Day 11 – Slow Progress 4
For a brief moment, Alex considered fleeing. The thought was immediately squashed. His muscles tensed, his fingers wrapped around the Titanic Greatsword, and all of his world became focused on the task to defeat and protect.
“BEHIND ME!” he roared over steaming rain and screaming elemental, then met the charge.
The creature was huge, taller than Alex was by quite a margin, and yet he was confident. Although his opponent was massive, so was his sword. The weapon of sharpened, supernatural stone was wet from the rainfall.
Thunder cracked as he and the elemental met. Their first strikes were a mutual exchange of blocked blows. Fists hammered against thick stone. Roaring and screeching, the creature assailed Alex, who kept the body of liquid stone at bay with wide swings and controlled steps.
The ground beneath his feet was treacherous. Heat beneath and rain above turned it rapidly into a slippery mud. Intense winds made it difficult to keep the massive sword’s edge aligned with where he wanted it to cut.
It was fortunate that his enemy had the same, if not greater, issues. Where the elemental’s body was exposed to wind and rain, its surfaced cooled and cracked. Energy that would have gone into sweeping motions was instead spent keeping its body liquid. The lizard-like maw was constantly agape, screaming wordless rage into the storm.
The creature brought its arm down like a hammer. Trusting in his supernatural defences, Alex brought his own up to deflect the strike. His forearm flared, turning to stone and bark. The impact was insignificant, the arm of the creature shoved aside, giving Alex the opening he had hoped for.
A one-armed swing may not have had the force he wanted behind it, but with a sword of this size, any kind of motion had a horrid amount of kinetic energy behind it. The weapon slammed into the creature’s side, sinking into magma like it was some kind of gel.
That it had done some damage was immediately apparent. Pain twisted into the rage of the screams. The monster thrashed. Alex had already retreated, refusing to fight the monster close-up and certainly refusing to engage anywhere near that magma pool it had brought with it. Wildfires spawned from it and were immediately put out by the rain.
The cut Alex had left behind bubbled. The wound closed before his eyes - although not as quick as superheroes as Wolverine made such a healing factor sound. It was like watching honey pour into a glass, slow and strangely mesmerizing. If he had stood there without adding more wounds for the next minute, the creature would be fully fine.
Alex did not intend to wait for that, neither did the elemental care for that degree of strategy.
The two giants charged at each other again, each confident that their brawn would bring them victory. Molten claws cut through the air, leaving steam in their wake, which in turn was swiftly swallowed by the downpour. Alex could feel the resistance of wind and water on his own swings.
While the monster continued a straightforward assault, Alex danced nimbly as he counterstruck. He operated on pure instinct, putting to use what he had learned in battles so far. Miraculously, he evaded every strike by the bulkier opponent. The superheated air surrounding it continued to be turned into a regular warmth by the necklace around Alex’s neck.
When he felt the wind in his back, Alex suddenly turned his strategy to hyper-aggression. The Cataclysmic Greatsword swung in a wide arc, its width almost like a sail, the storm lending extra power to his brawn.
It was the same storm that delivered Alex from harm, the same wind that slowed the counterpunch of the monster enough that the man of the island could twist his body out of the way as his sword dug once more into the side of the monster.
The greatsword sliced deep into the viscous, molten mass. The wound he had cleaved before had partially closed, only to be turned into something much more gruesome. The weapon stopped against something hard.
Roaring, Alex clenched the grip around the heft of his weapon. His biceps bulged as he put his entire might into dragging the weapon further through the monstrosity.
“Free… me… free… me…” the elemental entity gurgled, even as it gripped the blade with both hands. It tried desperately to prevent Alex’s weapon from digging even deeper - to no avail.
With one more shout of exertion, the titan of a man shattered the hard core. The sword was yanked free, emerging on the other side of the elemental, pulling with it molten rock and red, crystal shards.
The elemental became inanimate instantly. Its form pushed out abundant heat in a wave of bright but harmless flame. The molten rock cooled to a brittle statue within a few blinks, then gravity fully asserted itself. The separated upper half dropped to the ground, the lower half toppling over a moment later. Porous stone broke on impact.
Alex stared at the remnants of the creature, then swung his sword carefully down. More rock burst, letting the red crystal in its centre separate out.
It was a spherical thing - had been before Alex shattered it - and was universally of a blood-red, opaque material like coloured glass. The man of the island carefully picked it up. Whatever magic had been in it had left the vessel when it had been destroyed.
The pouring rain reminded Alex to step aside. “God…” Valeria muttered as he approached. She half-sounded like she actually meant him with that singular word. The climber was squirming, visibly aroused by the combat she had witnessed. One hand had already made its way between her legs, brushing over a wet pussy.
In that, she was one step behind Niara, who had lowered herself to the ground, mouth open as an invitation to suck him off, and two steps behind Sofia, who had turned her round bottom towards him, while bending over a boulder. The wiggle of her wide hips and the hand on her ass, spreading her swollen cunt, were all Alex needed.
As he approached, his cock rose rapidly to full mast. The ground trembled when he planted the greatsword, still thrumming with titanic power. He placed the crystal down next to it. His blood rushed in his veins, dense with the rush of a battle won without an injury taken. “I’ll use you to celebrate my victory,” Alex stated, while grabbing Sofia by the waist.
