Chapter 89: A good support system
His hands shook as he began to type out his reason for not speaking, but no one said anything as he worked. It was clear he wasn’t doing well, but Michael said nothing, letting Andrew get it out. Andrew knew that if Michael gave him some sweet, placating words that it wasn’t going to end well for him.
Andrew, that was. Not Michael. Andrew would never fire the man. He was too good at his job, and he was good and motivating Andrew. No, Andrew just felt like he would burst into tears if he was treated too kindly right now.

"Andy, you remember when we discussed this, right? Only your canines are going to fall out. Not the rest of your teeth." Andrew motioned for the phone back, his hands still shaking. Michael watched him quietly, patiently, as Andrew fumbled through another sentence.
Micheal took the phone from Andrew’s offered hand and read the words. He frowned before glancing up at Andrew.

"Andrew, as much as your situation is unique, there are some standard things to be expected. You are not the first to manifest as a true alpha, remember? You attend group meetings for this exact reason. I am sure that they have experienced what you are going through right now. But if it makes you feel better, I will get us an appointment with a dentist right now. Will that make you feel better?" Andrew nodded, sniffing. He’d been avoiding crying this whole time, but he was just so overwhelmed.
Fuck. he felt like a giant baby. He hadn’t cried this much since he was seven and his father had come to visit him for the first time that he could remember.
