I Became a Demon Sword and Traveled the Anime Worlds

Chapter 176: A Familiar Scene

"Then I'll recruit him into the Blizzard Group first."

Fubuki's face remained cold as she turned and left with Eyelashes and Mountain Ape.

The three of them got into the car and headed toward the Ghost Town of City Z.

After they left, Satoru Suzuki once again stood alone in the empty plaza.

He lowered his gaze to the sword in his hand, quietly reflecting on the strike he had just released.

Inside the sword, Asuramaru had seen everything clearly.

"Creating Light Breathing based on Thunder Breathing?"

Among all the Sword Masters he had encountered before, Satoru Suzuki seemed to be the first to accomplish something like this.

It successfully caught Asuramaru's attention.

It even stirred a trace of curiosity in him.

"If you refuse to rely on slaughter to grow stronger, then just how far can you go?"

At the same time, inside the Ghost Town of City Z.

Saitama's apartment was as plain and cramped as ever.

In the kitchen, the S Class Hero Genos was wearing a pink apron while carefully washing dishes.

The image was oddly domestic.

But halfway through, Genos's expression suddenly changed.

Something was approaching at high speed.

This speed is not normal.

Is it a Monster?

He turned his head and looked toward the room, where Saitama was still sitting in front of the television, completely absorbed in a video game.

After a brief pause, Genos silently removed his apron.

I'll deal with it myself.

It is also a good chance to test the performance of my new parts.

He walked out onto the balcony.

Standing there, Genos looked toward the end of the building on the right and spoke in a low voice.

"Come out."

The moment his voice fell, Sonic leapt from the shadows and landed on the balcony.

He stood upright and looked at the cyborg before him with cold eyes.

"I received information that Saitama lives here."

Human?

Seeing the newcomer, Genos asked expressionlessly, "Are you a friend of Master Saitama?"

Sonic slowly stepped forward.

"I am Speed o' Sound Sonic, Saitama's eternal rival."

His tone was full of arrogance.

"I came here today to settle things with him. Now that you know, get out of my way."

Genos searched his memory.

That familiar yet strange name soon returned to him.

"Speed o' Sound Sonic?"

His eyes turned sharp.

"To dare call yourself Master's rival, you truly are shameless."

Genos raised his right hand.

Energy began to gather in his palm.

"Take one more step, and I will eliminate you."

Sonic sneered and casually took several shuriken from his sleeve.

"The one who should be eliminated is you, tagalong."

The air between them became tense at once.

In the next moment, both of them moved to the street below.

Sonic flicked his wrist.

The shuriken shot out.

"Exploding Shuriken!"

After repeated enhancements, Sonic's arm strength had reached a terrifying level. Even the shuriken he threw nearly reached the speed of sound.

They tore through the air and arrived before Genos in an instant.

Genos raised his right arm.

"Incinerate."

The energy gathered in his palm erupted.

Scorching flames transformed into a blazing beam that swallowed everything in its path, instantly vaporizing the incoming shuriken.

Facing the rushing beam of fire, Sonic's figure blurred.

He vanished from the spot and reappeared atop a nearby streetlight.

Looking down at Genos from above, Sonic spoke coldly.

"Before I fight Saitama, I'll use you as practice."

Genos clenched his fists.

"Big words for a stalker."

The two immediately began a fierce battle.

A while later, Fubuki and her group finally arrived in the Ghost Town.

Looking at the dilapidated street before her, Fubuki frowned with obvious displeasure.

"I can't believe someone actually lives in a place like this."

As she spoke, the three of them made their way to the fourth floor.

Eyelashes stepped forward and knocked on the door.

"B Class Rank 108 Hero, Saitama! Please come out!"

A moment later, the door opened.

Saitama stood behind it with his usual blank expression.

"If this is about the newspaper, I already have one."

"We're not salesmen!"

Mountain Ape frowned and immediately retorted, "We're heroes ranked higher than you!"

Fubuki then stepped forward and repeated what she had said to Satoru Suzuki.

But the answer she received was Saitama's blunt refusal.

"If you act like this, what's the difference between you and a mob boss?"

He scratched his cheek.

"Besides, I'll be promoted to A Class soon. And anyway, why do heroes even need factions?"

Those familiar words echoed in Fubuki's ears.

Her face turned cold.

"Eyelashes. Mountain Ape."

Her voice sharpened.

"Make sure he can never work as a hero again. Teach him a lesson."

The two beside her immediately stepped forward with aggressive expressions.

What greeted them was an unremarkable punch from Saitama.

In the next moment, both figures flew through the air and crashed directly down to the street below.

Fubuki did not even have time to react.

For some reason, she felt that this scene seemed a little familiar.

Saitama stood where he was and looked at her with a stern face.

"You won't survive in this world if you keep acting like that."

His voice remained plain, but his words were direct.

"If you think gathering a bunch of people weaker than you makes you stronger, then you don't deserve to call yourself a hero."

He looked at her steadily.

"And rankings? Those don't matter at all."

His expression became slightly more serious.

"Don't look down on heroes."

Hearing that voice ring in her ears again and again, Fubuki's anger finally erupted.

"Shut up!"

Her eyes sharpened.

"What do you know about me?!"

Psychokinesis burst out from her body.

Dust, broken stones, and debris around them rose into the air and formed a violent tornado.

The vortex swallowed Saitama and slammed him down onto the ruined street below.

But when the dust settled, Saitama was still standing there completely unharmed.

Fubuki, who had also descended to the street, froze in shock.

At that exact moment, the two people who had been fighting elsewhere returned.

Sonic and Genos landed nearby.

Their arrival was accompanied by a massive explosion.

Fortunately, Saitama stood in front of Fubuki, blocking the blast and saving her life.

Smoke and dust rolled through the street.

Saitama immediately saw Genos, who had lost an arm.

Genos looked forward with a serious expression.

"Sorry, Master. I made a mess of the area in front of your house with all this smoke."

"That part's fine."

Saitama waved it off, then looked at the cleanly severed arm.

"But what happened to your arm?"

"An annoying fly cut it off," Genos replied coldly.

In the next moment, Sonic's figure emerged from the smoke.

The instant he saw Saitama, his lips curled into a smirk.

"Saitama."

His eyes burned with excitement.

"If you don't want to watch your disciple get dismantled by me, then come and fight."

Sonic's hand moved toward the sword at his waist.

"I will wash away the humiliation you gave me."

Genos immediately stepped forward.

"Master, leave this stalker to me..."

Before he could finish, Saitama walked past him with a dark expression.

"Sonic, you really are kind of annoying."

He stopped in the middle of the ruined street.

"I'll play with you for a bit. Come at me."

"I've been waiting for this moment!"

Sonic gripped the hilt of his sword.

"Let me show you the results of the slaughter and training I endured just for you!"

"All right."

Saitama's eyes perked up slightly.

"Then show me."

Compared to those two, Fubuki sat on the ground in a daze.

Her heart was filled with confusion.

The S Class Hero Genos...

Is the disciple of B Class Saitama?
