Tamiko looked at his Erasthai, and this time, he wasn’t sure if there was another hallucination. He had gotten tired of fighting but at the same time, he was okay with whatever was coming for him.
With his humanity off, he did not have to care about anyone. He didn’t have to think about anything else, and that was the best of relief for him. He couldn’t deny that the issue with Kosta was tempting him to lean in.
It was a desire that even he could fight, and he knew it.
He wanted to lean in, to fit into the emotions that had surfaced, but he couldn’t. he knew what this would turn out to be, especially now that they didn’t talk yet about the past six days, let alone the evening that had fucked them up.
Maybe they would be acting like life was okay and healthy.
Tamiko was not opposed to that though. He had suffered, and he didn’t want to be thrust back into the chaos again. He had had enough, and in a month, he would probably turn his humanity back on.
That was the only thing that had driven him crazy more than once, and he refused to play that twisted game of fates anymore... at least for a while now.
"I see you’re awake," Tamiko said when they pulled back. His eyes held no emotions for the man he had once loved with all of him. It was like that was just another episode that he figured he couldn’t be rude to, but one thing he needed to keep close.
