The Heretic's Mana-Bound Sanctuary

Chapter 91: Calculus of Slaughter

The ascent from the Vault of the First Sin was an elevator ride through a collapsing reality.

As Kaelen, Seraphina, and Elara rode a severed, floating platform of cracked obsidian up the massive central shaft, the pristine architecture of the Sphere of Knowledge actively violently disintegrated around them. The once-perfect geometric bridges of flowing blue mana were aggressively stuttering, flashing into a sickly, necrotic violet before shattering into rain-like shards of heavy glass.

There was no more absolute silence. The dimension was howling.

"The gravity equations are completely inverting, Master!" Elara shrieked over the deafening roar of failing leylines. She was completely ignoring the lethal debris falling around them, her emerald eyes whited out as she tracked the systemic failure of heaven’s library. "The Seraphs tried to build a house out of pure math, but I just introduced them to the concept of irrational numbers!"

He stood at the edge of the ascending platform, his heavy Void-Steel boots anchored effortlessly to the stone. He looked up at the colossal, hyper-dimensional Dyson Sphere above them.

The captive blue star at the center of the dimension—the processing core of the Second Choir—was actively choking. Thick, suffocating veins of Abyssal black and violent violet were spreading across its surface like a localized plague.

"They built a machine to erase passion," he rumbled, the sheer, intoxicating gravity of his Level 108 Primordial Sovereign core pushing the falling debris away from his Harem. "Let us see how they handle the withdrawal."

The platform breached the upper threshold, locking violently onto the primary docking ring of the Ancillary Archives.

The scene before them was a portrait of pure, unadulterated cosmic horror.

Millions of Seraphs of Logic—the faceless, floating geometric constructs of silver and blue light—were violently violently malfunctioning. Without the filtered, pristine holy mana from the basement, they were directly inhaling the raw, entropic emotion of the original Abyssal Heart.

They were experiencing panic.

"Error... contradiction... logic core overheating," a squad of heavily armored Seraphs broadcasted in a chaotic, overlapping telepathic shriek as they stumbled across the buckling silver platforms. Their floating polygons were actively grinding against each other, leaking sparks of corrupted holy plasma.

"They don’t know how to be afraid," Seraphina purred, her corrupted golden eyes dilating with a terrifying, absolute bloodlust. The Eclipse Vanguard stepped off the obsidian platform, the heavy Eclipse Breaker dragging against the silver floor, igniting a trail of roaring black fire. "How pathetic. Allow me to teach them."

A dozen malfunctioning Seraphs turned their flickering, red crystal visors toward the Demigoddess. Primal survival instinct finally forcefully overwrote their broken equations.

"Axiom Override: Eradication Protocol!" they broadcasted, raising their silver hands to summon hyper-condensed spears of localized holy light.

But their magic was poisoned. The spears flickered, half-formed, dripping with volatile Abyssal rot.

Seraphina didn’t even bother dodging. She launched herself directly into the center of their formation, a localized hurricane of absolute violence. She swung her massive greatsword in a devastating upward arc, entirely bypassing their failing conceptual shields. The hyper-dense void-diamond edge flawlessly sheared through the torsos of three Seraphs at once, their crystalline bodies violently violently shattering into a million pieces of dead silver.

"Math doesn’t bleed!" she roared, laughing maniacally as she spun, driving a heavy dragon-glass gauntlet directly through the logic core of a fourth angel. "But it breaks just the same!"

He walked slowly behind her, stepping onto the chaotic factory floor of heaven’s history.

An Archivist Prime—a towering, Level 118 construct with four arms and a halo of rapidly spinning silver gears—dropped from the ceiling directly into Kaelen’s path. Its logic core was frantically trying to purge the Abyssal virus, venting superheated steam from its non-Euclidean armor.

"Anomaly... you are the Heretic," the Archivist Prime projected, its telepathic voice glitching heavily. "You cannot overwrite the truth. The Goddess is absolute. The math is absolute."

"Math requires a foundation, Archivist," he whispered, stopping inches from the towering machine.

The Archivist Prime swung a massive, geometric blade of solid light at Kaelen’s neck.

He didn’t blink. He didn’t even raise his hand. He forcefully flared the overwhelming, suffocating weight of his God-Eater authority.

The blade of light hit Kaelen’s localized aura and instantly ceased to exist. It wasn’t blocked; it was actively, violently eaten by the bottomless hunger of the Emperor’s core.

The Archivist Prime froze, its internal gears audibly grinding to a halt in pure, uncalculated shock.

"I am the foundation you stole," he stated coldly.

He reached out, his calloused hand piercing effortlessly through the Archivist’s chest armor. He didn’t just rip out its core. He forcefully injected the raw, unfiltered weight of the First Sin directly into the angel’s localized mind. He flooded it with ten thousand years of repressed agony, hatred, and unadulterated consequence.

The massive construct let out a harrowing, physical scream—a sound it was never built to make—before violently imploding into a harmless cloud of gray static.

"Master, the central network is completely buckling!" Elara reported, skipping past the dissolving static, her soot-stained hands manipulating floating holographic screens of corrupted data. "The Archive is entering a localized fail-safe mode! They are trying to dump the infected data files into the Celestial Fold to save the core!"

"Let them dump it," he commanded, looking out over the sprawling, infinite library as Seraphina systematically slaughtered her way through the faltering celestial host. "We already read the only book that mattered."

Suddenly, the massive, corrupted blue star at the center of the Dyson Sphere violently pulsed. A singular, hyper-condensed beam of pure, encrypted golden light shot outward, completely bypassing Elara’s localized static dome. It tore straight through the dimensional barrier, vanishing into the chaotic gray static of the Fold.

Ariel’s sharp, silky voice immediately crackled over the Abyssal Trinity link from the Sphere of Judgment.

"My Demigod. A priority-one celestial distress beacon just breached the Fold. It is heavily encrypted, but the trajectory is unmistakable. It is heading directly for the Sphere of War."

Kaelen’s dark, predatory smile widened into something truly apocalyptic. The libraries were burning, the scholars were dead, and the Goddess’s darkest secret was now in his hands. The weird, sterile puzzle of the Second Choir was over.

It was time for a real fight.

"Rally the Void-iron Brutes, Ariel," he broadcasted, his multi-tonal voice vibrating with heavy, lethal intent. "Tell them to sharpen their cleavers. The Warlords are coming."
