Chapter 86: Opal & Celia's Curiosity? by Harem-Fan

Castle Albion, Ariel's residence...

Opal Blue was annoyed to come to the Balder Human Kingdom.

As the youngest of the "Seven Seas Songs", granddaughters of the Monarch Atlantis Blue, she is the one with the most talent of her royal family.

She has reached her race's peak strength of 8th Circle (just like Shehuang with a lucky encounter), and is the only well known Summoner of her royal lineage, and the master of the Mermaid Kingdom's three legendary sea monsters that are well known throughout Myst.

Even the proud World tree worshiping Elves and the battle loving Amazons don't dare provoke the Mermaids anymore thanks to her contract with Genbu, the Black Tortoise. (Genbu is a 9th Circle Ice Healer-Strong and Vanguard immortal being.)

Her older cousin, Aerial Blue, makes her come every six months to fly here in style on Bubbles, her first Summons, a Gravity Whale.

Ariel was elevated to the most noble of the Seven Sea Songs, due to marrying the only Human male Summoner and current King, Owen Balder.

Now pregnant with his child, a guaranteed genius Mermaid potential, her status is now untouchable.

If their race didn't have the "soul imprinting curse" while having sex placed on the man that claims their bodies, Owen's potential could've been spread far and wide among their Mermaid race.

But this "male selection" is why the Mermaid have remained strong for all of their vast history.

But the Nereid and Sirens have been blessed by his seeds. (Undersea orgies thrown for him when he visits.)

Opal is so annoyed that Owen is genetically repulsive to her body, but that is why Ariel was lucky to meet that Human pervert first.

Owen always flirts with her, even knowing the two can never mate, and that is why she hits him for violating the Mermaid pride.

Ariel told her that Owen has a "special kink", and thinks it is funny how Mermaids slap him when he flirts, and actually enjoys the familial interactions with the Mermaids, his favorite wife species it seems.

Owen's preferred races as lovers are... The Mermaid, Elves, Vampires, Cat Girls (he hasn't found one yet), and Easterner women.

Naturally that pervert likes all women, but those are his self proclaimed "must have Waifus", he says.

This trip was supposed to be like all the others... Vali, Owen's son, a useless silk pants Prince would continue to court herself under his father's urges, and she would have to avoid him and politely refuse his advances at parties.

Fortunately, his mother Queen Angelica Cross hates the Mermaids and scolds him for it, the 1st Queen's only redeeming quality in Opal's eyes.

Even the Monarch Atlantis Blue has been urging her to sleep with him and be his wife, because only The Eastern Emperor, Owen, and Vali are male Mages, and their genetics are absolutely splendid for Mermaid reproduction.

But then a few days ago when they arrived, Opal saw something that made her almost yell in surprise... A male Summoner that made the Demonic Sect's Holy Maiden, Baihu, his summons! (She knows the sect due to Azure Dragon's connection to Genbu.)

So Opal set her servants and sister out to gain all the information about Count Loki Sky, who apparently confronted both Alice Dark and Xia Bing right before she arrived.

The superficial intelligence she got was stunning... Just awakened, and is a 5th Circle Vanguard, 6th Circle Summoner, with triple elements!

Not only is Loki Sky an impossible male, but he already married the Northern Dutchess and is surrounded by powerful women, and apparently the Shadow Puppet named Pandora... That one was unbelievable.

She also heard that the Elves and Loki have a simmering feud, while the Amazon Ambassador tried to kill Loki in a life-or-death duel, to only be beaten then taken as a lover?!

But what made Opal frustrated about Loki, wasn't the fact he "on paper" is the perfect Human for her, but that this man didn't even look at her twice, even after seeing how strong she was!

At first she was annoyed by Loki, as his brother Thorin and King Owen told her that Loki was a vile Gu Master, the worst Kind of Eastern Summoner, and this alone should've alerted her to his class before he displayed his magic to her.

Creak~! Just as Opal was combing her long blonde hair, the door opened, and a freshly bathed Ariel entered the room.

She was gently drying her long pink hair with her Water Utility magic, and sat on the opposing daybed.

Opal asked.

"Well? You have been with your husband for over a day, what did you dig out of him, other than sex and perverted plays?"

Ariel grins and enjoys the envy of other Mermaids for marking Owen first, and she said with some intrigue.

"Not only was what we found out true, but Loki Sky is to marry Owen's daughter, Lana Balder next week! I couldn't believe it... Loki got her pregnant inside the Secret Realm, haha... Owen was still pissed."

"What?! No freaking way! Why didn't Angelica Cross kill him for doing that to her daughter?!"

"Opal, you are so naive, tsk tsk tsk~! Angelica probably told her to seduce him, for the same reasons you're investigating him... Many Mage women are eyeing him, even more than my Owe, it seems. Loki had even captured some of my husband's crushes, hehe."

Then Ariel told Opal everything she squeezed out of Owen.

Except for the "God Bro Code" items, she found out everything while under Mermaid sexual-interrogation tactics...

