I Will Conquer and rule the World as trash prince

Chapter 54 WHO Are you my Wife??!

The night wind blew hard.

A storm hit the open sea. The giant red wooden ship split the towering waves. Lightning struck, illuminating the night sky and the row of majestic Eastern style multi story buildings standing on the ship's deck.

At the edge of the deck, Aldes leaned weakly against the railing. Both of his hands tightly gripped the thick wood. His face was deadly pale.

"Huek."

Shit, shit, Aldes thought. I thought this body was strong against drinking. Turns out it is only this much? Is the reputation of Aldes liking to get drunk just a hoax?

"Huek."

Aldes vomited the contents of his stomach into the dark ocean below. The fierce swinging of the waves combined with drinking too much alcohol completely destroyed his body's balance. His breath was ragged, holding back the nausea twisting his stomach.

Beside him, Leafa stood close. The girl stared straight at Aldes. Her palm moved slowly, rubbing Aldes's back up and down, providing a little warmth.

Heavy rain fell endlessly, accompanied by the sound of the howling wind. However, not a single drop of storm water wet their clothes.

Exactly one meter above their heads, a transparent magic energy layer stretched wide forming a protective dome. Hundreds of liters of rainwater hit the magic surface hard, creating a rumbling sound like water crashing into glass, then sliding down heavily to the side of the deck. The transparent shield kept Aldes and Leafa dry and isolated from the raging weather around them.

Aldes looked down again. He spat into the sea then massaged his throbbing temples.

"You should not have forced yourself," Leafa said.

The girl sighed softly. "After training that hard, then drinking that much, plus you easily get seasick. After all, your body is still in the level thirties."

"Ugh, yes. I am wrong. I am wrong. Be quiet, I know I am wrong," Aldes said with a tight breath.

Once his condition felt slightly better, he took a deep breath, regulating the oxygen supply to his lungs, then turned his head to Leafa.

"Thank you."

Leafa smiled. She raised her hand and pinched Aldes's cheek gently without saying anything.

Aldes fell silent staring at the rain hitting their magic shield. Come to think of it, why did it suddenly rain? Is this Villavia's doing? Why did he make it rain? Is he just being playful?

Aldes narrowed his eyes. No, even if he was not the one who made it rain, he could just say 'rain, stop'. Agh, he did it on purpose. That bastard probably let this storm happen on purpose.

Leafa released her pinch and stood upright. "Let us go back, Aldes. You need to rest."

"Ugh, why are you starting to boss me around like this. Who are you, my mother? My wife?" Aldes replied sharply, but he still released his grip from the railing and stood upright.

"I think wife, Darlin," Leafa answered with a very soft tone of voice.

Leafa's steps suddenly stopped. She fell silent and turned sharply toward the front of the ship.

"Monster."

Aldes also turned his head following Leafa's gaze. "Huh?"

Leafa narrowed her eyes piercing through the darkness of the storm. "The level is high. Fifty? No. Sixty? No."

Leafa moved her position one step forward. "Seventy?"

"One hundred?"

Aldes stared at Leafa's back with a confused face. "Huh, what one hundred? Eighty? What are you saying."

Leafa turned around quickly. Both of her hands immediately muffled and covered both of Aldes's ears very tightly.

"Darlin!"

Ggrrraaaarrrghhh!

A giant roar echoed, splitting the ocean. The sound wave was so strong that it made the air vibrate and the ship's deck creak.

Crash!

Lightning struck brightly on the horizon. The bluish white light exposed a giant silhouette that had just risen from the bottom of the ocean. A massive sized octopus monster with a head resembling a thick scaled ancient lizard stared straight at the ship. Its giant tentacles filled with thick muscles wriggled slowly, breaking the waves around it.

Aldes's pupils shrank instantly. His body froze. The monster was much larger than the size of the giant yacht they were riding.

"Twice as big," Aldes muttered quietly. His jaw hardened. "I forget this is a fantasy world sometimes."

Aldes took a deep breath, trying to stabilize his wildly racing heartbeat.

Leafa stared straight at the monster. "That, might be level two hundred," Leafa muttered very quietly.

Aldes turned his head slowly staring at Leafa's face. "Two hundred? What do you mean? Two hundred? Are you joking?" His pupils trembled holding back absolute disbelief.

Inside the upper level cabin room of the ship.

The cabin atmosphere was very warm and luxurious. The interior was coated in precisely carved dark wood. The dim light from the corner lanterns reflected on the polished shiny wooden floor. Across the room, a large glass window framed the view of the raging ocean outside.

In the middle of the room, a highly ornamented chess board lay on top of a wooden table. Two thick velvet chairs faced each other.

Villavia sat in one of those chairs. He moved his chess piece forward. The man was playing chess against himself.

A pink haired woman with a pair of curved dragon horns on her head stood near the large glass window. Her eyes stared at the shadow of the giant tentacle monster struck by lightning in the distance.

The dragon woman let out a long breath. "I assume this is your doing, Prince."

Villavia smiled softly. He did not answer immediately. The room fell silent again, only interspersed with the muffled rumbling sound of the storm from behind the thick glass.

Villavia stayed silent for quite a long time observing his board formation, before his index finger slowly pushed his pawn forward.

He fell silent again. His hand then changed direction and moved his opponent's pawn forward.

"bored," Villavia said with a very calm tone of voice.
