The Heretic's Mana-Bound Sanctuary

Chapter 69: Law of the Abyss

The pristine, white-marble courtyard of the Sphere of Judgment had been aggressively, violently gentrified by the Abyss.

Within hours of High Arbiter Cassius retreating into the shifting golden labyrinth, the hundred thousand Void-iron Brutes had transformed the holy grounds into a suffocating military encampment. Massive, jagged spikes of black iron were driven directly into the celestial stone. Elara’s localized alchemical forges belched thick, radioactive violet smog into the air, actively suffocating the ambient light of the realm.

Kaelen sat upon a hastily constructed throne forged from the shattered, star-metal remains of the fortress gates. He lazily rested his chin on his fist, watching the towering, impenetrable wall of shifting golden geometry that now separated them from the Inner Citadel.

The labyrinth was alive. The golden blocks constantly rotated, folded, and locked into new configurations with a deafening, mechanical hum.

"Physical kinetic impact is useless, Master," Elara reported, floating a few feet away from the shifting golden wall.

The Entropic Matrix had a manic, frustrated pout on her soot-stained face. She fired a highly concentrated beam of corrosive dark plasma from her palm directly into the gold. The wall instantly melted, only for the surrounding blocks to aggressively shift and instantly overwrite the damage, leaving a flawless surface in a fraction of a second.

"It isn’t just a physical barrier," Elara explained, her churning emerald eyes rapidly processing the ambient data. "The wall is heavily encrypted with celestial bureaucracy. I managed to isolate the conceptual frequency of this specific block. It isn’t made of star-metal; it is a physical manifestation of ’Section 4, Clause 12 of the Divine Penal Code’. As long as the Judiciary scribes inside the citadel are processing paperwork, they are literally rebuilding the walls in real-time."

Seraphina scoffed, pacing aggressively near Kaelen’s throne. The Eclipse Vanguard’s corrupted golden eyes were dilated with unspent bloodlust.

"They fight with parchment and ink," Seraphina spat, tightly gripping the hilt of her Eclipse Breaker. "Let me overcharge my core, Emperor. I will unleash a localized total eclipse and forcefully cleave the entire mountain in half. Let’s see them file paperwork when they are reduced to atomic dust."

"No, Vanguard," he rumbled, his multi-tonal voice echoing with absolute, unquestionable authority.

Seraphina instantly stopped pacing, her posture flawlessly snapping to attention as a shiver of deep submission ran down her spine. "As you command, my Sovereign. But how do we breach a fortress that constantly rewrites its own layout?"

From the heavy shadow cast by Kaelen’s throne, Lyriel seamlessly melted into existence. The Void-Stalker’s silver hair was perfectly pristine, though her void-diamond arm blades hummed with residual kinetic energy.

"They aren’t just rewriting it randomly, Master," Lyriel purred, kneeling gracefully at Kaelen’s heavy black boots. "I managed to slip through a micro-fissure in the spatial folds before the wall closed. The labyrinth is highly compartmentalized. The scribes and minor judges are divided into localized nodes—courtrooms—that act as processing anchors for the shifting walls. If the network loses a node, that entire sector of the maze physically collapses."

Ariel descended from the smog-choked sky, her six massive shadow-wings elegantly folding behind her back. "Then it is a war of attrition. Cassius hopes we will wander the maze blindly, slowly being ground down by the infinite, shifting traps of the Judiciary."

"Cassius forgets that I am not a standard invader," he smiled—a cold, deeply vindictive expression that promised absolute entropy. "I am a Dungeon."

The Primordial Sovereign stood up, the sheer, suffocating gravity of his Level 105 core actively cracking the marble beneath his boots. He walked toward the shifting golden wall, completely unbothered by the crushing ambient pressure of the celestial laws.

"If they are using laws as bricks, we will use heresy as a battering ram," he declared, raising his right hand.

He didn’t summon a spell of destruction. He forcefully injected his hyper-dense, localized void mana directly into the Abyssal Trinity link, connecting his absolute ambition to the millions of fragmented mortal souls bound within the armor of his Brute army.

"Elara," he commanded. "Can you track the localized data streams to locate the nearest anchor node?"

"Oh, effortlessly, my Master!" Elara giggled, her alchemical brands flaring with radioactive black fire. She traced a complex, floating rune in the air, forcefully hacking into the ambient celestial network. "The nearest node is directly behind this sector. It is an Appellate Court, managed by three Level 110 High Magistrates."

"Good," he whispered.

He placed his large, calloused palm directly onto the shifting golden wall. The celestial bureaucracy actively tried to reject him, projecting a massive wave of localized conceptual guilt, but it was instantly swallowed by his God-Eater authority.

He didn’t try to break the wall. He forcefully anchored his Dungeon into it.

The absolute darkness of the Black Genesis domain aggressively violently spread from his palm, acting like a viral infection in a computer system. The pristine gold rapidly turned into rotting, jagged obsidian. The mechanical, shifting hum of the wall violently shuddered, grinding to a harrowing halt as the celestial law was aggressively overridden by Abyssal edict.

With a deafening crack, the corrupted wall split open, revealing a sprawling, highly polished hallway of white stone leading deep into the labyrinth.

"The door is open," he said smoothly, turning back to his Harem.

He looked at his Eclipse Vanguard. Seraphina was practically vibrating, her dragon-glass armor humming with raw, catastrophic intent.

"Seraphina," Kaelen’s voice dropped to a heavy, intoxicating register that made the Demigoddess gasp softly. "Take the First Division of Brutes into the Appellate Court. The Magistrates will attempt to judge you. They will try to bind you in conceptual litigation."

He stepped forward, gently gripping Seraphina’s chin and tilting her flushed face up to meet his pitch-black eyes.

"Do not debate them. Do not listen to their charges. You are the absolute martial authority of my empire. I want you to walk into their courtroom, shatter their gavels, and introduce them to the only law that matters."

"The edge of my blade," Seraphina whispered, her golden eyes burning with euphoric devotion.

"Exactly," he smirked, releasing her.

Seraphina turned toward the breached corridor, her massive greatsword igniting with roaring black fire. With a sharp, commanding gesture, ten thousand Void-iron Brutes perfectly synchronized their movements, marching heavily behind her into the dark unknown of the celestial labyrinth.

The methodical, brutal deconstruction of the Sphere of Judgment had moved to its next phase. He returned to his throne, pouring himself a goblet of stolen celestial wine. He was in no rush. He was going to dismantle the heavens piece by agonizing piece.