At the same time in the bar and grill restaurant on main-street...

Celia and Lisa were meeting for lunch again.

The blonde Elven beauty furrowed her brows and asked her friend after placing their orders.

"What do you mean he was going to come, but changed his mind after finding out it was to have the lunch meeting with him and his brother again?"

Lisa sighed and was honest with her friend.

"Celia, don't get upset, because Loki isn't avoiding you personally, but all Elves. After your reaction with the wand, he doesn't want to expose his abilities anymore than he has, understand? What you told him about only Elven Priestesses spooked him."

Celia could understand that, but...

"How did Loki get an Elven Longbow, who is Yggi, and why can he alter items? I'm not asking for the Elves, but my own curiosity."

Lisa, a fellow victim of "curiosity", smiles and says.

"It's no secret what I will tell you here, but as Loki's soon to be wife, I cannot tell you everything... It all started when we went to the Royal Realm. Loki had acquired his bow from the Dark Elf Taki Tsuki..."

Lisa then explained how Loki used magic on the World Tree root, being swallowed whole for hours, only to be spat-out later with his Elven Longbow transformed into the Yggi's Heartbow.

Lisa even told her the joke of being the World Tree's father and how the portal opened a day early for them and not the others.

While Celia was enjoying the smell of Lisa's ribs, she finally asked.

"Why does Loki call the World Tree, Yggi? That is a girl's name, right?"

Lisa, who believes in Loki's intelligence, due to their studies just nodded and said what he told her.

"He told me that Yggi is certainly a female Ash tree, and is actually the daughter of a previous World Tree. He has even talked with the tree, that was when he was sucked in."

"How can you believe that crazy tale, Lisa? Aren't you a little too blindly devoted to Loki, to even believe an impossible thing? The World Tree has always existed, and no one talks to it, just tends to it."

"Loki said he too would've thought he hallucinated it all, but both Shehuang and even Taki Tsuki also were there and talked to Yggi. The Yggi's Heartbow is physical proof..."

"As for believing Loki, I do... Not sure about the whole father part though, haha. Anyway, I'm not telling you this to convince you or try to prove some Elf teachings may be incorrect due to the Royal Elves manipulating the World Tree lore for themselves..."

"The only reason I am even telling you this is because we are best friends... You saved me back then in the Royal Realm, and I trust you with my life. So I hope you won't spread all of this back home?"

Celia wasn't sure what to believe...

How can a Human commune with their Elven heritage treasure, the World Tree?

But with her own eyes, she held the bow, saw his effortless, and careless use of Life magic to alter and strengthen an already altered item by the Priestess herself?!

If Celia didn't see it for herself, she would never believe it, because this means Loki's connection to the World Tree is much more powerful than their beloved and proud Priestess.

Suddenly, she understands why Loki is avoiding her, because if the Priestess knew Loki could perform better than herself, the Elves would just declare war to kill every Human till Loki was dead, sigh...

Lisa watched Celia frown and rub her eyebrows, then jokes.

"If I didn't know you disliked Human men, I would swear you're falling for my Loki, haha. You don't realize that you have been obsessing at trying to speak with Loki... I just recommend forgetting it altogether."

"Huh? I... I don't like Loki... He is a Human, yes. I am just curious about him."

Lisa smirked and teased her friend.

"That is for the best, because you definitely don't want to be known as a "Human loving slut" as the Ambassador, right?"

Celia was so mad at being teased, she clenched her teeth and growled out.

"I'll never be like my shameless aunt! I will marry a proud noble Elf man only, humph... Eat your stinky ribs, you Human loving slut!"

Lisa was both amused and worried for her old friend... And she hopes Loki keeps avoiding her.

Because this silly friend of hers has some unhealthy interest in her Loki...

Sylvia was holding my left arm intimately while walking down main-street for shopping...

My right-hand held Shade's hand while she was acting shy.

Behind me, my mother was holding Yin Meng's arm, and excitedly talking about what she will name her child when it is born and other fun things Yin is interested in.

My Spidey Sense was tingling, and when I looked around, I realized we were walking by the bar and grill restaurant I ate at with Lisa, Thorin, and Celia.

Remembering Lisa asking me to have lunch today with them again, and declining, made me realize they're probably in there now.

Silvia broke my thoughts of the avoided meeting, and she told me.

"Starting tomorrow, there will be seven days of banquets, parties, and events that you and I must attend. So be ready for high stakes socializing. You will be attending as my husband, not my Count, okay?"

Mwah~! I kissed her cheek and teased her.

"Great, you do all the talking and I will do all the drinking, to protect our baby!"

Shade squeezed my hand and said stoically.

"Darling Loki, don't be too happy. The odds of you doing something bad, getting caught, and regretting it is as high as the sun rising tomorrow. Please use your Mundane Divination skills tonight, to avoid the worst outcomes."

Don't need<Mundane Divination>when Shade can already predict my chaotic future...
