Madam Perry let out a deep sigh and carefully peeked through the tall flower stand where she had hidden herself.

When she saw Paul walking away, relief washed over her like a cool breeze " Thank God and heaven!!!"

She almost smiled and started to turn away, but then he stopped suddenly and glanced over his shoulder. Her heart almost jump into her throat. "Shit!" she whispered, nearly crying out. She grabbed Madeline’s arm and pulled her deeper into the shadows.

Madeline looked stunned. The man was far away and not even facing them directly. She felt a hundred percent sure he had not seen them at all. "But he’s not..." she started to say.

Madam Perry stopped at the nearest exit and turned to her tiredly. "Go home, Madeline. I will meet you later. He already senses me."

Madeline frowned even deeper, confusion written all over her face. "What?" This whole situation was driving her crazy already.

What exactly was going on with Madam Perry and these mysterious people? It felt like everyone around her had secrets bigger than she could imagine. She’s not used to this side of her!

Madam Perry rolled her eyes. "I will be fine!" she suddenly yelled, which made Madeline jumped. The woman softened her voice right away. "Sorry. I don’t want him to see me with you. It might affect you badly."

Madeline nodded slowly, though worry still filled her eyes. She turned around and pulled out her phone to call Miranda or Oliver seventh times. Both numbers went straight to voicemail. She sighed and wondered what was wrong with them tonight. Everything felt strange!!

" What’s exactly is happening?" she murmured.

Madam Perry hurried off in the opposite direction, constantly looking over her shoulder. "Oh no, no, no. Not again!" she muttered. She ran up the stairs toward a quiet balcony, moving as fast as her legs would carry her.

When she reached the end of the walkway, a solid wall blocked her path. "Shit!" she grunted, clenching her fists tight. The only way out now seemed impossible. She could not go back the way she came, and she had no way to pass through the wall or simply disappear. "Why... why again?" she growled through gritted teeth.

"Well, what do we have here?" a cold, deep voice said from behind her.

Madam Perry froze. She clenched her fists harder and slowly turned around. There stood the one face she had promised herself she would never see again in her entire life. Paul looked even more mature now, with sharp features that made her stomach twist in a mix of fear and something else she did not want to name.

"My gosh, Paul... You are more matured," she forced out a laugh. In her mind she added, ’ and deadly handsome’ . She swallowed hard.

Paul’s eyes grew colder. "Didn’t I tell you not to call me that again?"

Madam Perry took an automatic step back. He used to say those exact words years ago. But it was still his name, wasn’t it?

...

In the beautiful guest room, Abigail stood with her arms folded, staring at Henry. For some reason, the small fear she once felt around him had completely vanished. His piercing blue eyes stared back at her from behind the black lace mask, framed by thick lashes. She found herself thinking he actually looked kind of cute like this. A small smile crept onto her face.

Henry’s frown deepened. "What’s funny?" He wondered if the drug was turning her into some kind of fearless psychopath.

Abigail’s smile only grew bigger. "Are you jealous, Draco?" She stepped closer to him with more confidence than she had ever shown before. "Looks like you are breaking your own rules, sir." she even giggled. She’s the type who loves games.

Henry raised one eyebrow. "So be it. He will be taken away tomorrow." He turned to leave the room as if the conversation was over.

Abigail’s smile disappeared in an instant. She quickly grabbed his arm. "Wait, what?" She looked up at him in total disbelief. "What will you do to him?"

Henry grabbed her jaw gently but firmly and lifted it so she had to meet his eyes. "Didn’t I tell you I don’t share? Whether it’s a contract marriage or not... I own you, Abigail."

Abigail frowned as Selena’s words from earlier echoed in her head. She slapped his hand away. "I have the right to decide on my own!" In a bold move, she grabbed his tie and pulled him along with her.

Henry looked stunned but followed anyway. Abigail could not help laughed at the situation. She switched on all the bright lights in the room. "Do you know how long I have been with Oliver and Archie? I can handle you Henry" She pulled him toward a sturdy table at the side of the room and hopped up to sit on it.

"What are you doing?" Henry asked, raising an eyebrow again.

Abigail glanced at his mask and smiled playfully. "Don’t tell me you are scared?"

Henry sighed and placed both hands on the table, one on each side of her, trapping her there. Abigail forced out a laugh and leaned back a little. Other girls might have thought this was romantic, but she knew better. He was clearly daring her to keep pushing.

She looked straight at him and smiled. "How did you get my pictures?"

Henry stared at her for a long moment before frowning. "Is that even a question?"

Abigail held his gaze. Her hand moved slowly toward his mask. She paused halfway, waiting to see if he would stop her. He did not move at all, as if he did not care what she did next.

She swallowed nervously and pulled the mask away completely. Her hand froze in mid-air as she stared at his face in shock. She had expected scars or burns, something dark and frightening. Instead, she saw an innocent, clean, and smooth face of a very good-looking man with those same piercing blue eyes.

"Micheal?" she whispered in disbelief.

Henry smirked. "You shouldn’t have removed the mask."
