Chapter 78: My New Principal Is? by Harem-Fan

Northern Sky Duchy...

While her husband was conquering the Shadowlands Fairy Queen, Duchess Sylvia Sky was up bright and early.

Creak~! As she was going over some politically shaking changes in the duchy, the door opened, and her husband's second wife and her friend, Shade Winter came in.

Sylvia put her hand on her now showing "baby-bump", and she asked while sipping her tea.

"What is wrong, Shade? Are the Sky Fortress preparations not going well for our trip south?"

Shade came to the front of the desk and looked cold, then she said with some confusion in her normally serious voice.

"Sylvia, um... Why are so many corruption cases coming to light all of a sudden? But these all seem to be people that were under the control of Queen Cross, right?"

Sylvia held up a paper and said to further confuse Shade.

"Baron Argus and Baroness Gallo have just delivered "misplaced" magic core taxes they had forgotten to pay, sigh."

Shade poured herself a glass of apple juice from her mother-in-law's bakery and brewery, added ice and said.

"Queen Angelica has lost too much in the duchy that she amassed over the many years... Won't she retaliate against us? I'm worried about this."

While still rubbing her belly, Sylvia was a bit baffled as well, especially since these political losses all happened right before this winter council meeting.

"At first, I thought this had to do with Lana and Loki getting married, and Angelica was showing some good will... But this level of uprooting and purging of her forces is too much for her..."

"it's like someone replaced her with a more, nice version of herself? Did King Owen kill her and find a fake Queen to replace her? But that is impossible, so there is only one last reason for this."

Shade says her thoughts.

"Because the North is benefiting, our husband must be blackmailing her with something huge, and she has to work for him? Isn't Loki playing with fire though?"

Sylvia smiled at the serious Shade and said with some bemusement.

"Loki is definitely playing with fire, and the fire's name is Angelica. If Loki had something on her, he would've told us, right? So what could Loki have over Queen Angelica Cross that keeps Loki from even telling you and me?"

Shade realized she was copying Sylvia's action of touching her still slim belly, then it hit her!

"That is impossible, right? Loki would never do something that bad... Wait, she must have forced him, right?"

Sylvia also has a hard time imagining it, but figured it had to do with Elven Wine again.

"First, King Owen and Angelica aren't on good terms, especially after the Vali incident with Elven Wine. The likely outcome was she and-or he had too much of it, and things may have happened..."

"As for Loki being capable of doing it, well we both Know Loki is impulsive in actions and words. But Loki has been getting close with King Owen, and I believe Loki's troubles are influenced by that pervert..."

"In short, Loki and Angelica have some form of relationship that although bad, hasn't caused King Owen to take detrimental actions against him... It is almost like King Owen wants to shove Angelica onto our husband?!"

Shade made Sylvia laugh at her next uncharacteristic choice of words used.

"Fuck... My poor Loki is suffering in the capital city without us..."

Creak Creak~! As the carriage was arriving at school, I felt kinda awkward.

Baihu was holding my left arm while glaring at the woman sitting to my right, why?

I forgot Baihu could smell the insemination I left inside of Pandora this morning, sigh.

Lisa and Ayala had been talking about this morning's assembly, and the new teacher reshuffle.

Pandora, who was ignoring the virgin vixen and just read her book, The Perfect Maid.

]Master, last night you should've called me, not that dark thing. I'm mad, Loki! You have to love me too.[

I patted her hand gently and sent my own telepathic message.

]It was an accident, and Pandora is actually innocent, and I did it all. I was bonding the Shadow Fairy Queen to me, and my real body was being bad. I promise I hadn't chosen her over you, okay? And you know how I feel about you, right?[

Baihu and I both know she isn't really mad, because she is just competitive in love, as a Fox Spirit.

But Baihu still wanted me to say nice things and coax her for attention, so I did.

"Loki, did you hear me?"

Lisa's call brought me back and I asked.

"Sorry Lisa, I was talking with Baihu in our minds to not disturb your talk. What is up?"

"All of the students will go to the morning assembly instead of class, due to some changes and talking about the school break during the Winter Council gathering coming soon."

During the month-long <Winter Council Gathering>, students may return home or just take a break here while the Kingdom's hotshots make and modify laws and talk about what the kingdom should do in the next year for its goals.

"Sure, but what change is putting a smile on your face?"

Lisa said proudly.

"Teacher Leandra is teaching again. She took the role of Principal for the last twenty years to fill the vacancy left by Queen Cross, but now she will teach again... In fact she teaches one of your classes, Magic Item Creation."

I was confused, and Pandora felt it, so she beat Lisa to the punch.

"Master, the real Principal has always been Queen Cross, who had stepped down due to having Vali, and Queen Breeze was the "Acting Principal" for this time. I came with you to meet and protect the Queen at school..."

"I am broken hearted to not be able to follow you around in the shadows to observe you more, but alas, I am forced to be a Protector Knight for that woman, sigh."

