One day a baby was born shining like a lightbulb, the "first" recorded instance of what will later be referred to as a Quirk. This new and sudden mutation in the human genome flipped the world upside down and ushered in an era of chaos. More or less a hundred years later and society has returned to relative peace, now with actual heroes and villains... but of course with such powers now available the United States' Military Industrial Complex would want to weaponize this development.
    How "fortunate" where they that they happen to receive some eugenic scientists after the 1940s where they worked and eventually gave the United States their weapon, a child they named Adam #101522.
