Chapter 81
Alexander softened at that thought. His lips curled into a happy arc, and his eyes became gentler. Avery was also looking at Alexander. She did not dare to look into Alexander’s eyes, as they were so deep that she felt she could get lost in them. Thus, she stared at his head. However, Avery was too embarrassed to stare too long at Alexander, so she tried to find something to talk about.
"Y-Your hairstyle is unique."
In the SUV, Louis, who was using binoculars to observe his boss’s date, almost choked. He couldn’t believe what Avery had just said. As expected, the thoughts of a beautiful, straight-A student were not something he could understand. Louis couldn’t hear what Avery was saying, but he could read lips.
Alexander smiled and stroked his bald head. "My sister is vain. I was afraid she wouldn’t be able to stand being bald when she woke up, so I shaved my head for her to see. Does it look good?"
"Yes." Avery nodded vigorously. "It’s very s**y. I want to touch it."
After saying that, Avery covered her face with both hands. She was beyond embarrassed by what she had just said. Alexander lowered his head before her. "Go on. Touch it."
Avery covered her face with one hand and carefully placed her other hand on his head. Her face was filled with amazement. She thought, ’So this is what a bald head feels like. It feels very strange. It’s bare and smooth but also prickly.’ Avery stroked from the top of his head to the back of his head and back again. She loved the touch of it.
"Mr. Moran, you’re here..." The wooden door of the restaurant opened. The boss walked out and was instantly stunned when he saw this. He wondered if the strange bald man was really Alexander. Besides, he seemed to have interrupted something.
Avery came back to her senses and hid her hands behind her back. She coughed lightly. "The shape of your head is perfect. You look good bald. Moreover, you won’t be hot in the summer."