“Please do, Master,” the Estonian woman swooned, then screamed loudly into the forest when he thrust into her. She was used to his size, yet she was too tight to hurry the motion. His paw of a hand looked even more massive in combination with her slender back. His thumbs almost touched, holding her by the inwards swing of her athletic midriff.
After a few glorious seconds of penetrating her, he hilted against her ass. He kept pushing, going as deep as he could, watching the twin spheres of her ass flatten against his hard muscles.
“Fuck your sex slave hard, if it pleases you, Master!” Sofia’s submissive tone was high-pitched, drenched like her pussy was from her intense arousal. “I a-am the sheathe for your desires! Pull… pull my hair! Dominate me!”
When a cocksleeve said so clearly what she wanted, a dom could do nothing but oblige. Her very long hair was easily bundled up in one hand. Wavy stranded were rolled once around Alex’s hand, turning it into impromptu reins. Sofia’s head was forced to tilt back. Her eyelids fluttered, the intersection of pain and pleasure melting her brain.
Alex experienced something quite similar. The reverent grip of her pussy was a constant reminder that she was his property by her will. When he pulled back, she moaned in lust and loss, craving to have him fill her completely. When he slammed back into her tight cunt, she screamed with bliss and fulfilment, her clenching folds trying their best to persuade him to stay inside her forever. They partly succeeded.
Swift, shallow thrusts was the rhythm Alex managed. Even sliding more than halfway from her pussy felt like a crime against his animal desires. All his being was strained, eager to unload inside her as quick as possible, to leave a mark of his survival deep in her womb. This impatience approach found its perfect compliment in how aroused Sofia was, how easily she came.
Niara wordlessly partook in the scene, having crawled between Sofia’s legs. The tongue of the wolf woman wandered up and down Sofia’s thighs, lapping up overflowing pussy juices between licks of cock and clit.
Valeria watched the whole scene from the side, assuming the lookout duty alongside Carnia. He would reward the cat woman for her patience in another hour of the day.
Alex’s thrusts accelerated to a blur. Every time he smacked against Sofia’s ass, raindroplets were sent flying. Nothing in his old life had prepared Alex for just how liberating it was to have sex in a rainstorm, just how good it felt to physically defend his women from harm. Primal instincts guided his motions, right up until the final moment.
Yanking Sofia’s hair, plunging into her one last time, he made her scream with masochistic delight even before his cum pumped into her eager womb. What was an orgasm became raw ecstasy. Squirting juices covered Niara’s face, while Alex felt a different kind of thunder crackle up and down his spine.
Every tightening of his balls was another note in the crescendo of wild freedom, Her ass, her face, her screams, they all coaxed out of him every drop he had to give. A woman like her deserved everything.
“I love you, Sofia,” he sighed as he pulled out. In the afterglow of her climax, the fencer turned a different kind of red. Embarrassment and glee mixed with pure pleasure into a very unique kind of squirming.
“I-i-i l-l-l-love you t-t-too!” she stammered, as she sunk to the ground.
“That - was - adorable!”
The three words caught everyone’s attention, because they did not belong to any of them. They all turned to face some kind of hovering, green light ball with four insectoid wings.
“Get me berries!”
“A fairy?” Niara wondered out loud.
“A weak one,” Valeria added. Of that there was no doubt. Whatever this was, it lacked any kind of greater presence of mischief or wrongness.
“Get me berries!” it said for the second time.
“Who are you? Can you tell us anything about this island?” Alex investigated. It had been very rare that he encountered something that he could speak to on this island and usually such encounters were time-gated due to the influence of that undead entity.
“Get me berries and I might tell you something!” the fairy giggled, then dashed away between the trees. “I’ll be around here! If you have berries!” Its voice echoed from the leaves.
Alex scratched the back of his head in confusion, then sighed. “I’ll keep it in mind.”
They went towards the southwest next, bit for bit clearing out the gaps in the mental map that Alex had of the island.
The gap between the trees that he had seen before turned to be a plain. Flat or at least mostly flat land was hardly a new sight on these islands, but there were two things about this that made it highly unusual. For one, it was surrounded by the jungle on seemingly all sides.
The reason for this massive gap was clear in the thick cover of ash that choked out all life in the area. Rain turned the charred particles into a coarse slurry, incredibly unpleasant to walk through. The heat that had created all of this ash felt like it was coming from below. The very floor was hot. In some places, this heat was enough to turn the falling rain into pillars of steam.
Alex put one foot in front of the other, only for a rumble to immediately make him stumble back. His weight had loosened something beneath the ground and a pocket of hot gases ripped upwards in response. While the necklace took the bite out of the heat, the ash and sharp stones catapulted upwards could still have marred his skin.
“Maybe we should turn around,” Valeria suggested.
Alex could see the point in that. This was dangerous, especially in the pouring rain. Their visibility was limited and the constant influx of water threatened to kickstart chain reactions beneath their feet at any moment.
Perhaps it would be for the best to leave this area to be explored another day, turn around and get back where they came from.
