Chapter 108: Settling In & Sect Duties? by Harem-Fan

The official town home was being settled in quickly, as all of the disciples carried everything they owned in storage devices...

Owen assigned this nearby home to my home for the Second Elder to place her Safe-Haven Portal magic, so we won't disrupt anyone as we come and go in the future.

Owen was kind enough to even place Knights to protect the outside area.

Westerners copied the storage rings from the easterners countless years ago, so Space Rings and Flying Boats are a bit more common over there.

Sadly, both the West and East Humans hadn't unlocked enlarging magical living areas in tents, carriages, and homes yet. (This is common on the other side of Myst with those Humans.)

Angelica, Shehuang, Baihu, and I are sitting on the living-room couch.

Across from us is the elegant Elder Ku Mu, who is watching one of their inner sect Beastmaster disciples making tea.

The woman was a blushing Yin Cang, who has long brown hair and green eyes, and looks a bit like Yin Meng. (Racial stereotyping here as Yin Meng is the standard cultivation-fairy look for eastern women.)

"Senior Brother, here is your tea... You look more handsome since the last time we met, it must be due to your higher Circle level? I hit 5th Circle and can't sense you anymore?"

I pointed and said.

"Right! Sorry, I almost forgot, but you had a Demonic White Tiger and I believe your name was Yin Cang, right?"

The reason Yin Cang, who thought I was an idiot before, is so flustered is due to my body's changes, as my looks and temperament changed after getting the Pure Yang Body.

"You even remembered my name, I am happy, haha. I will go now, Senior Brother."

Bang~! As she turned to leave with a good impression, she comically whacked her leg on the coffee table while leaving.

Baihu teased her junior sister.

"Loki, that is the girl you saved with her Dao Companion. She lives on the female-only Fox Peak and is one of the disciples under the First Elder. She was still only an inner disciple till she met you, than Elder Wan Meidi took her in when she knew you, hehe."

Ku Mu then added while sipping her green tea they brought.

"The First Elder, Wan Meidi, is the core Beastmaster and Gu Cultivator of our sect. You could say she is the real backbone of our Demonic Sect, and the reason we are also known as the Beastmaster Sect..."

"I am the Alchemist, Pill Refiner, Immortal Physician, and the sects herbalist and growing of our medicine herbs. We have other elders past the first three, but they take care of the oddballs and Immortal Cultivator women's training..."

"Elder Wan Meidi has "convinced" Sect Master Long Aotian to step down as your nominal master, and she is now going to become your master, Holy Son, hehe... Good luck with her."

Seeing amusement in her eyes made my spine tingle again, so I asked.

"How did she convince him?"

Ku Mu said with a grin.

"She used her words to explain that you're a Beastmaster, but he denied her by saying he is the Sect Master. Then she beat him in a gambling game, and he played dumb. Then she beat him till he agreed."

"Isn't he under her Love Gu? Why would he refuse her?"

Click~! Ku Mu set her teacup down and said what my books didn't teach me.

"Love Gu is only romantic feelings, it doesn't mind control. Being in love with a selfish, useless, childish, shameless, and lying man doesn't make him a better person, it just means you can't kill him while being forced to love him... He is still a lazy jerk. But I am definitely not talking about Long Aotian, just a random example, haha."

I looked at Shehuang and asked.

"Is your master talking about our Demonic Sect leader? Hey Baihu, what kind of sect did I join? If Long Aotian is like this, what is the rest of our sect like?"

Shehuang smiled, and Baihu blushed, but Ku Mu settled me a bit.

"Elder Wan is the shadow leader of our sect, while Aotian is only the face of our small sect. Actually our Guardian Beast, the Azure Dragon, is Elder Wan Meidi's Summons..."

"Qinglong wanted Long Aotian as the front man of the sect to deal with other Sects, as we are the smallest in population of the eight sects. Although we are small, we have stronger members, as most of us aren't Human..."

"Our power comes from the Four Guardian Beasts, as we also have The White Tiger... Two foes the Emperor fears. The Mermaid Princess Opal Blue has the Black Tortoise, and the Amazons have The Vermilion Bird."

Angelica laughed and told everyone here, startling them all, including Shehuang and Baihu.

"Haha~ Princess Opal Blue is also my Husband's wife, so that means Genbu is your ally as well, giving you three of the Four Guardian Beasts."

Whoosh~! Ku Mu stood in shock, then finally looked at me, who was nodding with a grin, and she said.

"Holy Son, let me set up my Safe-Haven Portal here at this place, and let's go meet the sect leaders right away! This... This is huge!"

Ku Mu didn't even wait for me to agree and ran out into the backyard to set up a save-point?!

Angelica said to me.

"I'll go back home and tell the others what you're doing. Just make sure to come home before bedtime, so be back in eight hours or so. With Shehuang, Taki, and Baihu, your safety getting home is assured."

Mwah~! And with her kiss and a few last words, she cast her teleportation magic...

It took Ku Mu around fifteen minutes to set her location point, and told the disciples we would be back in a few hours...

A fun fact when I asked about the time differences from here to the Demonic Sect, the answer floored me!

The Demonic Sect and Balder Kingdom capital is around a 96 hours time zone difference?! This means it is like four days ahead at the same time using Earth logic?!

When I asked about this strange logic, I was blown away again with what the apparently very old and wise Ku Mu told me.

"The Suns and Moons you see everyday and night aren't the same ones from the day before, but many that rotate Myst in a ring around the planet, as we are the center of the universe."

The planet of Myst is the center?!

No wait, Myst is several times larger than Earth ever was, and since Myst was created by Yggi, I shouldn't lose my shit over it, and just realize I have a normal day and night, sigh...