"Dark Puppet, go and protect your Dark Queen, humph... I will observe my Loki in the light, not in the shadows."

Pandora wasn't bothered by Baihu's provocations at all, because her emotions are suppressed as nourishment for the Shadow Fairy Queen's slumbering soul.

Ayala reminded Baihu.

"The Royal Academy only allows Summons to be with their Summoners if they are behaving, so try not to get Loki in trouble."

Baihu nodded and put on a charming smile.

"I'll just hide my ears and tails, and will make my Loki look good, hehe."

As we arrived, she did just that and put on a new white dress that was tasteful, instead of the illusion that was just masking her nude body that had been pressing on me, sigh...

At the stables, we got out and the teachers went to meet up with the other few dozen instructors...

Pandora slightly bowed her head with her hands over her belly, as the book <The Perfect Maid> says to do.

She did it in such a way that other students hadn't noticed she was giving me a view of her deep-cleavage.

"Master, Pandora awaits the next time you "desire" my services, so I am off."

Swoosh~! And she vanished from sight before Baihu could retort, making the mature shorter woman at my side clench her jaw.

I can tell in my link that Baihu doesn't hate Pandora, but hates that she hasn't become my lover yet, due to her shyness, and this woman had.

"Let's go Baihu, I'm in your care."

Her charming smile was back, and her chin rose to let her hazel eyes meet mine.

"Oh-my~! You're not planning to do something unspeakable, are you?"

I took her hand and pulled her along, and joked.

"I can't tell you, it's unspeakable, haha."

It wasn't long before I bumped into the castle group, who was waiting for me...

Mary, Jane, Thorin, Lana, and Vali...

Lana saw my arm was free, as Baihu let go of my hand when we saw them.

Like a lady should, she only gently held my left elbow, and asked.

"Did you sleep well, Loki? I managed to get four hours of beauty sleep, haha."

"Hello Prince Vali, Thorin, and ladies. Yeah, I slept really well and had a dream I was laying on a spider web, strange right?"

Vali smiled and asked.

"Did you hear the good news? It will be announced in the auditorium."

While we walked, Lana was happy, and I guessed.

"Is it Queen Leandra teaching again, your Mother taking her post back, or the news about the Winter Court Session?"

Vali looked mysterious and shook his head, then whispered conspiratorially.

"No, although that is news, it's not big news. The news I overheard is about a Secret Realm opening, one rarely explored. It is a restricted realm from what I hear, and only middle tier Circles (4th to 6th) can enter it."

Thorin, as excited as I am, asked.

"What are the realm details, and what Elemental Plane is it tied to?"

Vali knows, but Angelica warned him to not say it yet.

"Won't know till mother announces it... Let's go, I saved seats up front for us."

Lana's body moved closer to me, while the crowd grew around us, as we walked...

Just like a plush theater on Earth, the students all sat down...

At the lectern, Vice Principal Arnaldo Rake, the reasonable teacher from my aura assessment, was finishing up the opening speech...

Behind VP Rake sat all of the thirty something teachers in chairs, waiting for him to finish.

"Now that I got to tell you all of the boring things, let me call up Queen Breeze to speak briefly to you."

Despite Owen's warnings, Thorin sat up straighter to see Leandra better, because she is really stunning on the eyes.

"Thanks Arnaldo... Hello students, I wanted to just briefly let you know that I have decided to actively take on my original teaching duties for a couple of years, as I haven't had the chance to do what I love..."

"As you all know, I used to teach the Magic Item Creation classes, and that is what I will be doing again, at least for this year and next year. After that, we will see what roles the Royal Academy will need filling..."

"I did enjoy the last twenty years as acting President, but teaching is my passion, and now I will work with my disciple, Teacher Lisa Swallow, haha. Next, let me introduce the previous and current President, Queen Cross."

Clap Clap~! The 6'5" tall Elf woman with long golden hair and blue eyes clapped for the next speaker... The two hid their dislike for one another well..

But I could feel Angelica's annoyance with the bubbly Milf Elf, but when her eyes scanned the students and saw me, I felt her annoyance get replaced by the pride of a woman wanting to impress me.

"Hello all, I'm glad to be back after my busy affairs were handled... First, let's thank former Principal Breeze for doing a splendid job!"

As the students applauded Leandra, I was amused with Angelica winking during the "affairs" part, dang.

Silence grew as she held up her hand, demanding attention, and her bright blue eyes sparkled with magic as she announced the part I wanted to know the most.

"I will talk about the boring winter council break after my next bit of news... But after that event concludes, the Secret Realm called "Dragons Graveyard" will be opening soon, and we will attend it!"

Dragons Graveyard is a place sick and old Dragons go to when their time is nearing, to lay to rest with their past family that hadn't been slain in battle.

Dragons that die here often reincarnate back into Dragons, so it is a sacred place for them to die.

But we don't go mainly for bones, Death Cores, or sightseeing unlike the Necromancers from the Corpse Refining Sect do.

We go for magical treasures...
