Chapter 106: Principles of the Field of Consciousness
The Consciousness Field Receiver is constructed on the flat ground south of the Wandering Base.
It occupies about one third of the entire Wandering Base, covering an area of 30,000 square kilometers and is an incredibly vast Super Matrix.
Within this colossal Super Matrix, three million metal stands are evenly distributed, each fixed with copper rings a hundred meters thick.
Whenever the Consciousness Field Receiver is powered on, these thick copper wires on the metal stands release an exceedingly strong electromagnetic force, forming an electromagnetic field, and press towards the center, simulating the Gravity Field formed by a massive celestial body.
The Gravity Field compresses space to a certain extent, making it easier for space-time vibrations to be caught by this compressed space. To be precise, it attracts them like water being drawn toward a vortex.
By this point, the task of capturing space-time vibrations is essentially completed.
Speaking of which, this part isn’t actually difficult; the challenge is in deciphering the meaning within these vibrations.
Because the amplitude of space-time vibrations is extremely small, only one billionth the oscillation frequency of an Electron.
This is why the Universe vibrates incessantly, yet people cannot feel it. Such a level of vibration is too weak to make any discernible difference; detecting such minute vibrations and interpreting their meaning would certainly not be possible by biological civilization alone.
Hence, Earth Civilization uses Photon Detectors to detect space-time vibrations.
