Chapter 327: Marked as yours

Andrew was really hoping that no one noticed how hard of breath he and Maxwell were when they arrived. Andrew tried to make sure that the kitchen didn’t reek of their actions, but that other parts were quite obvious. Maxwell looked like he’d been fucked. There was nothing Andrew could do about that. The man normally oozed confidence, sexiness and a cockiness that had most alphas and anyone who saw him with a desire to have him. Now? With his slightly flushed cheeks and that slightly satisfied and dazed look in his eye?

Andrew was a bit worried that the others might think it was okay to touch.

Andrew didn’t even consider what he looked like. His glasses were clean, his back burned with the marks Maxwell had made under his shirt and he felt a little naughty walking around with the memory of Maxwell’s breath against his throat, his soft cries as Andrew pounded him into oblivion on the kitchen counter.

Andrew’s back hurt a little bit from the angle he had to fuck him at, and he looked forward to being able to adjust the kitchen counters. For cooking reasons, of course.

Andrew was also the one who made sure to open the door for the contracting crew that arrived, a smile on his face, adjusting his glasses and shirt in their line of sight. He was sure they could notice the bite mark that Maxwell had made on his throat, since it had a pulse of its own on his neck.

The head contractor even stared at him, probably the bite mark, for a bit too long before he began speaking to Andrew about the plan for today. Andrew listened carefully, taking note of everything he said before telling him that he probably wasn’t the right guy to tell all this to, but Maxwell was in the kitchen.

Andrew could tell that annoyed him. Mainly because Andrew had let him ramble on for a few minutes before deferring him to Maxwell. It was a bit of a power play, but at the same time, Andrew just wanted to make sure that he knew who was the power house of this family.

Andrew didn’t want anyone to think that because he was taller, and bigger, that he had control in this house. He had control over the kitchen, and how the house was eventually laid out, but he’d handed pretty much everything else over to Maxwell. The finer details? Andrew didn’t really care about that, he just didn’t want Maxwell to spend an arm and a leg for stuff.

So, Andrew led the head contractor to the kitchen and where Maxwell was finishing up his breakfast. He smiled softly at the man, catching him off guard. Andrew was also a little suspicious. Maxwell hadn’t been this kind of person around the head contractor at all. He’d been harsh, abrasive, and controlling. Smiling softly at another man?

Andrew sat back just to watch.
