Chapter 77: Bump-Inn & Arachnophobia? by Harem-Fan

In the lobby of the Royal Restaurant & Inn, we bumped into an acquaintance...

It was late, and our group of Lisa, Ayala, Yin Meng, and I were getting a room for the rest of the night, with Baihu, Shehuang, and Taki Tsuki in their personal spaces.

Ambassador Celia was signing a month contract for a short stay with her advisors and guards at the Inn.

They are waiting for repairs, scratch that, a new home to be quickly built.

Lisa called out to her friend.

"Celia, why are you here so late?"

Celia felt like luck or fate was rubbing it in her face, to see Lisa and I here at the same time they came.

"Our home was damaged earlier, so we need to stay here, due to getting a discount with the royal family... Why are you here?"

Lisa, unaware of her friend's real reason for being here, sighed and said the same thing.

"Our fifth floor was destroyed in an attack tonight, so we have to stay here till it gets fixed. Seems we both have the same bad luck."

Rule number one, don't badmouth your girlfriend's friends in front of her, because it never goes well.

I can't believe these guys didn't know about the attack, so I won't say anything.

Honestly, I'm not sure why Lisa and Celia are friends, this pairing doesn't make much sense. (They were twin-sisters in their past lives.)

Lisa blushed, realizing she didn't tell her friend about me, and said to her...

"Did she say she wanted to relocate, I mean, redecorate your mansion or something?"

Celia, the Elves, and I almost jumped onto the chandelier when we heard it.

"Master Loki, I just gave them a warning that an assassin was roaming the streets. Right, Celia?"

Pandora, who nobody detected, was standing behind me and looking at the Elves with a plain and flat tone.

"Holy shit Pandora, you frightened me to death!"

She looked at me and said...

"Why, I am pretty? Besides Master, I've been next to you ever since we left the castle, you just didn't notice me."

Oh my god, has she been hiding in my shadow?! (No, she used<Blink Teleport>to show up to warn the Elves again.)

I want to take the Soul Lamp and give it back to Angelica right the fuck now!

"Why did you follow me, aren't you protecting Queen Cross?"

"She is safe, you aren't Master. An Elf tried to kill you tonight."

Celia said the wrong thing in anger.

"He wasn't a High Elf, he was a Dark Elf. We hadn't known of it till he arrived."

Lisa asked.

"Wait, you knew he was in the city?"

Celia said while backpedaling.

"We were warned about him, was all. And Pandora brought us his head."

Lisa sighed and said.

"Not warning me, your friend of danger, was the same as acquiescence to what your nation did. Celia, we are good friends, but Loki is my lover... Don't make me choose, because he will win every-time... The next time you know something, you should report to us."

Lisa didn't say another word to her best friend, and took my hand to go up to our room, leaving Celia flustered...

In the room, both Ayala and Lisa rested on the bed, while I was still up on the couch meditating...

Yin Meng was reading her book about parenting, and an emotionless Pandora sat beside me, reading some maid book.

Inside my "Personal World" where I manage my magic core and the Summons spaces I created, I floated to look for the Soul Lamp.

The spells I etched that overlap make the walls of this imaginary inner-space of mine, and where I engrave new spells and alter the worlds of Baihu and Shehuang.

And when I found the center of my inner-world, I did find the floating golden lamp with black aura around it, but I found something that shouldn't be here!

A huge beautiful black and white striped spider!

This spider looks just like the Spider Gu Insect that was guarding the egg-sack of spiderlings!

Its webs were stretching inside my inner-world, and it was watching the Soul Lamp like a prison guard.

The lamp also was entangled in the spider-silk, with it unable to break free.

At first, I expected the spider to act like normal spiders, but it really didn't move or act, so I picked up my courage to get near it and put my palm on its head...

My mind was suddenly flooded with information, and all of my doubts were suddenly made clear!

This Gu Insect is called a Fate Sharing Gu, and it grew inside of the Primordial Life core for ages, evolving.

The spider Gu and the eggs, are its descendants that lived in the Secret Realm while it evolved and hibernated, till I drew it in and refined it, as my Vital Gu.

The dream I had with Angelica was this little spider's doing on a subconscious level, connecting us both across time and space, to find my partner.

When I touched Angelica at the party, the Shared Fate Gu split into two and part of itself entered her magic core, connecting us forever.

The moment I absorbed the primordial life, I became a Gu Master automatically.

Now using this Gu, I can raise and control other Gu to my will.

Now what is going on with the Soul Lamp and my Fate Sharing Gu here?

When I touched the Soul Lamp, I could feel my contract and link with Pandora, or more specifically the Shadow Fairy Queen!

A spider-silk thread was actually inside of the Soul Lamp, so I tugged it!

[Ah~! Please don't! I am serving you already, Master.]

The voice in my mind-space wasn't that of Pandora, but the voice of a regal woman, a mature sounding woman?!

I pulled again, and to my shock, a shadowy naked fairy-like woman with red glowing eyes came out of the lamp, like a hot shadowy Genie!

She doesn't have distinct features, just a hot silhouette of shadow, but even in my inner-world, I can feel her body?!

"Pandora?"

[I am Queen Pandora. You are contracted with my split-soul in the real world... I am Shadow Fairy royalty of the Dark Plane, Human.]

"Why can I hold you if you're a Shadow Fairy? Wait, you are in my magic core?!"

[Unhand me, my body isn't to be touched by you, Master!]

"Why are you trapped in the Soul Lamp, Queen Pandora?"

She keeps trying to get out of my arms and flee into the lamp, but said.

[I was tricked by my subordinates, and the Shadowlands fell into their hands... I was the rightful Queen. Please let me go, your touch is uncomfortable.]

I sensed my Fate Sharing Gu's abilities and asked.

"Do you want to leave the Soul Lamp and go to the body of Pandora in Myst? My Gu here can pull you out and into the body your split-soul is in?"

The Shadow Fairy Queen's struggles stopped, and she asked.

[You can end my eternal imprisonment? How?]

"Share our Fate! You will be tied to me, like a Summons, and the Soul Lamp can no longer hold you."

[Greedy Human, you not only want my Split Soul, but this Fairy Queen as well?!]

"Can I? I think your Split Soul Pandora is nice, and she saved my life. But if you're not willing, I won't force you and we can just keep things as is?"

For a long time, the shadowy woman lay in my arms, looking at me with glowing red eyes, evaluating the pros-and-cons.

[Then, you can't be my master, but my Shadow King. I serve no one... I am a noble being of the Shadowlands. So, how will you free me?]

I was really surprised she agreed! Actually, she and the Split Soul are one in the same, just she remotely controls Pandora, well like a Shadow Puppet.

So by using my Fate Sharing Gu, like with Angelica, I can pull her real soul into Pandora and free her, but she will still be mine in a way.

Mwah~! I kissed the featureless face I couldn't see, and her struggles at my actions soon stopped.

Queen Pandora's arms wrapped around me, feeling the webs of fate joining us.

Even though she visually had no features, the tactile feeling proved her body was exceptionally Human-like, as our souls joining continued for a while.

While our souls were "making-love", the Shared Fate Gu's compound eyes flickered, and spun webs around our entwined bodies, cocooning us, and also separating her from the Soul Lamp...