"Elder Ku Mu, so if its after lunch here, it will still be after lunch in the sect, right?"

She smiled at the fact I figured it out so fast, and nodded.

"It is actually about two hours ahead of the watch you're holding, but not much of a difference, but the sun and moon are the ones that will be seen here in the next four days, got it now?"

Baihu saw me nod and she pouted.

"Loki, it isn't fair! I have the same knowledge you gave me, so why do I not get it?"

"My Baihu, I will build you a model of Myst and the ring of suns and moons later to show you. It is due to my knowledge being a bit outdated for Myst and Yggi's plane makeup."

While both Shehuang and Baihu nodded to my promise, Ku Mu asked with curiosity.

"Yggi, you mean our World Tree?"

Shehuang puffed out the large breasts while hugging my arm and bragged, not seeing the horror in her teacher's dark green eyes.

"Yggi calls Loki, Father, and she calls us both and Taki her Mothers! We met her back during the Royal Secret Realm."

Baihu pouted and said.

"I wasn't with Loki then, so only you and Taki met her, I feel so sad."

Ku Mu looked at me seriously and then handed me a World Tree item and asked.

"Please make something with this piece of World Tree wood?"

It was a piece of green-rune covered grey bark, not as long as a wand, so it was probably just like a splinter that wasn't made into anything.

I thought about what to make, and noticed Ku Mu's hair ornaments, so I made a hair comb with my Greater Life Utility magic.

Buzz~! After my partially transparent (air is clear) red (fire) and green (life) magic faded, a beautiful and nearly indestructible grey wood comb with brighter runes was in my hand.

"Here, now you can use it... But as a Life Element Healer, you should've been able to do this too."

She can shape it, yes, due to being a Life Element and 9th Circle being.

Ku Mu can also strengthen the magic of the wood, with richer runes.

But I am not a 9th Circle Mage.

And she can only do this as the Dryad (Wood Nymph) born and bonded to the World Tree itself, like the Elven Priestess.

And I shouldn't be able to do this at all as a Human under 9th Circle.

Her delicate and trembling hands took it from me and felt it, then she asked an odd question.

"Were you some kind of Tree Spirit in the past, for the World Tree to call you father?"

When I frowned at that question, Shehuang scolded her teacher.

"Teacher Ku, you know our Sect rules, our backgrounds are private. Unless we tell you, don't dig, okay. My Master has secrets we can't tell anyone, including you, Teacher."

She couldn't tell her Lamia disciple why she asked, as a lonely Dryad of the World Tree.

"Shehuang is right, Holy Son... I just have a special connection to the World Tree, and if you ever feel like telling me things about this Yggi, I am very interested in listening over tea... Now let's get ready to go to the sect now... Yin Cang, come with us."

She called over the Summoner standing off to the side to join us, making it five people going to the sect for a short while.

Yin Cang, Ku Mu, Shehuang, and I all touched Baihu as she cast her spell.

"Let my Loki peak on the ladies of Fox Peak,<Safe-Haven Portal: Return>!"

Buzz~! We were all covered in white light after ten seconds, and I felt the environment change...

Eastern Wastelands, Demonic Sect, Fox Peak, Baihu's palace...

A large jade palace on a private peak is set in supernaturally perfect and pure nature.

Its surrounded by serene bamboo forests, bubbling spiritual springs, and lush orchards with sakura trees in bloom and are picturesque.

The air is even cleaner than in the west, as everything here is maintained with Life magic to keep nature perfect for the Holy Maiden at all times.

The Fox Palace is a single story but large white Wuxia style ancient looking building, with grand doors, large windows, and paper screens with artistic personalization for Baihu.

Bang Crash~! But all of this calm beauty and peace was shattered by something tipping over inside Baihu's home.

"Crap! Now I have to pick up all of these damn jade slips, sigh. Where did that girl hide that delicious sake? She is such a stingy Kyuubi! Just wait, when I find your secret stash, hehe..."

Hearing the voice of a mature and sultry woman rambling, while obviously ransacking the house, the ladies with me all had different reactions...

Yin Cang covered her mouth and refused to laugh, scream, or call out... pretending to not know the woman inside.

Shehuang was amused, but also annoyed to let me see this shame.

Elder Ku Mu just sighed like this was normal in the sect.

Baihu however was really annoyed with the woman inside and yelled loudly, to make sure Fox Peak heard it!

"First Elder Wan Meidi, you shameless woman! How dare you break into my home while I was gone!"

After a second, the woman inside yelled in agitation.

"Who the hell dares call me shameless?! Let me catch whoever it is..."

Bang~! The 5'9" tall, tall for an easterner, woman kicked open the doors and stormed out the back-doors, only to freeze seeing us.

"Oh-my Baihu~! Ku Mu?! Why are you guys back so soon? I thought you wanted to bring my disciple back..."

Dark blue-green eyes swept past Shehuang and Yin Cang and landed on me!

She has long dark hair, like many of the beautiful eastern women.

Her clothing was dark, like most Demonic Sect cultivators.

Her looks and allure put her in the appearance of a late 20s big sister voluptuous type.

If Leandra is the busty Milf Elf that all men want to love, hold, and breast dive into, then...

The Human Wan Meidi can keep up with Leandra's assets and figure, even if she is a tad shorter as a Human... Fuck!

I've finally met a woman I want to motorboat, like a certain otaku pervert does in his free time.

"I... I am Loki Sky, the Holy Son, yes?"

"Disciple, come with me to my Azure Peak, I have a good drink to celebrate becoming my student, hehe. Oh, and Qinglong is waiting to meet you."

Whoosh Squish~! Just as I saw a blue black blur, and had my vision go dark inside of a deep soft valley that smelled of exotic flowers, I heard the women around me protest.
