My Overpowered Demon System

Chapter 123 124: Update: Azrael 2.0

Camela sat in front of the bar, smoking her cigarette silently.

In front of her was a half-filled cup of whiskey.

"Why are you here alone?" Azrael asked, sitting beside her.

Camela shook her head. "I am thinking of our next destination," she replied.

"Oh," Azrael replied.

"Here, try one," she said, offering Azrael a cigarette.

Azrael raised a brow.

But then he took it.

"One wouldn't hurt," he said.

"A lot of people say that; only a few of them manage to keep that promise," Camela said.

Azrael shrugged as he lit the cigarette's butt with a quick spark of lightning.

A short drag. That was all it took before Azrael began coughing violently.

"Hey, do you want to cough out your organs?" Camela asked, not sparing Azrael a second glance even as he grimaced from taking the drag.

The barmaid chuckled at this sight.

"Seems like you brought in a total newbie, Camela," she said with a smile as she approached both of them. "Very rarely do I see boys his age who cannot smoke."

"I know," Camela said with a long sigh while twirling a strand of her hair. "I am sure he had never drunk before… And," she did not complete the words at first. But the direction of her eyes said it all.

"He is probably still a virgin."

[I guess the system is not the only one getting an update,] Aria said. [Host, get ready for life 2.0]

Azrael did not respond to both Aria and Camela.

He continued to smoke the cigarette.

After the first choking, he had gotten the hang of it. At least, enough to not choke again.

"Mirabel," Camela called. "Get us rum, whiskey, and beer."

Azrael looked at Camela, his brows twitching.

"Here's white rum," she said, passing the cup.

"Whiskey," she said, passing another cup.

Finally, she dropped a single bottle on the table.

"Azrael, on this table," Camela said, raising her own glass of whiskey above her head. "You take your very first step to becoming a man."

She looked at Azrael and tilted her head slightly to signal the whisky.

Azrael sighed.

He picked it up and hit her glass with a soft clink.

"Cheers to a new and better life," Camela yelled as she poured the whiskey into her mouth.

Azrael took a low exhale before mirroring her.

And so the night went on.

Camela made Azrael try every drink the bar had to offer.

From wines to champagne to beer, Azrael was made to drink at least a glass of each one.

"Why is it so intoxicating?" Azrael groaned.

He was at tier 6; his body was meant to be breaking all of these faster than they could take effect.

"Don't worry, it is just an effect of the building that slows metabolism," Camela said, dropping her glass on the table with a thud. "Once you are out of here, it should clear out."

Azrael nodded, staggering slightly on his chair as he gestured for Mirabel to come closer.

"Two glasses of champagne," he said.

Mirabel pulled the bottle from the refrigerator and filled two glasses halfway.

Her hand moved with deft precision, pushing both cups towards them.

Azrael stopped it and gave Camela one.

"I raise this toast in remembrance of Azrael 1.0," he yelled.

"Now you are finally getting into the fun," Camela said as their glasses met.

"That was fun," Zephyr said as he reached them with a smile.

"Take, Zephyr," Azrael said before Zephyr could land.

Zephyr raised a brow as he held the glass cup.

He shrugged and downed it.

"Anyway, I won 5 million there," he said with a grin.

"By the time your vacation is finished, you guys will be thanking me for changing your lives," Camela said, her shaky hand dropping the glass on the table.

"To the Fun Mobile," she said, stretching her arm towards the exit.

"Before you leave, your total comes to a million wrath coins," Mirabel said before Camela could stand up.

"Zephyr, settle it," she said, pulling Azrael along with her.

"Me?" Zephyr asked, looking at both of them as they ran out of the casino.

"If you wish to pay in credits, that would be a thousand credits," Mirabel said with a smile.

Zephyr looked at her, and a calm smile formed on his lips.

"When does your shift end?" He whispered, leaning closer.

Mirabel raised her brows, then she smiled.

"I don't do such things with customers."

Zephyr shook his head slowly before dropping a pouch of wrath coins on the table.

"Okay."

He turned back and walked towards the exit.

"What took you so long?" Camela yelled from within the car as Zephyr came outside.

"I was counting," he replied, entering the car calmly.

Camela squinted her brows as if checking for something on Zephyr.

"Okay."

She turned towards Alfred, who sat behind the wheel like a robot.

"To the strip club," she yelled, stretching her hand through the car's window.

Alfred nodded, igniting the car's engine.

"Strip club?" Azrael asked, leaning forward.

"Let's go," Zephyr yelled from behind, shaking the driver's seat from excitement.

"Seems like Zephyr is more of a man than you," Camela said with a chuckle. "Don't worry, the strip club is hosting an event this night too; we will be spending about 2 hours there."

The car zoomed out of the place.

[Enjoy it, dummy, maybe you might finally lose your virginity.]

'Shut up,' Azrael whimpered.

The system replied with a laughter emoji.

Soon, the car began to slow down in an alley.

"Why are you stopping?" Azrael asked, looking out of the window.

"The strip club, dummy," Camela said, slamming the door as she got out of the car.

Standing outside, she walked towards the wall.

Azrael and Zephyr reached her and stared at her with a sigh.

The way she was doing it made it obvious that the strip club was a hidden one.

"Yup," she finally said, pushing a block in.

A loud rumbling sound followed as the wall slid to the side.
