I don’t even know how to compliment you anymore." Avery pursed her lips and smiled. "Don’t compliment me then. I’m not lacking in that."
"Alright, I won’t compliment you." Zayn smiled. He then said solemnly, "I hope that I’ll have the chance to do something for you in the future. Even if it means going through extreme danger, I won’t hesitate."
"Hey, don’t make it sound so scary." Avery quickly waved. "I don’t want to see my family go through extreme danger. If there really is extreme danger, let me be the one to face it."
Zayn smiled and patted her head. "Impressive."
Avery chuckled and stood up. "I’m going back to my room. You should rest early too."
When she passed by the living room, she noticed that Resilient Queens was playing on the television. Her mother and Arthur were watching it with great interest.
The host was not Elsie.
On the third night after the online defense, Elsie posted a tweet on Twitter: [Due to health reasons, I have to leave my beloved broadcasting career and hosting career. Thank you everybody for your support.] There was no further news from her afterward. The next morning, her Twitter account was deactivated. Many people in the industry said that her cell phone number was also no longer active and that she could not be reached.
