for Jaguar to give me some good news.

However, Jaguar was taking his sweet time.

Morning came. At six, I finally got a message from Theodore.

He told me that Jaguar hadn’t spoken to Verity, but they were coming to talk to me.

I was sitting on the same couch where I’d been the day before.

I’d shower, wash my face, and come right back to sit there. It was my comfort zone.

Whenever I was tense, I couldn’t go to my room or anywhere else.

I’d just sit on my couch and stare at the TV.

I anxiously waited for their arrival, and it seemed like all three brothers had decided to show up together.

I saw them on the Ring camera through my phone.

I adjusted myself to look even more distraught. I mean, I’d tried not to eat or drink anything so I could look sick.

But only God knew how I’d managed that.

For me, going without food and staying away from my favorite coffee was incredibly difficult.

After putting myself through all of that, I had to make sure this ended well for me.

Now I had no clue how I was going to achieve that.

"Put all this stuff aside and bring out the breakfast," I heard Ragnar order the maid as he entered my living room.

His huge presence really turned me on every time I saw him.

But then I remembered how heartless he had been toward me, and it hurt me deeply.

I immediately looked away, trying to show him that I wasn’t exactly in the mood to welcome him like I used to, like some silly woman.

He arrived with his two brothers behind him.

Jaguar looked at me and almost instantly, a huge smile appeared on his lips.

Maybe there’s some good news?

"No welcome for us tonight?"

Theodore stepped in front of Ragnar and approached me first.

As he sat down on the couch, he watched my face in silence.

Then he lifted his head to look at Ragnar, who had stopped with his head tilted, while Jaguar sat down right next to Theodore.

"I heard you haven’t been eating or resting," Ragnar commented, shifting closer on the couch, so I had to move my legs and put them down.

"It shouldn’t bother you. It’s actually my problem," I said, taking a slow and deep breath.

"You seriously think it won’t bother me?" he asked rather softly, trying to make eye contact with me.

I kept looking into the distance, refusing to meet his gaze.

"Tell me when you need my brother’s phones and everything else for the investigation," I said, making it clear what had upset me.

"You know what? There will be no need for it."

The minute Jaguar said that, my heart flipped inside my chest. Maybe it worked.

Maybe me getting angry at them actually worked.

"What do you mean?" I asked in a gentler tone.

"We will talk with Verity. What happened in the past happened. If she didn’t complain about it herself, we can’t go ahead and file a complaint either," Theodore said, shrugging his shoulders.

A slow, steady smile had only started to form on my lips when I heard Ragnar grunt.

"Did you just make that decision on your own?" he asked, turning toward them.

My smile immediately vanished.

I thought he would at least be appreciative that his brothers were doing something for me.

"I mean, look at her. She’s all distraught and upset," Theodore said, pointing at me.

For Theodore, it was kind of obvious that he was on my side now.

There were only two days left for Jenna to fulfill her purpose in my life, and then Theodore would be mine.

But Jaguar was still on my side too.

I just didn’t understand why Ragnar was acting differently.

"And we are all here to take care of her. We will cheer her up. We will be around her. We will not let her image get destroyed. But that doesn’t mean I’m not assigning someone to pursue an investigation against Oliver."

Ragnar stunned me with his words. He said all of it so sternly that I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand up.

"Sorry, on what basis?" I snapped, straightening my back.

I could tell that Theodore and Jaguar were shocked to hear me use such a stern tone for the first time.
