Chapter 52 Toba ragnazikri baby!
The night wind blew sweeping across the stone floor of the open pavilion at the top of the castle. Beyond the stone fence boundary, mountain silhouettes stretched wide under the night sky decorated with a crescent moon and thin clouds. The room was illuminated by the orange glow of traditional lanterns hanging between the supporting wooden pillars.
On the dark wooden wall at the back, a giant Eastern dragon emblem carving emitted a golden light from the crevices of its sculpt. Low seats cushioned with thick dark red, emerald green, and purple velvet pillows blended together around the wooden tables.
Several female servants stepped closer to the guests. These servants had long white hair and a pair of curved black dragon horns on their heads. They wore neat black and white traditional clothing. Their hands moved slowly pouring drinks into the cups on the wooden tables.
The guests were five high ranking dragon officials. They wore pristine white robes ornamented with silver threads. Two officials had orange hair with black horns, while the other three officials had black hair with red horns. They sat leaning their backs on the velvet pillows, smiling, and drinking their drinks.
In the middle of the room, the Dragon Emperor sat leaning back casually. He was Toba Ragnazikri. The man had slightly messy blonde hair with bangs and bright golden eyes. He wore all black silk clothing.
Toba laughed cheerfully while holding his cup. "Hahaha, Villavia is the best, the best, the best," Toba said. "Damn it."
He looked up staring at the pavilion ceiling. "Even I am afraid to make eye contact with that human king. That man's gaze looks like I owe him a debt. Really."
One of the orange haired officials lowered his cup. "Can he be trusted, Your Majesty?"
The black haired official next to him nodded. "Lord Han is right, Your Majesty. We must start planning a backup plan in case that king betrays us."
Lord Han returned the official's gaze. "An idea worth considering. Humans are deceitful and weak creatures. We might have to seek help from other races like demons and rituks."
Toba stopped drinking. He placed his cup on the table. The sound of wood colliding was heard softly. His golden eyes stared sharply at the dragon officials one by one. The room suddenly fell silent.
"You are telling me to make a plan to stop a man who almost conquered the entire continent?"
"No, no."
"Are you doubting Villavia or humans?" Toba asked quietly. "Are you doubting me?"
Some officials there were at a loss for words. They lowered their heads, looking under the table to avoid the Emperor's gaze.
Toba leaned his head on his left palm. "The humans you know might not be from Elfier."
He narrowed his eyes. "He is Tominus. Someone who chooses death over breaking his words. Their military power is far more terrifying than what you know."
Toba pointed using his cup and spoke with a heavy voice. "Do not underestimate them."
Thud.
Toba slammed the wooden table softly. "I invited you here to celebrate my son's success, not to doubt him. What is wrong with you."
He scratched his head. "Sigh, what a mess, what a mess. You are more worried about my plan for the Husa clan than your plans for your respective kingdoms."
The pupils of the five dragon officials immediately shrank. Cold sweat began to pour down their foreheads.
"Your Majesty?" Lord Han said with a trembling voice.
When they were about to move to stand up, their bodies were held back. They completely could not move their hands and legs.
"What... what is."
"Your Majesty, what is the meaning of this!"
The other officials began to panic. They squirmed hard, forcing their muscles trying to move their bodies on the velvet pillows.
Toba stood up casually from his seat. "Oh my."
He pointed at Lord Han's face. "Rituk. You are a rituk." Toba shifted his index finger to the three black haired officials alternately. "Demon, demon, and demon."
"And randirururuururu." The Emperor sang softly with a cheerful tone.
Clap.
Toba clapped his hands once. "Three kingdoms working together to kill me? No. To spy on me? No. To fight dragons? No." Toba turned his head to the white haired servant beside him. "What is it?"
"War, Your Majesty. The correct one is war," the servant answered flatly.
"Yes, yes, war! Three kingdoms uniting for a war against us? Wow."
Swish.
Toba threw a thick liquor bottle from the table straight at one of the black haired officials.
Bam!
The bottle smashed his face. The official's head shattered. After his skull was crushed, the fake skin on the corpse's body peeled off and immediately burned down to ashes.
"Damn it. Your magic is so good that I almost did not notice," Toba said. "You should have been spies for me instead. Goodness."
Toba walked approaching one of the orange haired officials. The official stared at Toba with panicked bulging eyes. He seemed to want to say something, but his mouth was held tightly shut by magic.
"What? What? Do you want to take a shit? Or die? What? What?" Toba asked while pressing his palm to his right ear, pretending to listen.
Toba sighed.
Swish. Bam!
"Speak properly, idiot!"
Toba kicked the official's neck extremely hard. The official's head was severed from his neck and thrown far away. Fresh blood squirted, soaking the velvet pillow and wooden table. After being severed, the rest of the dragon official's body immediately burned completely.
Toba tidied up his black clothing using both hands. He stepped toward the pavilion's exit.
"You try to extract information from the rest of their bodies using whatever means, after that kill them slowly. Okay?" Toba ordered without looking back.
The white haired servants bowed and nodded.
"With pleasure, Your Majesty."
Toba smiled broadly and satisfied. "Thanks, thanks."
He stopped his steps, turned around, and walked toward the female servants. He kissed their foreheads one by one.
"I love you all! I love you allllll!" Toba cheered happily.
The servants' cheeks flushed red. "Yes, Your Majesty."
"Bye, bye bye." The Emperor waved his hand then stepped away leaving the pavilion which was now covered in blood.
